Walk the Blue Fields looks great. ❤ I’ve heard amazing things about The Dollhouse. 😊 The Secret History. 🎉 also, the Book of Night Women. And Einstein’s Dreams! Oh goodness. So many books look delightful. ❤
Yes I know it’s like book problems to have so many great choices 🤣 thanks for the votes!
I loved both of those Anne Tyler books, especially Accidental Tourist. I also thought the Orphan Train book was excellent.
Very good votes- thank you! 😊
Some interesting choices! The Accidental Tourist was my favorite book in the year I read it, and made Anne Tyler a favorite novelist. It’s sweet, sad, funny, just so, so good!
That sounds excellent- thank you! 😊
Einstein’s Dreams is beautiful. So is Celestine Prophecy.
Good picks and I will read all these eventually 😊
Before the Coffee is a good one!
Heard lots of good things for that one! 😊
Accidental tourist definitely, Secret History and Forgotten Garden 🙂📚❤️.
Great picks! Thank you much 😊
So many good ones, but I'll pick Orphan Train.
Good pick thank you 😊
The Secret History. Definitely.
Thanks 😊 I had tried to tag you in a video and now I realize there isn’t a “Ed” it’s just the d in your name if that makes sense- I was like - why can’t I tag her?? And of course now I don’t even remember which video that was but know I appreciate you 😊
If we were villains is a hard pass for me. That book was sooo boring. The Tattooist of Auschwitz is really good. I have The Orphan Train, but haven’t read it yet.
Great votes- we could read the orphan train if you didn’t want to buddy read the other one that I just forgot what it is 🤣
The Book of Night Women!! Of course 😂
Also going to through in a vote for Orphan Train. I’ve not read that one but enjoyed another book by Kline.
I mean if you didn’t vote that I’d be upset 🤣 thanks ❤️
I really enjoyed The Secret History, also vote for The Book of Night Women. Hope you enjoy your picks!
Great votes! Those are looking likely ❤️
For YOU I would pick Alaska by James Michener. But I would like you to read (and I think you would enjoy): The Mountain Between Us by Charles Martin. It’s different than the movie.
Runner Up. The Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler.
Solid votes - thanks! 😊
The Tattooist of Auschwitz was heart wrenching and excellent historical fiction. That’s my vote. Freezing our buns off here🥶🥶. How cold is it there?
Good vote! It’s in the 20s- single digits overnight so ice on roads here- no schools. Think it’s colder at my parents in hill country - whole country is too cold this week!
The only one I’ve read is The Underground Railroad. I liked it.
I’m keen to hear a review of Alaska 😃
I really liked James Michener’s Texas so think Alaska will be just as good- like the states they are both chunky! 🤣
I absolutely love Mr Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, read it twice and have a signed copy! I know a lot of people don't like it, though, so I'm a bit nervous about recommending it, but since you already have it... 😁 I'll also give a vote to Before the Coffee Gets Cold and The Secret History, because I'm excited to read those myself.
I don’t even remember where I picked that book up but someone had reviewed it positively that I normally agree with what they liked so will see- all good choices! Thanks 😊
I vote for The Forgotten Garden. It is very atmospheric and has a walled garden, love the setting. The story is also interesting.
Sounds awesome! Thanks 😊
The Husband's Secret is far and away my number one vote from your choices. Number two would be Saturday and number three is The Secret History. It was hard to narrow it down! :)
Heard good things about that liane Moriarty so really am looking forward to finding out- all good picks!
I’m curious about mr penumbras 24 hour bookstore and walk the blue fields so those would be my picks for one and two! The mountain between us is a good one, I really enjoyed it.
Sounds wise picks and a worthy Rec- thank you! 😊
I will vote for Orphan Train and My Husband’s Secret in the hopes of a potential buddy read 😅
Great - love to buddy read again!
