      +rasenganb41 Aside from towns and porzingis who imho will be (super?) stars. this draft possesses a really solid top10 picks, hezonja being the only one who didn't get consistent minutes, really good late lottery picks in Turner, Lyles and Booker, and also a lot of potential steals in Portis, Jefferson and maybe RJ Hunter. Maybe the 2015 draft won't be the best ever, but we will really look back at it in a few years and realize how talent stacked it was.

    offensively he seems to remind me of karl Malone. i'm not saying he's as physically imposing as karl or is on pace to become one of the greatest big men of all time.
    what I mean is that Malone often didn't dribble much to create his shot; he often outran opponents off the ball in transition, and in the half court, got good positioning off the ball first and rarely took more than 1 dribble before shooting. turner has a bit of that in his game.

    • @Liverpoolsuper56
      @Liverpoolsuper56 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +ReCharredSigh remember malone had stockton making those passes too

    • @ReCharredSigh
      @ReCharredSigh 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +jonathan chung i remember; still doesn't take away their similarities, like in the low post; karl malone was known for often facing up and shooting without a dribble after getting a post entry pass. i strongly suggest you relook at some video of karl playing, and you'll see that he didn't just take very little dribbles because stockton was his pg.

    Since you featured Myles Turner, it would be nice if you can also have Nikola Jokic as he and Myles seem to be going under the radar this year. They both have great potential and well-rounded game.

  • @BYSMA4th

    This was the year that revolutionized NBA big men since Dirk... There are so many bigs right now that are really strong, rebound well, play in the post, and can hit outside jumpers. I think they are gonna be the future of the NBA after the guard craze dies down.

    I drafted him at the start of the season in fantasybball, unfortunately got injured, but since the beginning I believed in this guys talent. I only have him in 2 out of my 8 leagues, didn't get him in others because Mahinmi had inconsistent nagging injuries. Sure it does help I have Draymond, Harden, DJ and him in one league at the same time, and he does not hurt you in roto league as well.

    hey coach, when I played ball in high school, I was always taught never to turn my back to the ball while rolling after setting a screen; essentially rolling the direction the ball handler went. How come it seems like Myles Turner as well as every single other NBA big man rolls the opposite way and turn their back to the ball handler? Looking for answer. Thanks!

    He was No1 back in high school for a reason but I think you re wrong about his athleticism, which bodes well for the future, but that hip position and hitch in his giddy up does not scream elite athlete! it is actually dangerous for his alignment and balance for the short term and he needs to be rested instead of fed more minutes for his long term health, he is going to put too much weight on a turned ankle and do serious damage. He is poor physically in my opinion and needs serious work but that will only improve his game, especially above the rim when he has all that power firing from a good set balance, I bet his vertical is mid 20's right now.
