I'm pretty sure Squidward was meant to be playable. He appears in the Chum Bucket Lab cutscenes with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy (all playable characters) for no reason and the concept art shows a Robot Squidward boss. There are only robot bosses of the playable characters (And Plankton)
Ultrai Breaker I was also kind of freaked out by the laugh and the Karate shout at first. Nowadays it doesn't bother me too much, but when I first fought this guy, that shout and that laugh scared me.

The characters have abilities that connect to their personalities and skills, the levels are filled with easter eggs and collectables, and THE BOSSES ARE GIANT ROBOTIC VERSIONS OF YOUR CHARACTERS!
A seriously underrated game out there this is. Its puzzle's are fun and hilarious, the characters are as they should be, and overall, a HUGE variety of gameplay that keeps u hooked the whole time. On top of that, awesome music to boot.
fun fact, there was supposed to be another part of the final boss. were the robo-spongebob used the trademarked *ANCHOR ARMS* as a part of the battle there are files in certain version (PS2 i think) that have the *ANCHOR ARMS* part of the battle in them, but for some reason when you try to load these in the game will auto crash there ALSO... you remember patrick's dream right? that small little room were he just gave you the spatula? well again there are some files of an unused level that was orginally patricks dream this level was food theme'd having ice cream mountains.. and for some reason Ms.puff killer pickles and onions, a random floating line of the characters and robots, and even unused beta textures of certain tikis, and at one part there is a random warp to Patrick's actual dream. *the more you know!!!*
To put it bluntly. Patrick was supposed to have an actual dream level (like Sandy's) but was unfinished. Files for the level can be found in the game files. There was another part to the final boss where Robobob had his anchor arms. Like the level mentioned above its unused, and can be found in the game files. But it is not playable and crashes when you load it. There is an early menu where you can activate with a glitch. The menu hints that Glove World was going to be a level at one point. That's all i got.
The thing I love about all these robocharacter themes is that they aren't rushing you. Sure, it picks up a bit, but all around they're rather slow. It's like the game is saying "YOU NEED TO GO KICK THAT BOSSES ASS!!! Um... if that's okay with you...." Or something.
I’m not sure what it is, but this battle resonated with me so deeply as a child, the huge looming robot that has an almost disturbing design about it, even more disturbing than the other robots. The way it just approaches you with its large hands and how it’s KA RA TAE attack is so powerful it flips the platforms in front of you, so you’re forced to either run or fall to the ground, but you aren’t safe at all when that plankton robot starts to attack you, so you’re forced to get back up there with that beast of a robot. The music seriously gives it that epic and disturbing vibe of batting the final boss, I’ll never forget it. I’m dying to play it once more in the remastered version!
The best part is that the boss is generally really hard and the song compliments the challenge. It fealt so good beating this boss after my 50th attempt.
This music is very intense, it's like the player feels like this is the moment they've been waiting for, and it is Spongebob's time to shine and finish the job and save Bikini Bottom and the day.

The Anchor Arms final boss is actually on the back of the box in a screenshot if I remember correctly.
