Hi Kendra! Not sure if I missed it but can you make a video talking about what caused your heat damage and what you will do differently this time to avoid that? I apply heat to my hair about once a month and my hair is very prone to heat damage.

This came out so beautiful! I'm going to give it a try because I've never done a real braidout before.
The most I've done is air dry my hair in four braids after washing and applying a styling cream, and I always love the way it looks when I take them out, but not enough to just wear it like that. So maybe doing seven braids on each side will be what I need.

I don’t think a braid out is a protective style… the braids are protective but once you take them out, the hair is not protected anymore. I still liked the video and enjoyed seeing you do a different style!

I pull mine up into a “pineapple” & put a scarf around it…
Or you can do a low ponytail with a scarf…

@@TheNenaBrown thank you. I’ve tried this in the past and had to re-braid and add a twisting butter after a few days it helped with the shine but just found it was too much work to do after a couple days…I “refreshed” with less braids though…
