Plus, I didn't know about these at the time. So, I kindly ask you to please stop saying things like these, as I am unable to record dev-only events entirely solo. I believe so, in most cases in core games, startup failure is random and has a certain chance of happening. However in this game, I think the chance increases when you leave the containment shield on for longer (I am not 100% sure though, so don't take my word for it.)

No, the actual self-destruct happens when the core shutdown success, but the core still explodes. (like shutdown success but timer keep going and boom)

Yes, there did used to be a freezedown in ACG. Maybe they though it was unrealistic. To me, adding a freezedown adds more fun and things to do in the game.

Btw the e coolant valves is not needed to shut the core down, the e coolant is for when pressing the button to instantly cool the core down
