There are so much better examples of Parlamentet, I hope you find some more subtitled clips. The best segment is when they are forbidden to answer yes/no, making political answers only to simple questions.
@@zpokie123 That's not how this works. If anything most TH-cam videos can have Closed Captions which are AI generated subtitles in the spoken language (often hilariously wrong). For a video to have subtitles in a different language someone must have added them to it.
you never EVER tell Per to go crazy. he is already crazy in everything he does. full of energy, he is everywhere at once, loud, doesnt have any boundries, but that is also what makes him funny. And you know things will go nuts when he get the "Ok" sign to start going nuts. Anicka Andersson is the opposite. calm, sharp, quick, almost never goes crazy except with her whitty counter jokes. Dorsin and Robert is like the middle ground between Per and Annicka. One of the best line ups on the parliment show. Björn Gustafsson has also been there alot, you know, the WoW Jocke guy =) most swedish comedians have been in the Parliment. Once or twice.
I used to watch Parlamentet all the time, so damn funny xD the prompts were always so random too. "Only speak in 3rd person of yourself" or something. Or one where I think, they prompted Robert Gustafsson to "wander/change between all the swedish dialects as you speak"
You should watch Robert Gustafsson - Nazisterna made by the swedish humor group Killingänget. The other guy in that clip is Henrik Schyffert. He is also a comedian from Sweden.
We swedes enjoy british comedy shows. Even made our versions although they're never as good. Have been watching QI since I was a kid. I love this show but sadly TV4 seems to have discontinued it and replaced with other crappy shows. Btw in the last part of video they're supposed to give wrong answers although sometimes they get points if their answers are fitting enough
You should watch Hipp Hipp. In my world the best humour show in Sweden ever. When the school psychologist talks to the little boy who lost his hamster... 😂
Annika Andersson has done a lot of programs with the comedy duo Stefan & Krister. Who were heavily into "under the belt humour", puns and moonshine related misshaps. In other words "Buskis" humor. As a bonus: Stefan & Kristers main stay characters were named Birger and Olvert.
The girl in this clip is Annika Andersson. She got her fame from a massively popular outdoors comedy show in Sweden called "Buskis". You should check those out, you'll probably like the humour there is you liked Parlamentet's jokes.
Many Swedish panel shows are based on British concepts. Parlamentet is based on a BBC show called "If I Ruled the World" (98-99), we also had a version of "Have I Got News For You" that's called "Snacka om Nyheter"
Without having seen that much of this yet, Parlamentet also seems really similar to "Nytt på Nytt" that we have in Norway, which is presume is also based on the british version
It’s so much fun to ”rediscover” all this great Swedish stuff with you. I love it, thank you for sharing! Recommendations: This from the musical game show ”Så ska det låta” where Per Andersson (from Grotesco) and Måns Zelmerlöv sing Tommy Körberg’s song ”Stad i ljus”. You need to watch Kung Fury, made by a Swedish comedy team named play gamer DeLuxe. Its in English and half an hour long but its extremely good and funny.
A few of the jokes goes by you as it is a bit play with words where you need to know swedish to get it, a bit like Monthy Python many years ago, you need to know who / what they make fun of so to say. The idea in Parlamentet that one side is supposed to be left and the other right wing, but quite often it just becomes funny khaos
Overall I'd have to say British Humor and Swedish Humor is pretty similar, might be hard to tell if you'r reading subtitles only, since a lot of Iorony comes from the tones of how you say something too. But having lived in UK, watching UK humor shows back in sweden too, and watching Swedish humor shows and such, it's fairly similar humor. Dry, Irony, mixed with some sketches where the people usually take them selves very serrious, often jokes about others pretty harsh, but as to not come off as a duche combined with jokes on your own behalf.
If you want to see more of Per Andersson, then check "Kuk i hatt". More from Grotesco could be "Arbetarfiket" or "Handikapp OS" with the brit Andy McStraw.
A movie you should watch is Fyra Nyanser av Brunt (four shades of brown). To my mind this is Björn Gustafsson at his absolute best and I love this movie to bits.
Yeah, this is definitely a highlight in swedish TV history. The set up is very broadly that there are two teams; one red and one blue, sort of representing the two biggest political parties (one left and one more right-leaning, but still quite left). They then have different sections of the "game", and some of these were showcased here (with very little context, unfortunately). So, yes, it is kind of like mock the week, e.g. that they commonly ridicule recent political events.
Love Annika. She also used to be on a comedy show called Time Out. In Time Out they are two teams with two comedians and one professional athlete each. Then they answer sport questions and also do like a challenge where they try out a sport I remember right.
Per Andersson has also taken part in the musical game show "Så ska det låta" several times. At a new year's special he teamed up with Måns Zelmerlöw (Singer and Eurovision star), and they were simply magical together! Since that episode they've paired up several times on different stages. It's like a legendary duo was born. 😂 I wasn't able to find any clips with English subtitles, but here's one with a song you probably recognise: th-cam.com/video/qUEMMj8KQBY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KMkLsLaPjmZ0CIPz
Parlamentet was awesome when I was a teen. I'm surprised it's still going. I sadly don't find it funny anymore since I don't find the new comedians all that funny
You should check out the comedy group "Hipp Hipp" with Johan Wester and Anders Jansson, especially their segments "Kuratorn" and Anders Jansson's character "Tiffany Persson" 🙂
I recommend you to watch Grotesco - Handikapp OS. Bestefar og jeg is amazing aswell, but it might be lost to you since they're making fun of the Danish language. If you want more Robert Gustafsson, I'd recommend Fråga Bertil and Killinggänget. Robert Gustafsson at his prime.
You should watch YRROL - a skit comedy with some of the best comedians we've ever had(LORRY-Gänget) Robert Gustavsson here is probably our Most Beloved comedian ever.
If you’d understand Swedish this would be straight out Monthy Python …Robert is a comedy genius. But much of his stuff craves some knowledge of Swedish.
As you’ve already have been introduced to Robert Gustafsson, I can’t BELIEVE that you’ve need been recommended “Weiron I Ottan” from the show “Nile City”. Robert plays Weiron, a drunk and a real working class hero, who has turned into being an early-hours radio show host, calling random numbers on the air. In this sketch he reaches a hotel and is talking the worst swenglish ever. I’d love to see you react to this! th-cam.com/video/viV_r_XxPfY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9p9n0O66dBTCEGPh

the later shows of parlamentet is really bad humour, but the early ones are brilliant, like 2010 and earlier... rest you can skip looking at its just wasting your life ;)
I'll explain the bit about "hall" where it said (read the description). It is a word joke because "Hall" us both a famous prison in sweden and the name for the first room you enter in the house (and also the hallway). The host ment the prison but Per decribed the entryway.
There are two comedians named Björn Gustafsson and this is the older one. The younger one has also been a participant in this programme. Both are brilliant!
Wow you are really on a journey into swedish comedy. Annika Andersson became famous from her work with Stefan and Christer and they do really under the belt farce shows. Not sure if those have been translated to english yet though. But I bet someone will eventually.
Most Swedish comedians gas bean in at least one episode of parliamentet, if you want to hear a Swedish comedian doing comedy in English I would suggest Magnus betner
7:36. Hall is a Swedish prison. The host meant where is the prison Hall located. Hall is also the Swedish word for hallway. They are suposed to say the wrong thing to his questions hence Per's answer "right inside the frontdoor".

Her name is Annika Andersson (not related to Per) and she's a comedian and actress.
She has been acting on stage together with Per Andersson in the Stefan & Krister theatre shows. Nowadays, it's called Buskis.
In "Två ägg i högklackat"? That was Anna Carlsson@@tntfreddan3138
