Oh Jaclyn, this is SO exciting! My husband and I have a similar story. We’re TN natives and moved from Johnson City to the Nashville area almost 2 years ago. We decided to say “Yes, God” and we agreed to my husbands job before ever knowing where we were going to live. Everything fell into place and just didn’t make sense. We absolutely LOVE Knoxville! We’re now in a new season of waiting but this is so exciting and praying you guys love this new season of life!🩷

Congrats on your move. We sold our home in Atlanta this past May and stayed in an air bnb until our home was complete in Brentwood, TN! I don’t know what took us so long to move away from Atlanta after 20 years but we love it here.

I am kind of in the same situation. My husband is in the military, his contract ends in a year and a half but he will start the separation process in 8 months. We still have no idea if he wants to separate and if we want to move or not. We have decided to just let it work its way out. Whatever is meant to be will show itself.

God also gave me exactly what I had prayed for for 6 yrs. To move out of seattle to idaho. God came thru in a mighty way when the timing was right. In 15 days our home sold and we found our dream home. It was amazing! Almost 2 yrs later and I am still in awe of it all. When God says he will do something he will. But we must have faith. Faith of a mustard seed.

Congratulations on y’all’s new home 🏡 🎉 The Lord’s Will is definitely greater than our own. He provides and guides us for His perfect plan and purpose! On Instagram I guessed that y’all would be moving back to Tennessee. One giveaway was the comment section because your closest friends that live in Tennessee we’re rejoicing and I saw a comment from a friend of y’all’s that I’m assuming is from Atlanta that expressed that y’all would be missed. Also, Jaclyn’s family and friends live in Tennessee so it makes sense! I am from GA but I love Tennessee. I’ve always said that Tennessee feels like home whenever I go visit. i think i am a little confused on the timeline - you said you guys are staying in atlanta half the week for sam to work at his job, and then Tennessee for the other half living with your parents. im curious where you are living for that short time still in atlanta? I’m confused as to why you listed the house before bidding on the house? Why not bid on the house and then if you get it then list your current house before the move to the new build, since you’ll have time to move.

My husband and I have been looking for a house for over a year and every single house we have put an offer on has sold to someone else for lower than our offer was. We just gave up and moved to a 2 bedroom apartment. Did you guys do anything above and beyond or have any tips to get your offer accepted that you can share?
