I just bought this USB-to-Ethernet and hooked it up. Love that it includes a hub. Getting 210 Mbps with my provider and movies are streaming smoother. Thanks for this video, its perfect!
Hey Superdell, just wanted you to know, that your suggestion of re-booting my Onn 4k Pro did work just like your video said. I am so happy that it worked, and I found you and your videos.
Hey just so you know, If anybody's having problems like me, I was setting everything back up, and did a speed test again, and my speed went back down...So I disconnected my IPVanish, and it went back up. Now I just need to figure how to get both.
Superdell, You have an informative show. I was about to think that most people that do this is copy copy-casting some one else, but you are the true original. I like your show and have subscribed today. Great Job.
Good afternoon Dell Thank you for Come back to do this For us to see how you work i appreciate all your time your doing for people Thank your family for share this wonderful Video God is good all the time Enjoy your rest of your day on this Monday
Question why would you need power the usb drive? Would it get power by the onn device? I’m just curious because I pay for 1g up and down but I get 360 with this method and roughly the same on WiFi
Hi, is there any way to turn off the microphone on the ONN box itself but still use the microphone on the remote? When I turn the box off it appears that I cannot use the microphone button on the remote. Thank you
I bought the UGREEN USB to Ethernet Adapter USB 3.0 to 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit LAN Network Adapter. for my 4k pro. I plug it in the USB port and get it to connect with no problem. However, when I turn off the on box and turn it back on, it will not count as a wired connection, and the Ugreen connection stops flashing, meaning there is no connection. I have to manually disconnect the Ugreen USB port and then reconnect it to get it to work again. What is going on? Is it a power issue or something else? I have a feeling if I purchase the hub, it will do the same thing, especially since it does not have an external power source
@Superdell…I got this device the other day and I was wondering ..do you have to plug in the 3.0hub to usb c to power…what charger do you recommend for the usb c connection? Do you think a iPhone charger will work
What are you pulling using wifi 5g? I go from 100 DL to about 400 wifi too. Please let me know. Some people may not have the means no matter if the OTG is $10 or $30. And if they can benefit using wifi for a while everyone is boosted 👍
got the new onn pro still have a freeze up issue with tv. presently running straight ethernet after watching your video will get 3.0 usb to ethernet don't need hub will let you know results
In this Onn Box Pro, some apps don't have the pop-up 'give permission' tab to allow these apps to be installed. I manually give all permissions in the section where it's located, but they don't take it for some reason, and I can't install it. Does anyone know of a work-around our where the "Unknown Apps" is located?
i guess if you have an 8k tv or you're the picky ocd type this can be beneficial, but as it showed in the speedtest capabilities, it doesn't take much to run 4k streams. i can do it with 25 Mbps. so for those of us with a 4k tv or less why would you want to create more cables running out of the back of your tv for extra gigs you don't really need? i say worry about that when 8k becomes mainstream in about 5 or 6 yrs from now.
If anyone has the box with gig internet and tested the method he did what speeds are you all getting? Since I'm looking to get the onn 4k pro and use a 1000mbps ethernet adapter
@@SUPERDELLTV Thanks for repling, Yes, I turned off the wi-fi...another thing I tried after that didn't work was, I went into systems - developer options-scrolled down to select usb configurations, and tried RNDIS (usb ethernet) and MTP (media transfer protocol), but both of those did not help. It was set for charging, should I change it back?... Something else I could try?
@@SUPERDELLTV Thanks again for taking the time to respond again...I'll try what you have suggested...I just started following you, and look forward to other videos you'll come up with.

Dell, do you know how to get around the safe browsing on the Onn Pro?
can it be any brand 3.0 USB to Ethernet adapter
Just to be sure, I plug the USB 3.0 from the hub to the USB on to the ONN box, right? I'm just paying for 100 mbps but upgrading to 300 mbps.

Does the ethernet adapter automatically download drivers or is that something we have to do on a PC first?

Now if we can figure out a way to supercharge the box itself to improve the CPU and GPU benchmarks.
Does it make a difference with speed of navigation on the device? I gotta imagine you really wouldnt notice it in your every day usage.
Gigabit, not Gigabyte. Internet speeds are measured in bits, hard drives are measured in bytes.
You're right, but as long as you know what Im talking about 😊
@@SUPERDELLTV lol, How you doing SuperDell. Been a while it's K1NGT3CH

Thanks. So I'd need a new ethernet adapter?
Thanks. So I'd need a new ethernet adapter?
Saulte from San Diego California.
But here is the thing - do you visually notice any difference in your streams?
dos it have speaker built-in 4k box,or just have mic only?
It has both
Are there settings that need to be changed to ONN box for USB internet.
nope. All you need to do is follow the step I presented to you in this video. No changes in settings are needed..
Superdell please do a review of the speed test with a VPN on. The results are different when running a VPN with the speed test.
I dont use VPNs. I may do it in the near future
I have one with the non backlit remote.😂
No wifi 6 test?
I don't stream on wifi
Bro this isn't even on the Walmart website yet obviously you got very lucky finding it when you did when is the street date for it?
I'm reading articles that say this device is listed on Walmart website but I can't find it.
??
WTF?
Me either. A lot of folk are doing walk ins
Can you use this device with Wi-Fi? And what’s the speed with Wi-Fi?
yes you can. The wifi chip is great
I got mine wired up like that with a gigabyte adapter and my download speeds went from 95 mpbs to over 400 Ethernet.
@@Steve0885 nice...hard wire is the best way to go
Will this work with other 10/100 boxes?
I believe so, but it depends on the device you're using
Superdell thinking hes a star
USB 3.0 doesn't support up to 1gbps. I believe it maxes out around 400mbps. Still a great improvement.
Don't confuse bits and bytes. USB 3.0 has transmission speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s or 5000 Mbit/s
@@BorisZX6R you're right, good call
What happend to using Analiti wifi speed tester
Looking for an app killer?
