      Isa
      The muslims were dressed the same way as the mushrikeen, when Islaam came they didn’t all of a sudden have a specific type of dress that all the muslims only wore, part of the sunnah is growing the beard, trimming the moustache, trousers above ankles etc.

    • @IlmQuarter
      @IlmQuarter 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Isa
      Every community has their own way of dressing and as long as it doesn’t entail anything haraam, it is completely acceptable

    • @IlmQuarter
      @IlmQuarter 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Isa
      I understand my brother but I’m just merely pointing out that the thobes of today are not sunnah but rather a cultural attire, similarly what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم wore in those times was in line with the culture of his people, his clothing wasn’t distinct as to set him apart from his people.

    The beginning is so spot on Subhan Allah, like you could summarize the whole concept of Islam in a flash and was so hazardous, not even planned Subhan Allah 💚🙌
    Absolutely love this episode it's got the whole notion of Islam not just to non-muslims but also to aesthiests. It brings on all the points people actually debate about especially youth.

    Very constructive , enlightening conversation , I strongly recommend adapting this understanding of how Muslims should deal with life in the west especially concerning the architecture of the houses of Allah, as there is no precise design was recommended by the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم except facing Makkah , yes the mosque should represent the art and culture of the land of its people.
    Thanks a lot to shaikh abduraheem he really opened my eyes , and made me look to many aspects of life deferentially.

My kid listens to you guys please discuss these things and their importance I really want to see our kids in every field shining like a star. I tried it in nottingham but almost all Imams in mosques turned offer down. I want to invite experts from different fields to motivate our kids towards this education as well. When I look at todays world and our share in it we are not standing anywhere. If there are some then we need to bring them in lime light to encourage others.

    👉Does Qur’an allow Beating women?
    🟡 The ultimate proof that Islam doesn't allow it.
    ▪︎Let Qur’an speak for itself! (Facts)
    ❗Question: What is meant by the Arabic word in Qur’an: "إضربوهن" or (Edhrebuhun)? That some people think it's beating women lightly if they fall into wrongdoing/transgression!
    🔹️ It cannot be imagined that God commands the Flogging/beating of a life partner. As the Noble Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) never raised his hand on a lady or any human being, as he's the most knowledgeable of mankind in the Qur’an, and he is the ultimate example of all Muslims.
    🔹️ The commentators/researchers track down the word "إضربوهن" or (Edhrebuhun) in the Qur’an to bring the correct meaning, and how Allah the exalted used it for other matters in the Qur’an.
    ▪︎Researcher adds: "we're certain that "إضربوهن" or (Edhrebuhun) mentioned in the Qur’an cannot mean beating lightly, meaning the colloquial sense, because a religion of this highness, sophistication, mercy and greatness (Islam), which does not allow to harm a cat, insect or cut a tree cannot allow hitting, harming the mother, sister, wife and daughter.
    The wonderful meaning of Arabic word: "إضربوهن" or (Edhrebuhun) in the Qur’an is not as some people understand it".
    🔵 What does the verse say ..!
    👉Allah Almighty said: {And those (Women) whom you fear Transgression/disobedience, exhort them, and abandon them in the dens, and ("إضربوهن"/ (Edhrebuhun); for if they obey you, do not persecute them}. Nissa 4:34
    Through knowledge of the Qu'ran and the Arabic language, its development, and its interpretation, dealing with a woman who went too far in her disobedience and transgression, we see in this verse an escalating actions.
    ▪︎First is through admonition, good speech, advice and guidance.
    ▪︎ If they do not respond, then abandonment in the beds, i.e. in the sleeping beds, which is the second treatment method and has its psychological and educational significance on the woman and desertion here inside the room.
    ▪︎ And lastly is for the Arabic word: "إضربوهن" or (Edhrebuhun), it is not the actual meaning of striking/hitting with the hand or an object.
    ➡️ Because the actual word meaning here is a temporary distance or moving away from the marital home.
    Since the meanings of the words of the Qur’an are extracted from the Qur’an itself, we have followed the meanings of the word in the Qur’an and in the authentic rich Arabic language, we find that it mostly means paradox, divergence, separation and ignoring, in contrast to the current meaning of the word “hitting/beating”.
    ■ Examples:
    1)- hitting with a stick is used the word (جلد/Jalada).
    2)- Beating on the face is used (لطم/Lattama).
    3)- Beating on the backside is used (صفع/Safa'a).
    4)- Hitting with a fist is used (وكز/Wakaza).
    5)- And beating with the foot is used (ركل/Rakala).
    ➡️ And in dictionaries of language and grammar books, if we followed the word "إضربوهن" or (Edhrebuhun).
    We will find some clear examples in Arabic literature and poetry in saying:
    (ضرب الدهر بين القوم)▪︎
    It seems to mean: Striking/beating an eternity among the people!), but in fact it means separating people.
    ︎(ضرب عليه الحصار)▪︎
    (he was Beaten/hit by siege) means to isolate him from his surroundings.
    ︎(ضرب عنقه)▪︎
    (Beaten/struck by the neck) means to separate it from his body.
    (أضرب عن الطعام)▪︎
    (Beat or strike on food) He is obtaining from food (Hunger strike)
    (إضراب)▪︎
    Beating or striking, snd means Strikes. i.e. Work strikes.
    So (ضرب or Dharaba) then means alienation, separation, and ignoring.
    🔴 Examples from Qur’an: word "ضرب" or (Dharaba) means separating/Distancing:
    👉Allah Almighty said: 《وَلَقَدْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي فَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقاً فِي الْبَحْرِ يَبَساً لَّا تَخَافُ دَرَكاً وَلَا تَخْشَى》Taha:77
    {And We surely inspired Moses, ˹saying,˺ “Leave with My servants ˹at night˺ and (strike/Beat) a dry passage for them across the sea. Have no fear of being overtaken, nor be concerned ˹of drowning˺.”
    ▪︎ To have a separation for them between the water a path.
    👉Allah almighty said: {فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنِ اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ} Sl-Shuara:63
    {So We inspired Moses (Strike/Beat) the sea with your stick، and the sea was split, each part was like a huge mountain.}
    ▪︎To separate the sides of water creating a path.
    👉 Allah Almighty said: {لِلْفُقَرَاء الَّذِينَ أُحصِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ضَرْباً فِي الأَرْضِ} Al-Baqarah:273
    {..˹Charity is˺ for the needy who are too engaged in the cause of Allah, they have no (beating/striking) in the land..}
    ▪︎But the actual meaning is they cannot work or even immigrate, and nothing to do with the understanding of the actual beating.
    👉Allah Almighty said: {وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ} Muzamil:20
    {..And others that (strike/beat) on the ground desiring the grace of God} Al-Muzammal 20
    ▪︎Meaning is they travel and move away from their homes to seek livelihood, and nothing to do with the meaning of beating.
    👉The Almighty said: {فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُم بِسُورٍ لَّهُ بَابٌ بَاطِنُهُ فِيهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُهُ مِن قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُ} Hadeed:13
    It seems that it means: {And (struck/Beat) between them with walls that had a door inside which had mercy, and the outward appearance of which was torment ahead}
    ▪︎But the correct meaning is: {Then a ˹separating˺ wall with a gate will be erected between them. On the near side will be grace and on the far side will be torment.}
    🔘 Finaly It is said in proverbs (ضرب به عُرض الحائط) (striking the width of the wall), meaning neglecting it and turning away from it.
    And this meaning is what is meant in the verse we're analysing.
