After my sisters family moved back to town. I thought of getting a tiny house. They build some small houses by the river by me they look cool. They are not built on a trailer just a very small house. Interesting idea 🤔

Good discussion. Tiny homes do have advantages. The low heat and cooling bills will be helpful. You brought up a good point about being debt free too.

There’s absolutely nothing like being debt free 😊 our home is paid off so we are enjoying it
Don’t think we could handle a tiny home full time

Love it ya’ll! We actually bought a tiny house shell from the Amish that I can’t wait to start working on. For us the main kitchen, bathroom, and wash house will be outside of the primary tiny house

I think living in a tiny house is a life style. We moved - downsized into an apartment. Halved our living space so also decluttered and undid ourselves from lots of belongings. Felt so liberating.
Right now we are on the road staying in various BnBs. Videos soon 😂😂! Some are small - almost tiny house style some are larger than our home. Gives us insights into what’s also possible.
I guess mobile home owners were forerunners of the new Tiny Home brigade. Started from a necessity due to housing shortages. Looking historically - think to the series The Waltons or Little house on the Prairie. Big families small homes. Great topic though. Makes people think. Have a great week. ❤ 🇳🇱🙋‍♀️🥝

It’s definitely a lifestyle. Seems to be all the craze right now. Not sure we could do it but you never know unless you have no choice. It’s amazing what you can do if you have to.

Being alone, a tiny home would be perfect. But I would need to have one with a separate bedroom and not a loft!! Have watched plenty of shows. I've heard that if a tiny home is built on a trailer that it doesn't need to follow certain building codes as a home built on site. I see that there are many on Airbnb, so if one is considering, maybe it would be a good thing to rent for a week or so first.

That’s an excellent idea! If you have a hard time living in one for a short time then you know for sure tiny living is not for you. Great point!

If it's down to just 2 people, a tiny house can save you big money in many areas of finances.. You can be happier living a scaled down simple life with less clutter.

I love to watch the show too, but I couldn't live in one. My makeup alone wouldn't fit in there! 😆 Seriously, I couldn't do it. First, I am sure my son will be living with us for as long as he can. It would be difficult for us. I am happy with our home right now. It's not huge but it's good for us.
