hawkmoon1704 I know I have diversified a little bit, but I promise you the mushroom videos aren’t going anywhere. As we head into the thick of mushroom season now I’m very excited to be making more 😁
I spot almost more mushrooms from the car than when I'm walking around. I work at a Golf Course and find these all the time. My coworkers and I play for the rights to em. Good vid man, nice finds!
Really good video mate. Just sitting here in New Zealand, eating a few field mushrooms we found today and watching your video just to make sure we're eating the right ones :)
Nice Video! Do you notice an anise or almond extract smell on the either the Field or the Horse Mushroom? A close relative of these, (Agaricus Sylvicola / Woodland Mushroom) has a distinct anise or Almond Extract scent. A. Sylvicola turns slightly yellowy over time after being cut, but does not “stain” yellow instantly like the Yellow Stainer. Cheers 🙏🏼
Thanks Ira, actually most of the food in our supermarkets is grown next to some of our busiest roads! In the mushroom kingdom there are a few mushrooms that do accumulate heavy metals and these are definitely worth avoiding if growing next to a road but these are not among them. Thanks for watching 👍
Your mushroom vids are how I found you..my favourite.

This video was what I seen in an ad, that drew me to your channel. I will for sure be watching more.
Thanks!
Aaahhhhh mate, rich pickings there! Very jealous. I have a sudden urge for a mushroom omelette lol 👌
Paul Bazeley mate - you need to get out there! You don’t live far from me, they are everywhere at the moment. 😍
On it mate, getting my bike out for the last weekend of summer and gonna hit some back roads and keep my eyes peeled.... 🤞🤞🤞

Great stuff 👍 just remember to check out any dangerous lookalikes that grow in your area that I might not be aware of 😊
@@SelfSufficientHub haha, will do. So far so good, still alive :) They were delicious. Luckily they are fairly easy to identify.

Thanks! No I don’t but my sense of smell is very poor.
@@SelfSufficientHub Saw that towards the end of the vid where you mentioned that after I had typed this... cheers for your response 🙏🏼🍄
Could you show us the Poisonous versions as well? So we can see the difference
May not want to eat them being that close to the road, rather any that are that CLOSE to the road
