This summer I decided to pull the trigger and got two Soundboks 3s they have been awesome! I have done a few hundred-ish people parties with them and lent them to musician friends, awesome option for locations with no power. Not sure about the GO though, it still looks like a hassle to carry despite being slightly more compact than the 3(10kg vs 16kg). In my opinion if you are in for a penny, better be in for a pound and get the bigger one. For a more portable option I keep four JBL Charges which fit nicely in any backpack, play nice together and I can decide how many to bring on an occasion. Soundboks are the heavy guns, they can be a chore but boy do they get a party going!
They are amazing sounding. To put it into perspective I work as a full time DJ Producer with highest quality speaker and I reckon this can get compared.
Soundboks is a great concept, but can never compare to high end gear, never ever. Terrible sound in comparison to anything. Its only «good» cause its wireless. Imo
I have 2 soundboks 3s and a Soundboks go and the really work well for a mobile system. I played for a birthday party in a basketball gym and 1 soundboks 3 with my soundboks go on top of it filled the gym with sound no problem. The bass was very impressive. Didn't need to add a subwoofer. I love the pro panel with the EQ and mixer . I was able to plug a microphone and it worked seamless. These are definitely a great battery powered option for DJING.
Could you make a video of different portable dj setups? Comparing the pro and cons of them. Like do the tablets offer the same performance as PC? I am using Tidal but sometimes i feel like it loads a bit slow making it a bit stressful :D
£498 is a bit pricey IMO (current price on offer) especially considering that eventually the battery will deteriorate and only has a 3.5 input but it does look good
There is a noticeable delay on it. I tried to like it but the delay made it impossible to beat match. That and the lack of pro outputs made it a no for me. Ended up going MINIRIG and I’ve never been happier
Hey i personally use 2x Teufel Rockster Air`s in a Stereo Set up for Garden and House Party`s i was looking in to the Soundboks Go when it launched but personally for me its missing the Inputs like XLR. The Maximum Soundlevel is pretty impressive but out of my experience i can just say that u are rarely able to blast them on full volume anyway. I would rly like to have a pure Soundcomparions in terms of quality Highs, Mids and also Bass between those 2 Competitors with an Honest Opinion from your hosts. Keep up the work lads
Hi. Recently got a flx4 as I don’t need anything more than that. However I’d like to run this along with my monitors. Can you recommend an external booth box /splitter with volume controls? Many thanks
I have a few big and small Soundboks units but i experience quit a big of latency when i plug my Denon Prime go on the Go. I notice the diffetence between mij wired headphone and what i hear on the go. Is that normal?

What is your opinion about the soundboks go? does it have enough bass?
Soundboks is a great concept, but can never compare to high end gear, never ever. Terrible sound in comparison to anything. Its only «good» cause its wireless. Imo
@@playrs247you can always change the subwoofers and drivers as you wish
I can’t take this as a serious Dj to unless it has XLR inputs
The Soundboks 3 does :)
Bro you are called wireless dj
Definitely needs a preamp as well for the turntable. Real DJs only use vinyl. 🌈

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the battery replaceable / serviceable?
@@nicotri9722 Yes
How this compares to Minirigs 2.2 setup? I think it can be in a same ballpark.
not even close
Better the the jbl 310 tho? Idk man

Dang, that is weird. As the Soundboks 3 does not have any delay.
Do you only have one or several with a soundsystem set up? Had to google MINIRIGs and I'm a bit sceptical those havin enough ummfff for portable DJing
@@prettymigzu I have the minirig 2.1 system and it's good. It's for ultra portable and you want to play for 5 - 10 people.
Zero delay issues on the Soundboks Go with Denon Prime Go output to Aux cord input. Did you update your Go firmware?

Hey, teufel makes it stereo sound?
@@Question_By Sure if you combine them together if I remember correctly u can use up to 16 units together
❤
Hello, i prefer teufel rockster or power hifi
Definitely gonna have to get one
Too expensive
Could I use my Hercules DJ Mix controller to cooect via Bluetooth to that speaker?
What if I connect a boss katana go to the aux that can be my portable 🎸rig😳🤔

can it ship worldwide? from the website it's only available for US shipping
How would you compare this to the Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 Battery-Powered Speaker on the loudness.
Electro Voice is better on all except battery life
@@creepitogamesftw I think the everse 8 will be 5-6 db less loud
I would love one of these but the price is out of my budget :(
Sounds amazing when coupled with the FLOW 8 mixer
Can you do a review of the SBgo and Marshall Tufton?
But does the team up work wirelessly while using the aux in audio input?
Yup works with Bluetooth
Can the speaker charge the iPad?
SUAT style. Lol. Love it
I can’t believe that they don’t have a XLR for Mike’s and a plug-in for guitar
It has a microphone jack???
How would I connect a microphone onto this?
*Needs Xlr Or At Least Balanced Trs inputs Especially At that Price
My SOUNDBOKS GO can’t connect to my turntable and I have an rca to aux and it’s not going through :(
Can you use it with serato which is the best buy soundboks or mackie Thump Go
How about the Watts of this Speaker???
I have a few big and small Soundboks units but i experience quit a big of latency when i plug my Denon Prime go on the Go. I notice the diffetence between mij wired headphone and what i hear on the go. Is that normal?
Did you end up resolving the latency issue - thinking about getting the same combo
No vabbè that intro transition got me hahahahahahaha
Awesome !
Are they made of plastic because I just bought two speakers 500watts but because there plastic they sound terrible
Nice review. Thank you
Thanks for the great review! Can you recommend a speaker stand to go with this?
A Denon Prime Go makes your rig more portable.
if I have a subscription on BPM supreme and download music, do I get the music right to make my own mix and upload it on TH-cam without getting sued?
Can you feel the bass in your diafram
Gen 3 is only good for outdoor party's not to inside dj because it's just mid bass.
Unless you use an eq with mine it has easly deeper bass then even a partybox 310
@nicowank634 partybox 300 sounds good but don't have the volume
SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hello, i would like to offer you a $200 soundboks gift card for $100 only
I am way more interested in quality than I am loud noise.
I would buy this just becuase it goes to 11!!!
hello, i would like to offer you a $200 soundboks gift card for $100 only
Just make it into a backpack 🎒 🤷🏾♂️
Jbl partybox 310 way better less portable though
Sounds like a south african named this.
Not worth the price tag.
For $600 I’ll go with the JBL PartyBox
Way over priced
