I clicked on the vid because I have been debating on seeing a Chiropractor. I found you bc of researching stuff and came across your "reaction vids". Have watched a few of the ring dinger vids and thought maybe this is similar, or possibly the same treatment, using a different technique. ? I'm very nervous about going to a Chiropractor - concerned about more damage being possibly done. I have been diagnosed with Sciatica - it came on suddenly - and have not been able to work for going on 3 weeks now. Is it typical for sciatica to also cause swelling in the leg it affects? Would you recommend x-rays before adjusting a patient? Thanks for your time! 😊
pretty cool to keep an open mind about it. I agree with the comment below, I prefer the OG ring dinger! I know you wrestled so you'll appreciate this, Steve Austin talks about Harley Race doing the ring dinger in the locker room on guys :)
Please explain what vertebrae you are contacting when doing this? What exactly are you adjusting? The reason I ask is because if you injure someone and they sue you, how are you going to explain what you are doing exactly? How do you demonstrate this in on an X-Ray in the court of law?
Honest question. My chiro found I have spurs on my upper thoracic to my upper lumbar only after he x-rayed my spine. Needless to say, he does not touch that part of my spine. My question is-do you x-ray your patients prior to performing the y-strap? If you don’t, how would you know they could have bone spurs? I assume, of course, the Y Strap would be a dangerous procedure for someone like me.
I've never had a Y-strap adjustment myself and will admit I would like one based on what I've seen in other videos. This may be addressed in the video you have coming up but I'll ask anyways, just in case. What specifically made you go from skeptic to a believer? Is it something you see in the x-rays or just the patient response to the treatment? You mentioned that is is similar to spinal decompression but not sure what that is as well. I guess I'm just interested in the finer details. Thanks. Love the videos
Important question: Do you MRI the cervical spine prior to keep an eye out for Arnold Chiari Malformation??? In the past 2 years, I have come across 4 patients with this, 3 already diagnosed and one I diagjosed. It would be quite a risky procedure with these patients.
So I have 3 Herniated disc and 1 Bone Spur I've tried medications, shots and Physical therapy and nothing helps with my leg pain. Would seeing a chiropractor be safe and effective for herniated discs?
@@theathenakeene Yeah I’ve seen orthopedic for it and had X-ray and MRI done and found out I had 3 herniated discs and 1 bone Spur and was told I need laminectomy but I’m tryna see other options first
I agree, the Y strap is fantastic. It’s all in how it is applied and executed. I think many apply it too aggressively, which is why it could get a bad reputation.
I have wanted to see how this would do on my back being I have a bulging of the disc on my lower back, but not sure if here in Australia, do them or if it even is beneficial for lower back pain.
What's your thoughts on the Y-Strap adjustment? Have you had one before? Tell us your experience in the comments below!

I’m not a chiropractor but that sounds more like a spinal / nerve/ neuro specialist’ territory.

Any studies to back up your anecdotal evidence?
