That part where the joint movements are explained through chin-ups was amazing. Connected the dots and I felt like that was a mini eureka moment on seeing that. Thank you so much!
Hello. I just wanted to tell you how refreshingly clear you made this topic. Every detail explained and re-explained and re-explained to the point where the viewer fully grasps how this Trendelenberg Sign manifests. Bravo on a work well done!
It took me such a long time understanding why the problem was in the abductors and not the adductors to have a positive sign on the Trendelenburg's test. I completely understand it now, thank you a lot! It's a very clear explanation, good video!
This is so useful for me As a physiotherapist a lot of people either young or old used to get the trendelenburg sign. They realized it after 2- 3 month post hip surgery. I hope this video can help more people to know their body and can make them easier to find a way to resolve their problem Keep it up to share more Ciao❤
God will bless u for this wonderful video, banished my doubts created from so many poor quality inadequately/wrongfully explained ones on the same topic
After the first few seconds I thought, "great another unclear video". But then I watch it until the end and boy am I glad I did because you nailed it. Thank You! Moral of story...WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO
Absolutely fantastic video... the hand deformities video was also brilliant. I almost NEVER comment on videos, but i had to let you know you’re helping me greatly. PLEASE make more videos like this.
Thank you. This explains the difficulty I’m having with my gait. I fell and broke my femur below the trochanter in November. The fall also resulted in changing my spinal stenosis from moderate to severe. The femur and spine have been surgically repaired. Now I’m working to rehab everything. This explains why my PT is pushing me to work on my gluteus medius recovery. Now I understand the issue better.
@@debbieb9628 - I go to Duke PT. I have been assigned a variety of HEP2GO exercises designed to both improve the flexibility of the hip flexors and to improve the strength of the glutes, abdominals, perispinals, and flexors. The newest addition to the routine is using the Activator Poles from Urban Poling. These aren’t just any trekking poles. They are designed to help with recovery. I can only due about 10 minutes every other day. (I can ride my recumbent trike 20+ miles in a couple of hours.). These really work my back and hips hard. They work, but go slow and increase the time very slowly.
trendelenburg made easy. very nice and definitive interpretation of the issue. in order to make something that easy to understand, it requires a vast amount of work, and it's all there to see. big thanks!
Wow, i have no words to describe my emotion when watching your videos. Pls continue doing things like this. IT is simply flawless. as bard said, I hope this becomes, in the near future, the new way of teaching medicine.
