Love this foundation/ hydrator. I have 56 year old dry skin and as long as I use spf, moisturize and prime first this stuff is the best looking foundation/ tint I have ever used....and it's inexpensive as well!! Thanks so much for your review. I'm loving the wet and wild!

Yep. Even saying 'wet n wild' weirds me out... people don't pay attention to the gross subliminal names in makeup (and many other) brands. My mom got a mini clothing iron called 'hot to trot' and her and I cringed together.

Fortunately they are still in pristine condition, no deterioration at all☺ (Only open 1 when another is used up) Anyway, time to give WetnWlld a chance in the new skin tint, but must order it in 2 colors---to ensure a good shade match👍🏼😎

It's a prescription skin care subscription. My prescription is for tretinoin (prescription retinol). I've been using it for a little over a year now and love it! I did over-the-counter retinols for several years before this too, so you don't necessarily need prescription strength to see results. I'm a huge fan of retinols in skin care in general. They've helped my skin so much!
It's nice coverage! You can wear it anywhere from light to a light medium if you build it up. I love this one so much! I bought another shade for summer :)

I would call them VERY similar, with the Age Perfect just a little bit more dewy. If I had to pick only one, I'd probably lean WnW due to the shade match being a smidge better on me and that they're cruelty free (I know that had some drama last year but I've concluded that I still consider them CF).
Jen Phelps here on YT did a review on the Milani Tint & she didn't like it at all, she said it felt just like Vaseline. Isn't it cool how different people can have total different opinions.

I actually bought that foundation at 5 below a few days ago, I was excited when I saw it lol anyway since I got it I haven’t been able to put it down I love everything about it. It’s lightweight, good coverage , beautiful finish, and blurs imperfections making my face look flawless. The only downside I will say is the shade range, I have to mix two colors to get my match and even then it’s not the perfect match but it’s ok for $5 and for everything else I mentioned I really can’t complain 😅👍🏼 I want to try the concealer next!

Hi Shelley here's hoping the shade lighter is pretty light and if so I'll be happy to try it (even if it needs a bit of white mixer that's not a major problem), as it looks great. Also it won't be super expensive to try - which is always a bonus. I'm ok with light coverage as that's what concealer is for, to amp up coverage in targeted areas (rosacea here). It's nice to see a new A and is definitely worth a try for dry skin. I think as so many of us are home so much more (therefore not needing so much flawless coverage), tinted moisturisers etc are in demand for a more minimal makeup look. That could be why we're seeing so many being released - just a thought. Best wishes.

I feel the same way about Mac face and body! I don't like using my fingers to spread it, but I do pat it onto my face with fingers then use a brush. I can totally feel the texture change and get thicker under the brush with that method!

What an interesting "game" but not something you play on a whim.
It's so fun but yes, definitely work! I spent a month writing the backstory to my current character and this campaign is scheduled to run for a year :-D but I love it!!

I know it’s over two years old-but thank you for this video! It basically answered every question I had about this!❤️ I am definitely in the “late bloomer” club and currently trying to catch up with the rest of the class, in regards to learning how to take proper care of my skin and put makeup on it (without it looking like a caky nightmare and/or melting off my face immediately). I don’t know why 37 was the _”magic number”_ that suddenly lit a fire under my butt about figuring out my skin (like a “proper/normal” functioning adult)… But here we are! So far, doing _actual_ makeup has just been a massive bust for me-it’s….it’s a work in progress. 😂 But I recently ran across these tinted moisturizers at the store and I think they might just be the perfect solution I’m looking for! 🤞❤

I think they learned a lesson after the original Photo Focus smelling like literal paint! The dewy one does not have that same scent, and this one has even less of any kind of scent. Hoooo boy that original one though - it was really like having a can of paint thinner next to the vanity.

It was so interesting listening to you talk about the benefits of squalene. Pretty sure the Elf Holy Hydration moisturizer has that ingredient. I've been using it for several months now and MAN what a positive difference it's made in my 45 yo aging dry skin! Maybe that ingredient is the key?
I tried this, recommended as a dupe for the Tarte Maracuja Tinted Moisturizer & really liked it - better than the Tarte - but the color was a bit too dark/yellow. I got the light/medium because reviews said the light was yellower (??) than that one (I’m normally light, fair/light. I have cool undertones but have recently discovered that neutral undertoned makeup works best for me, most often. Cool is almost always too pink) 🤷🏻♀️ Because it’s so affordable, I think I’m going to try a couple of other shades and see if I can find a match. Thanks for the review!!

I've never been a fan of Wet n Wild's foundations but this one is intriguing. I really like how smooth it looks on your skin and the wear time is awesome! And maybe because this one doesn't smell like latex paint, I may give it a try. :D Love the eye look today. I've often used bronzers and highlighters as eyeshadow. I wonder if the Big Poppa name is supposed to hint at being a dupe for L'ancome's Monsieur Big mascara. :)
It's going to take a long time for WnW to outlive that horrific paint thinner smell from the original Photo Focus!!! My (younger than me) cousin said that the Big Poppa name and the crown are a nod to the Notorious BIG (but I would have never guessed that as I am totally out of the loop on hip hop and rap music).

This tinted hydrating moisturizer works on my almost 64 year old skin.. but I agree... they need to expand the color range!

Thank you so much for your thorough wear tests! Totally off subject, my son is trying to get a family D&D game going, I've been trying to build my character. This is quite a bit of work. What an interesting "game" but not something you play on a whim.
It's so fun but yes, definitely work! I spent a month writing the backstory to my current character and this campaign is scheduled to run for a year :-D but I love it!!

I am definitely in the “late bloomer” club and currently trying to catch up with the rest of the class, in regards to learning how to take proper care of my skin and put makeup on it (without it looking like a caky nightmare and/or melting off my face immediately).
I don’t know why 37 was the _”magic number”_ that suddenly lit a fire under my butt about figuring out my skin (like a “proper/normal” functioning adult)…
But here we are!
So far, doing _actual_ makeup has just been a massive bust for me-it’s….it’s a work in progress. 😂
But I recently ran across these tinted moisturizers at the store and I think they might just be the perfect solution I’m looking for!

@@goow my hypothesis is that after we cross the “halfway point” of our 30’s and are now staring down the barrel of “40”…we start to subconsciously evaluate things on our face more.
Or maybe it’s just because of the dreaded “second puberty” wall that most of us hit in our 30’s.

I am not a fan of wet n wild foundations, mostly because of the paint smell of the last one I bought. However, I am definitely gonna pick up this one. Thanks for the review because I would have never even given this one a second look. 🤩👍
I think they learned a lesson after the original Photo Focus smelling like literal paint! The dewy one does not have that same scent, and this one has even less of any kind of scent. Hoooo boy that original one though - it was really like having a can of paint thinner next to the vanity.
I'm so glad that I came across this video, it's so helpful! I'm... ghostly pale, and haven't ever found a BB cream that I can wear but this one looks like it might be a good fit in the lightest shade. I also want to say that you're a joy to watch!

It was so interesting listening to you talk about the benefits of squalene. Pretty sure the Elf Holy Hydration moisturizer has that ingredient. I've been using it for several months now and MAN what a positive difference it's made in my 45 yo aging dry skin! Maybe that ingredient is the key?
It's pretty much my favorite ingredient to see - I wouldn't be surprised!!

I tried this, recommended as a dupe for the Tarte Maracuja Tinted Moisturizer & really liked it - better than the Tarte - but the color was a bit too dark/yellow. I got the light/medium because reviews said the light was yellower (??) than that one (I’m normally light, fair/light. I have cool undertones but have recently discovered that neutral undertoned makeup works best for me, most often. Cool is almost always too pink) 🤷🏻♀️
Because it’s so affordable, I think I’m going to try a couple of other shades and see if I can find a match. Thanks for the review!!

Edited to add: I've used Murad products for over 15 years mostly the Resurgence line, but I think I'll try this prebiotic spray since I'm letting you be my skincare guru for now. Too much on my feeble mind to study skincare now + I trust you + I have slightly dry2 normal uncomplicated skin. Will catch up on all the facts later. (20 years ago I was so gung ho on learning all I could, but brain is tired these days)

I've never been a fan of Wet n Wild's foundations but this one is intriguing. I really like how smooth it looks on your skin and the wear time is awesome! And maybe because this one doesn't smell like latex paint, I may give it a try. :D Love the eye look today. I've often used bronzers and highlighters as eyeshadow. I wonder if the Big Poppa name is supposed to hint at being a dupe for L'ancome's Monsieur Big mascara. :)
It's going to take a long time for WnW to outlive that horrific paint thinner smell from the original Photo Focus!!! My (younger than me) cousin said that the Big Poppa name and the crown are a nod to the Notorious BIG (but I would have never guessed that as I am totally out of the loop on hip hop and rap music).

So , skin why...awhile back in you had mentioned a primer in a dark dark pink- purplish red that was one of the most effective primer you had found in your use of cosmetics. I'm a number of years ahead of you, and things are going hill fast! Was the Murad primer you mention here the one u were referring to, or was it was it a Strivectin product? Thnx if u could point 👉 me in the right direction.
