Brands should offer a shade range blister pack for sale. So many would pay $10 for a narrow range for assurance, thus guaranteed higher online purchases.
Hands down the best foundation this year for me is L'oreal Age Perfect. It's great for Summer and Winter and the price is fantastic. I'll likely use it forever!

The Milk stick and the Loreal are my two favorites this year. The milk is my everyday grab and go. My skin loves it. I have dry dry skin that does not like thick makeup. Bought the Loreal because of you. Beautiful.
Dior Backstage foundation was nothing short of life-changing for my 50 year-old skin. Now I feel validated to see it in your top spot 😜

Thats my die hard favorite. I love their whole line. I got samples of the cleanser and moisturizer with purchase when i bought it online from Kohls (of all places). and if you use all of them together, its even better. i will buy full size when they run out. totally impressed.

I got the Purito Cica foundation. I found it on Amazon. I love it. The color doesnt match, i was amazed at how neutral almost grey against my skin. pure neutral undertone. so if someone needs that, this is absolutely the way to go. i mixed it with one that was a tad too dark and it became the best match ever and it is sooo good. Thank you for the recommendation. Im stoked.
My skin just loves the Purito!!
I have very dry skin and I was shocked at how awesome the YSL looks on my skin. It is beautiful and one of the very few foundations that actually look good on my nose upon first application! Definately worth the price in my opinion!!!

Hello Shelly, world here. Mac face and body is the awesomest weirdest most fabulous foundation 😁. Also, I know how you feel wanting to SEE all your makeup... I couldn’t bear to stick all those beautiful pallets and bottles in drawers anymore, so I got a glass curio cabinet, and it is so satisfying to see it all, in its sparkly shiny glory. You might like them, they also keep the bottles dust free and you can add lights too. Thanks for the reviews and stay healthy

As someone who only wears foundation, concealer and blush my favorite videos are foundation related so I loved this one. Little sad that my favorite La Mer fluid foundation didn’t make the list again but I understand we are all different in what our skin needs to look it’s best & I also love your # 1 pick. In my view, foundations are like any other makeup! You need options because sometimes you want light coverage, sometimes full. Sometimes you want natural, sometimes dewy, sometimes matte! Sometimes you want everyday, sometimes full glam! Different coverages and finishes are hard to pull off with just one foundation :) So if you ever need to rationalize having 10, there ya go! 😂

Same. I’m half Vietnamese and I have a tricky time finding the right shade all the time. I’m 40 and I’m STILL looking for my holy grail 😬😭
@@darkdemonqueen well, I'm 50% Thai/Cambodian/Vietnamese, and Norwegian/Swedish with freckles. Color matching is a nightmare, I tend to select neutral with beige/peach undertones as warm/yellow looks bad over my freckles. Best matches atm are N3 MAC Face and Body, #23 in Purito and G8 in Glossier skin tint. 😊

I just bought Mac face and body based on your raves and im in LOVE! Im pretty darn hard to impress with foundations but this baby feels like a moisturizer AND it makes me look airbrushed cause it covers and blurs everything.. How did i live without it all these years?! Thank u a million times! ❤️

I think we are probably skin twins. I'm wondering if you've tried the Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Skin Foundation? I tried a little sample, and after one use, I think I might like it, but need to find a better color match. I hesitate to drop fifty bucks, though, if I'm not really sure. I'd love your thoughts.
Hi Karen!!! I haven't done a full video on it, but I love the MUFE Matte Velvet!! It moved straight to my purse as my on-the-go touch-up powder. I wear R230 and I can get away with it year-round (probably a smidge too dark when I'm the palest of the pale but most of the year it works).

Love MAC Face and Body as well, but N1 is still too dark for me, so I mix it with White 1:1
I'm also a fan of Estee Lauder's Futurist but it's just so expensive. The one from L'oreal is a good dupe for it but has much more coverage. They wear the same and the finish is the same. The price difference is crazy!
It's wild how good some of the less expensive foundations have gotten!

hi, really like your videos..I wanted to mention that both the Dior foundations you mentioned contain alcohol in the top ingredients..same with Chanel and some Lancome.;.I dont think it is the best to wear a foundation with alcohol when you have dry skin..it puzzles me as why they do that!

I came back to comment. I bought the Loreal age perfect powder. I really hesitated. My skin hates powder. Do I really need another powder sitting there? I am 48 and have dry dry skin, Oh my goodness. You were right. I wore it by itself at first. No concealer or foundation. Just packed it on and buffed like I would It powder. Wow, just beautiful. My skin glowed. Color is perfect. It is so much lighter than others. I threw my It powder in the trash, it was too thick and the color is always too dark. I was amazed. Thanks!

2. Clarins cushion (discontinued)
3. Mac face and body (old formula)
4. Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (old formula)
I’m now looking for a good every day foundation. I gave up on full coverage foundations because everything seems to cling to my skin patches. Can you or the viewers recommend your holy grail foundations for very dry skin? Thank you very much.
I have dry acne prone skin and unfortunately the L'oreal Age Perfect pulls texture on my chin (problem area for me) and breaks me out. Looking forward to trying the MAC face and body. I have heard nothing but rave reviews and I am so excited to try it!

Loved your video. It brightened my day.I have dry sensitive exzema skin . I use vegan organic skincare so would rather use same as foundations. Found a brilliant one recently Body shop tinted moisturiser and foundation are cruelty free and vegan and brilliant on my skin. Their powder is fab too .

PMG can do no wrong with eyeshadows!!! Considering when I sat down I couldn't decide if I wanted glam, grunge, or Christmas, and this eyeshadow is what happened.... and it still works! That's 100% the genius of PMG color curation!

Love, love, love the L'Oreal Age Perfect foundation. I started out with shade #35 which was a bit too warm/yellow for me, even during the summer. I then purchased shade #20 which turned out to be perfect for my skintone. Love the blush too and want to try the pressed powder as well. :) I'm also impressed that it made it to #2 on your list!

oh man I must save $ to try out that dior foundation! Edit: my current fave is the MAC face and body N1 bc of ur rec (thank U!!!!)....it’s just so beautiful on my dry flakey skin, I really can’t get any other foundation to look as good as that tbh. 😊 excited to try the Dior!

Ma daughter 24 and me 50 watching this video we have quite different complexions as do we with you but we also have a few things in common with you and we had so much fun giving our thoughts on your pics and we both thought your #1 would be Dior!! I haven't tried the Dior primer yet but I was noticing it on Sephora's web site the other day (they're having a huge sale... it's not on sale but I got some other stuff! Code MAJORSALE for an extra 20% off their sale items :)

Have you ever tried " Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation" ? I find this to be a fantastic and underrated drugstore foundation...it has texture blurring abilities and works beautifully over dry patches,pores and texture...I'd love for you to try this foundation and do a review on it !! 🙂
I noticed that you never mention the No7 foundations....some people have compared those to the IT cosmetics and EL Hydra futurist .... your thoughts?
Hi Anne! I love the No 7 drops, but so far of their foundations that I've tried, they all test in the B range on me, which is wearable but doesn't make it high enough on my list to be a favorite.
