When I was in Florida I went to Sephora for the first time and it was amazing, I picked up the Kat Von D foundation, yeah I know shoot me lol, it’s a FULL coverage foundation but it’s beautiful, I understand if u wouldn’t want to test it out on ur channel because I seen the comments on ur video about the eyebrow products, I also got a mini of the concealer and setting powder and I was really impressed, it doesn’t dry my under eyes, if u haven’t tried them I’d defo recommend
I love watching you read the companies' product blurbs! Mainly coz I have the same reactions. As for the foundation, wow, what a nice surprise. This might be the first Nyx foundation to really tempt me... nice finish, pretty good performance and seems like a great undertone (not the dreaded orange "pink"). Be interesting to see how long it takes for us to get it here, and what they'll charge us... typically their foundations are $25-30 here (which is equal to about US$17-21), that's pretty much Maybelline/Loreal type prices - our "drug store pricing".

I love this and have 2 shades as well. Hey Shelly, after watching all your videos I decided to buy the Elf foundation brush u always use. Mine is CONSTANTLY SHEDDING! Did I get a bad one?? Does yours do this? It doesn't seem it when u use it on camera. It's so annoying. Thnx for another foundation review.
It doesn't glow for me at all. It also settled into every line, & flakes I didn't know existed. I exfoliated & moisturized & sunscreened beforehand too. O well.

Love the review! Thanks so much. I'm a full coverage EL Doublewear girl but there is just something about the finish of this foundation that I love. I've been using it with Rimmel Stay Matte primer and I've been able to get a good 10 - 12 hours wear with this and still have the radiant finish.

This might be a great one for me! There is actually a cool tone shade that looks cool and not peach! CYO 01, s a good shade match for me. The second, NYX swatch, looks comparable to CYO, on my screen.
I thought the same! I hate those supposedly cool pink foundations that are actually warm peachy-orange! Also good, because we here will probably eventually get the Nyx one, whereas neither the CYO or the Soap&Glory dupe are available here (nor will the US & UK retailers ship internationally to us here).
I love the NYX foundation, in my opinion is very similar to the ABH Luminous foundation, just cheaper, so they're both in my rotation... I guess there will be no need to repurchase the ABH one 😉... hugzzz!

It’s a sign alt-right, neo-naz¡ and naz¡ sympathizing white supremacists use that means “white power”. I feel like that’s worse then it being a gang sign. I’ve got to try it especially since the colder months are approaching. During the Summer I like using matte sunscreens and foundations but we all know how cold and drying the Winters are, so I need something affordable, glowing and looks good on the skin. I found some statistic a little while ago (that of course now I can't find again) that when you take out the people that only have dry skin in the winter, we're something like less than 1 in 5 of the population that are dry skinned year round. Oy!

Out of curiosity, do you retest foundations in the seasons opposite the ones you filmed reviews in? This foundation seems like a no-brainer for winter, for those of us like you and I that actually have winter. I wonder if the ones that fail because of things like over-hydration, or whatever, are better suited to the dry and cold we get while the more drying ones are better for sweaty summers.

Hi Raphael! I've been vegan here and there over the years. Someday I will commit fully. I don't cook right now so maintaining a balanced vegan diet without eggs or cheese is a struggle at best, nutritionally deficient at worst. I do, however, only eat eggs raised locally (local farm at the market) and cheese from Ireland (far less abusive in terms of factory farming, though there's a whole nother issue of the environmental impact of importing the product... but I can only dedicate my life to so many causes, and right now, this is what I am doing).
@@goow that's pretty swell, Shelly, that you know and care about the environmental, health and ethical factors of living a vegan lifestyle, especially when it comes to food mainly but also the entertainment and personal hygiene, skin care, makeup, cleaning supplies and even animal welfare and animal testing. I know so and feel the same way because I've been an ethical vegan for over four years - will be five years on September 5 this year and everyday that I live a vegan lifestyle fully, unregretably and joyfully I feel very amazing because I'm saving a lot of animals and because I'm making the environment better. Plus health-wise, I was diagnosed with ADHD in 99 as a seven year old boy and took medications for it for 16 years before my transition to veganism and since veganism my mental focus has been tremendously on the rise so much so that for the last four plus years I haven't touch a single pill lol. This is going to sound bar shit crazy coming from me, but I haven't been super interested in foundation as of late. I have fallen so majorly hard for the new Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless as well as the Lancome Skin Feels Good that I don't know that I need to keep searching. I'm sure eventually the bug will get me going again, but for the moment I am absolutely content. I'm even considering purging my massive foundation collection as I haven't reached for anything else but those two for weeks now. (I can't believe I just said that. Seriously who am I?) 😬

Finally a foundation that isn’t aimed at oily skin. It’s quite annoying that the large majority of foundations are always for oily skin. Yes, we get it, most people have oily or combination skin, but there’s many others that have dry skin and there such a low selection, especially at the drugstore!!! Thanks for the review!!!

You know how most foundations typically wear off throughout the day in certain places, like on and around the nose and also the chin? Have you found a particular primer that can be used in those two places that keeps the makeup on longer? Oh, and what usually helps smooth the texture between your eyebrows? I find that I usually have to mix a couple of shades to get my shade match, I'm a redhead with dry, fair skin. Right now I have been mixing the Smashbox 24 hour hydrating foundation in shade 0.3 with this Nyx BTG in shade 6.5 nude.
I saw an application tip on another site I would love to see you try. After your primer and before your foundation powder your nose and chin. Since your chin seems to loose coverage 1st hoping this would help to keep coverage.

I’ve got to try it especially since the colder months are approaching. During the Summer I like using matte sunscreens and foundations but we all know how cold and drying the Winters are, so I need something affordable, glowing and looks good on the skin. I found some statistic a little while ago (that of course now I can't find again) that when you take out the people that only have dry skin in the winter, we're something like less than 1 in 5 of the population that are dry skinned year round. Oy!

Out of curiosity, do you retest foundations in the seasons opposite the ones you filmed reviews in? This foundation seems like a no-brainer for winter, for those of us like you and I that actually have winter. I wonder if the ones that fail because of things like over-hydration, or whatever, are better suited to the dry and cold we get while the more drying ones are better for sweaty summers.
I wanted to try this but the shades online at ulta looked so odd I just moved along lol. I just got the stellar limitless foundation bc it's only $19 at sephora I'm really trying to do a no buy and use up the makeup I have.
They are a bit odd! I was surprised how light this one was.

Hi Raphael! I've been vegan here and there over the years. Someday I will commit fully. I don't cook right now so maintaining a balanced vegan diet without eggs or cheese is a struggle at best, nutritionally deficient at worst. I do, however, only eat eggs raised locally (local farm at the market) and cheese from Ireland (far less abusive in terms of factory farming, though there's a whole nother issue of the environmental impact of importing the product... but I can only dedicate my life to so many causes, and right now, this is what I am doing).

I know so and feel the same way because I've been an ethical vegan for over four years - will be five years on September 5 this year and everyday that I live a vegan lifestyle fully, unregretably and joyfully I feel very amazing because I'm saving a lot of animals and because I'm making the environment better. People may say that its very difficult to find vegan alternatives to animal food products, animal-derived and animal tested cleaning products, personal hygiene, feminine personal products like makeup and even clothing but the truth is that there are more and more vegan products from all industries on e-commerce sites and big box retail and even smaller retail these days even more than it was in the 70s and 80s and even in the 90s. This is going to sound bar shit crazy coming from me, but I haven't been super interested in foundation as of late. I have fallen so majorly hard for the new Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless as well as the Lancome Skin Feels Good that I don't know that I need to keep searching. I'm sure eventually the bug will get me going again, but for the moment I am absolutely content. I'm even considering purging my massive foundation collection as I haven't reached for anything else but those two for weeks now. (I can't believe I just said that. Seriously who am I?) 😬

Yes, we get it, most people have oily or combination skin, but there’s many others that have dry skin and there such a low selection, especially at the drugstore!!!

You know how most foundations typically wear off throughout the day in certain places, like on and around the nose and also the chin? I find that I usually have to mix a couple of shades to get my shade match, I'm a redhead with dry, fair skin. Right now I have been mixing the Smashbox 24 hour hydrating foundation in shade 0.3 with this Nyx BTG in shade 6.5 nude.
I saw an application tip on another site I would love to see you try. After your primer and before your foundation powder your nose and chin. Since your chin seems to loose coverage 1st hoping this would help to keep coverage.
