      Thanks, Layla, for responding. I have one folder that houses all my client and product data. I am using relationships and roll-ups to connect to that data, which as I said is in a different folder. In short, the relationships and roll-ups are lost when I duplicate or save the space as a template. After all my investigation, I believe I reached a dead-end. On a side note, I am checking out your memberships. I will work on getting approval for the cost. Thank you for bringing order to the world...

    I use rollup for MY CRM for my government contracting Consulting business. It come in real useful. I also use it to manage my account and when things need to get paid. I am currently working on creating a 2nd brain in ClickUp like I see people use in Notion. I love your videos. Very helpful keep up the excellent work 👏🏿.

    I love this function. It's been extremely helpful for my smaller nonprofits clients who need a donor database to relate to gifts given and amount.

    I'm a photographer and I sell to stock agencies. I've been using Clickup as a stock management solution for a while now and have just recently added a table for sales, which links as a relationship to my stock table. I spent all day looking for a way to display the calculated total revenue as a field in my stock table and just stumbled upon Rollups. I now have all my sales totals neatly in a column in my stock table..... HOWEVER! ... I can't seem to be able to sort by this rollup column. When I do, my rollup column of sales figures appear to be in some kind of random order. (all other sorts were cleared) Any ideas?

    Hi, Layla. I'm a huge fan. I've watched most of your videos to help me on my Click-Up journey. Quick or maybe not quick question....Is there a way to keep my Relationships and Roll-ups from disappearing when I duplicate a Space or save a Space as a template? I've spent a ton of time creating the Relationships and Rollups, but they seem to not carry over. Thanks!

      I'm glad this was helpful! This would be an excellent question to ask inside of the ProcessDriven Collective, our free Facebook group! There are people from all over the world in there sharing their experiences and giving advice and tutorials. I think you'll really enjoy it! Here's the link to jump in: processdriven.co/group

    Hello Layla. Thanks for your videos. I learned a lot with you for using ClickUp. I am also using Rollups, which I find very useful, but I also would like to filter and/or sort on list views, using the rollup fields. Is it possible? Or is there another way to do it? Thanks

    • @LaylaPomper
      @LaylaPomper  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey VB! It's not currently possible to Filter, Sort, or Group based on relational data in ClickUp. 😢 I'd love to see that be a feature in the future, though, so be sure to upvote or submit it on their feedback board: clickup.canny.io/.
      For now, the only workaround is to use Custom Fields like a Label or Dropdown in lieu of relationships. Bummer, I know!

    I imagine the answer to this question is a hard NO, but is there any way to have a rollup column based on a custom field? and not just the default task fields like status, etc. I'm trying to show a formula or rollup or SUM() of the "money" field of linked tasks in another task. Not sure this is possible... I can rollup time tracked,status, etc but cannot show totals of other fields

      You are correct! This would be a great feature request though. I'd recommend putting a request in to ClickUp and share the request so people can upvote it!

    Hi Layla! I've just started using ClickUp at my new job, and there is one thing I absolutely HATE, and that is - When I change MY personal view of a space (lets say I prefer to see all the tasks as by Assignee), it automatically changes everyone's in the groups view on their separate computers. Is there anyway to change this? We are all logged in as ourselves. I use Asana at my previous job and this didn't happen so I'm HOPING there is a way to change this. Please and thank you!

      Use the "Me" option or save a view that only you can see. :)

    can the rollup fields inherit the same dropdown colours as the source? That's how it works in Monday. I've tried in clickup, and they just come up very plain.

    • @LaylaPomper
      @LaylaPomper  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can update the dropdown colors inside the custom fields within ClickUp. You just need to edit the custom field and apply a color.

      Hi, there!
      Filtering by a Rollup is a feature request in ClickUp's Canny Page.
      Feel free to leave a vote and comment on how you would like to use this feature in ClickUp: clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/sort-group-filter-rollup-fields

    Relationships: check. Rollups: check. Now, how can I get the Rollup email field to work in an automated email?

    • @LaylaPomper
      @LaylaPomper  ปีที่แล้ว

      At this point? By begging ClickUp to update this feature. 🫣 It’s currently not possible.

      @@LaylaPomper Thank you. Any suggestions how I can automagically copy and paste that info into an Email field?
