Su vs Jsu in 1995 we stayed in the stands until close to 1 am and lights was off for hours 🤷🏽♂️ we the reason y’all can’t battle long no more 🎉

In 85' lights out against Imitation band JSU and it caused them problems.
It was early season, 3rd game and they were still reading music.

PV always had the right ingredients, musicians and directors to be tier 1 HBCU. This year seems they have accumulated it all to a perfect storm.
Secondly they have always maintained their own style and never took the easy way out and used a Jukebox template for success; therefore they are of their own making and cannot be dubbed a Human Jukebox Imitation Band.
This is refreshing to see. They join the ranks along with Famu, NC A & T, Bethune and Tennessee St as tier 1 HBCU bands that are not Jukebox Imitations living in Southern's shadow.
I enjoy seeing the Jukebox battle bands that are of a totally different style, but are just as talented in every way. The contrast is 100% obvious. Cannot say this when the Jukebox battles bands that are built as, or has transformed into a Jukebox Imitation Band. It's just not as enjoyable.
All in all, this was imo the best head to head match up of the SWAC this season for SU. Imitation bands does not count.

i grew up in baton rouge however there is a misconception.... no band in SWAC is the staple they all have their own sound and arrangements in other words ive heard a lot of people use southern U as a template ignoring the styles of the other bands they are reviewing, although i'm a SU "band" fan, im not gonna use their sound as the template just because to me their style phonically sounds the best. with that being said southern won this lmfao

Why is everybody talking about TOMORROW? Because it is needs to be wrapped up and sent to HEAVEN. Don't mess w/DaBeast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This guy's equipment couldn't capture the brass sound w/o the buzzing & distortion. Sometimes SU's audio fails too, so I always check thru 3 or 4 videos to see which channel has the clearest sound. I have liked other the quality of other AI Media videos.

Kudos to PVAMU for improving since they battled Grambling 2 weeks ago. It was definitely a close one compared to JSU vs ASU. Overall, I would give this to SU with a slight edge. And I’m a SU fan. Good job PVAMU. Keep this up and y’all might surpass JSU

This was a amazing battle. It might be a contender for battle of the year. S.U had better arrangements and precision. P.V sounds much better. I guess they got a few white tee shirt nights in to tighten up. 🤫

PV needs new band directors cuz PV been trash all season but this shows me they being mislead cuz they got it
PV has awesome Directors ... PV graduated over 70 students this summer, which is fantastic, but we all know bad for band. they are building back and still sound great!!

They really got the W on the first two. That drum break on song 2 of SU was not in sync at all.
