Had to stop it to comment that I felt like that outside to inside move was just the best illustration for why the 250’s just needed to get out of the way.
That was absolute ace. Great ride, keeping the momentum isn't always easy on a 125, but you managed it well. Shout out to your suspension guys, that looked well dialled in.
I'm honestly amazed by that audio! I could start up the yz in the garage right now, and it still wouldn't sound as good as this video. Please share how you did it!
I had a Honda XL185S Enduro and was riding in the AZ desert one day. I ran across some 250 2 stroke dirt bikes and decided to try my best to keep up with them. I was amazed that it was very easy for me some how. I've done this before on an old Huffy 10 speed bike and won a timed race on a dirt track. I think it's not all about the bike, but a lot to do with the rider. I'm not saying I was great or anything because I never went up against professionals. But I was the underdog in more races than I just mentioned. This was back in the 80s, so take that to heart I guess???? I don't know. I'm too old for this kind of thing now, but I wish I had chosen a different path now that I look back on it. I could have been the first of many things back then. Oh well. I'm happy with what I did then for the most part. BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Still,,,,,,,,,,,,, I wonder........... Dang it!!!!!!!! Never give up even when you don't think you're competing and do so well. Maybe,,, Just maybe it's not a coincidence that you did so.
Awesome video and great riding. Very refreshing to see mx videos on TH-cam that aren’t at Glen Helen raceway in California. That place is an eye sore 🥱
I've said it before and I'll say it again it's not just the machine but it's also the rider. You can take anybody and put them on a bike but the question is can they ride it. I have a Yamaha 60 that was bored out to make it an 85 and it's automatic. And we run this little Yamaha like it ain't no tomorrow. I've beaten people in a 1,000 CC side-by-side on that little Yamaha because it's how you drive and how you shift and what you do while you're driving that motorized machine. Doesn't matter what it is you can drive it to the wheels fall off of it... Props to the rider on this video definitely clean definitely methodical and definitely running flat wide open in that little 125 have an all them dudes on them 250 is reanalyze their life and their bike setup
The 125 does just fine against the bigger bores on the straight always, but where the 250s really shine is the low end grunt they have to power out of corners
Yea, they had the it perfect, or I don't think he could have launched it so far on those downhills, and it didn't stumble the bike due to the G-out, and it can be tricky to get a bike dialed to keep the tire planted coming out of acceleration bumps, so it had to be about perfect for that track. To hit a downhill drop-off like that, with total confidence, at an angle on top of that, I'd say they had that bike dialed, but I don't mean to take anything from the rider, he is a very skilled dude to be doing that stuff lap after lap, without hesitation. Very impressive ride, bike and track.
Now this track looks fun Af
Everybody said it was ROUGH
@@carladamcarter looks really rough
imagine it nice and smooth.. so FAST 💨
Great ride against the 250s. That bike sounds crisp and fast.
It does!
Found neutral in second corner great ride 😂

Yes indeed!
Dude that was so gnarly
My man can ride, I was getting anxiety just from watching you. Especially on the downhill parts
YES! Love it! Making Chicco and Team Maddi proud!
Josh, thank you so much!

Those 250 riders were regional guys against a Pro on a HOT 125😂
Video proof that outright horsepower isn't everything. ;)
So freaking love the sound of 2 stroke fine and crisp! Nice riding dude!
That 125 is fast as hell. Nice job man love the video. ❤
Josh is a badass rider! That looks fast and fun!
I get sweaty palms just looking at this track. Wow! He really does hit helmet justice. And what a sound coming from that 125!
That was absolute ace.
Great ride, keeping the momentum isn't always easy on a 125, but you managed it well.
Shout out to your suspension guys, that looked well dialled in.
I love the sound and smell of 2 strokes tearing it up. Great riding.
Thank you for sharing ! Amazing ride
Glad you enjoyed it

We use a wind cover! And then use the raw Audio option on GoPro and edit the audio to sound as best as possible
DLR tail pipe 🤣
@@IgniteMoto23 Thank you for taking the time to do so. The sounds are perfect!
Reminds me of how I felt in 1974 racing my 125 Elsinore. Instead of Rosebud, I’ll be saying Elsinore.
2:19 what an absolute beauty of a line

You don't stop racing because you get old, you get old because you stop racing
On the pipe! Sounds great! What a ride!
Wise choices!
The speed you carry into the corner, has a rut for the speed of your exit.
Rode them real wel!
Thanks 4 the ride. Mint mint.
Our pleasure!
SUPER cool track layout! Would LOVE the chance to race here!!
Such an amazing video. That sound and riding is straight up insane
Long LIve the 2smoke! Great ride brother!!!

It's not the Bike in the Fight but rather the Fight in the Bike.... Let's Go little Husky 125!!!
That’s a reason to follow my guy was getting huge air and the bike was singing
Nothing compares to the sound of a two stroke going flat out❤
That's the best sounding 125 i have ever heard!
the neutral bomb at the beginning............i felt the in my soul xD
Awesome ride!!!….congrats…….makes me think about buy a 125 right now
Wow ur really good rider tbh! So fast out there! Keep it up
Wow ! Think you kill it with braking and cornering ..awesome effort
i so miss that feeling. 2 strokes for life.
Makes me love my RM125 again 😢❤
The 125 does just fine against the bigger bores on the straight always, but where the 250s really shine is the low end grunt they have to power out of corners
Thats where you need a talented rider, to get the best out of the bike.
Great video dude
Glad you enjoyed! Josh is the man!
what an intense fight... nice video
250 " WHAT " Wick ✊ ON 125 Bad Ass Ride
Must’ve done some serious suspension work. When i had my husqy 125 2003 the. Suspension broke off from the inside with some light enduro work.

Man, this looked like a badass race. Makes me wanna get the ol 2 stroke goin!
Bro you are SCREAMING that thing. So sick.
He definitely knows how to ride a 125!
@ do you know who the rider is?
Its Josh Vail
@@IgniteMoto23oh I see it’s in the description my bad
That thing pulls hard
Very impressive!
Very!
This track loos fun. Nice for the 125 to let er eat
This track is so dope
7:43 Boots saved your ankle there.
50% capacity, 110% effort 👌🏻 nice job 👏🏼
Chainsaw tuned to perfection destroys forest of four strokes. Rider was like Damon Huffman on his best day. Bad ass
Track looks fun to ride not race, pretty one lined around the whole track. Need some outside options
0:55 dude wtf...if anyone goes left off that cliff, it's over.
That was very impressive.
Dude knows how to rip a 125 !!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
great footage, amazing track, superb rider on a small bike = subscribe
Thank you! More to come
the little mosquito against hornets 😂
Your good. Always in right gear so u dont drop powerband.
A 125 in the right hands is all you need. The 250s seem to have a tad better exit but that’s about it!
It's not all about power, skill, courage and a little bit insanity can also do the job.
Bro on the right on turn 1 was driftin lol
Trop fort !!!
That footage is crazy! Whats your setup for filming? 😃👍👍
This was shot on a GoPro HERO12 with an ND32 filter! Shutter speed set to 1/60 for the best motion blur and then colour graded by our editor🙌🏼
what position do you have the carburetor needle [needle clip]
THAT is what flat out means! Wow! Do you hear just horns when you ride by or can you hear people cheering at you in a race?
Outgunned!
Is this the real Ricky Carmichael 😂😂
So is it a husky or Honda . You wrote both in title and description
The Husqvarnas used be cr back in 2002
I don't know too many sweeter sounds than a 125cc 2 stroke up on the pipe :)
Seen that 06 rm250 take the hole shot
2:22, nice
that sounddddd so sweet
I got arm pump watching this !!
A very very good rider👍😀
Holdin her wiiiiiiide
Love watching the 125s nip the heals of the 250s then sneak inside for the pass.
What's been done to the motor on the 125cc
Where is this lap? Great place, looks a lot fun
This is at Foxhills in Swindon, UK
Grear rider and bike, who ever spins the spanner on that bike needs a pat on the back
The two stroke 125 is just amazing; playful, teaches a rider how to ride and they scream.
Dude can ride,, wow,,, that bike sounds as sharp as a razor,,
When Husqvarna was italian 🇮🇹❤️
That's a big bore kit 150 ! And it's geared for that track .
Definitely not a big bore!
I want to see footage of 250 two strokes raking the track with 450 4 strokes. This here was to be expected.
this guy was burning the dirt up on that thing...
Nice. That 125 sounds angry.
This dude was flinging through the racetrack
Why this game with the throttle, it's supposed to be pind on full all the time and only work with the clutch
I want to see this with an older yz
Man I need a dirt bike!
A lil faster than my first bike. 81 RM 125. 😂
What game is this
