In Southern Iran We have A lot of Date and Coconut Palms and we make many things from those trees like Alcoholic Drinks, Sugar , Coffee , Syrup, Basket , Distilled Drinks , Compost , Oil ,........ And Anybody in Worm Area of the Eraths knows that how heart Palm is yummy and delicious

I've grown palms allmy mature life, when taken the plastic of to plant tease out the roots before placing in the ground, some fertilser organic should go in the hole.
Isn't it too wet for Date palms there? I mean for the fruit to ripen properly (the palm itself does not care). Even dry places like southern Spain are too wet for proper Date palms

Sorry but it probably won't grow in Assam As it rains sooo much there , if your in part where it doesn't rain much then you can plant it You can grow from store bought date also , see video on how to grow really easy I'm in qatar near my house over 10 big date treees

Also heres a tip, cut the leave stock around 6 cm so the fruits can hang on to the leave where it has been cutten
