The infinite symbol is a sign of The Voracity specifically of Oroboros (who in HI3rd there is a character Mobius known as the Infinite Ouroboros). On the scene with the hand and the ichor flowing from it to the left of the hand is what to me looks like a massive whale skeleton which could be the deceased corpse of Oroboros since the Voracity went missing in the past and recording the whereabouts of a deceased Aeon seems like something multiple factions would be very interested in. So perhaps this aeon (dead or alive) is responsible for the events currently happening in Amphoreus similar to how gods in Genshin tend to have after effects when they die or change.
Nah the infinity just means that this world "memory bubble" is on repeat aka a "Simulated World" which is WHY Madam Herta will be coming with us Aka. it's just a dream 2.0 all over again We as the MC will be able to finally break that loop
An old theory for hsr I remember was the entire story has already been played out with the exclusion of the mc and it’s now getting played back with the inclusion of this new character (fuli glass break for combat explanation) and I wonder if the same thing is going to happen in amphoreus it could be stuck in a loop in the garden of recollection , a world that exists solely in a mirror in the garden of recollection
Amazing Video! It is possible that Elysia doesn't have a portrait since there are only 12 images and usually it's 13 Flamechasers (or Elysia and her 12 Disciples), although that is just speculation from what we know about the HI3rd Flamechasers so maybe there are only 12 - especially since we know that General Hua is a person so they might just be skipping her counterpart. Mem being linked to Elysia would make sense since from the Trailblazer's post it says, "Mem, they will record the adventures and stories they experience in Amphoreus." - which was the exact same role as ELF Elysia had with the typewriter in Elysium Everlasting. Just saying if the Trailblazer or Mem unconsciously write "Phainon is dead!" or "Cyrene is dead" like in Elysium Everlasting, I will freak out.
There's a theory that we might get a Senti counterpart instead of Hua for the red silhouette girl, but yeah i think it's unlikely unless they release Marshal Hua first. Ain't no way they would introduce Senti first before Hua.
@ Yeah I heard people were saying that too, it could happen but honestly the silhouette looks like March or even Mobius since it’s kinda doing her iconic pose
I have heard theory that Amphoreus exists as a piece of memory only. This idea could explain why Castorice exists to deliver something like an eternal sleep, maybe referring to death or "nihilation" of any form of existence, including the form of a memory (which seems to connect to Acheron's memory loss). Castorice's association with River Styx makes me think that she might play a role similar to Acheron's in Penacony, bringing an end to things per se or freeing people from their dreams, or memories. So the fact that everyone is already dead might in fact be true, and only their memories remain. I think the heavenly painting also gives "they are all gone and in a different world" vibe. I also think that "outlanders from faraway realms" and the train imagery is referring to the Express, with the figure being Sunday. The specific phrase "faraway realms" is interesting to me because in the HSR world where everything is measured by planets/galaxies, "realms" suggest that Amphoreus exists in somewhat of a different realm, outside of the normal notion of a universe. This echoes the idea that Amphoreus may be a piece of memory and not an an actual place, or that we have a paralleled universe situation. Giving the fact that Sunday is there, however, I think it makes more sense for Amphoreus to exists as a memory construct, kind of like a dream, and Sunday is there to realize and actual be convinced that "we will all one day awake from our dreams." So Sunday is there to really "save" people from an unrealistic construct/memory. And maybe this is somewhat connected to bringing Enna back? Just letting my brain run loose here. One thought I have on the March 7th holding the chess piece - March is known to be association with Remembrance. It makes me think that maybe the battle might have something to do with Remembrance, aka the idea that Amphoreus is somewhat connected to memories. The fact that Elysian says this is a "romantic story" kind of suggest that she might have something to do with creating Amphoreus, echoing her lore in HI3, perhaps by turning it into a permanent form of memory...? Again, connection with March's Remembrance past. Last thought about Kevin - Based on his similarity with Sunday and his lore in HI3, he might have a role of trying to save/preserve Amphoreus but could not until the Nameless arrives, kind of like how Sunday tries to "save" Penacony in his own ways. All in all very exited about this new chapter of HSR and more lore being unraveled. I really enjoy your videos and the time you put into investigating/learning all the aspects of HSR. Big fan here :D
Hyacine's part is a ref to Astraea, who is said to have left earth because people were corrupted. She would return and bring back Utopia in the future, so rebuild the realm and mend the sky. Astraea is Venus, that's why she's sever the morning and evening.
I imagine Castorice is named after the dead twin from the Dioscuri. Castor and Pollux alternate spending time on Olympus and Hades, so a daughter of the River Styx being named after a demi-god who spends half his time near the river Styx seems fitting to me? So now I wonder if she has a twin/sibling somewhere.
My theory for this is that both Himeko and Ratio are descendants of people that escaped the doom of Amphoreus before it happened (Kinda like Daenerys' ancestors escaped Valarya in ASOIAF) and their robes are family heirlooms.
Ah, the infinity marking how they're in a timeloop as a result of Fuli trying to keep the memory of the planet alive. That makes sense. Personally, with how pronounced the infinity symbol was I didn't even consider that and was thinking that a Mobius Expy is somehow involved in the story.
An amphor is originally a ceramic jar from ancient Greek that was used store food/drink for extended periods of time. I'm guessing that Amphoreus is actually just a giant memory, a dead world which, like you mentioned, could have something tot do with order > nihility, which is why the past TB didn't go there. The summons, memosprites, are "containers" of memories left from the owners. Mem, the memosprite that the RMC will use, is probably the memories of the pink "Elysia espy" from the trailer that will guide the MC to properly record their history(an epic poem/odyssey) so that they aren't forgotten. 10:58 Also, my theory is that both Himeko and Ratio are descendants of people that escaped the doom of Amphoreus before it happened (Kinda like Daenerys' ancestors escaped Valarya in ASOIAF) and their robes are family heirlooms. 14:44 Hyacinth was a Spartan boy and a lover of Apollo who taught him to shoot arrows and play music but he was killed because the winds were jealous so Apollo had him revived. So Hyacine might have a revival thing like Bailu or Gepard? 16:02 So, i think the reason Blackswan has MC go to Amphoreus is probably because lies are being told about history. Maybe these lies are about Amphoreus still being a world, freezing time in the past so that it cannot move on.
I'd say the red silhouette could be March. It would be a missed opportunity to leave out March's backstory in Amphoreus. She has to be an important figure there. Also with Argenti's quest, we saw a dark version of March as if they're foreshadowing her locked memories. Would be nice to have her 5* form soon.
I mean March 7ths path has been constantly brought up so much to the point where the most recent was her basically saying her 6 phase ice is the same as dreamweavers making things with memoria (something all Memokeepers do) 2.6 I doubt Amphorus will be the planet it gets finally confirmed since MC is getting a new path but yeh
Someone pointed out that Anaxagoras has some Odin imagery with the eyepatch and sitting next to a tree. Dont know what this could be hinting at but seems like a neat detail!
Phainon being the nameless new king actually makes a lot of sense, since in Greek mythology Phainon is related to Prometheus and the other gods, in the story he was so beautiful that the gods granted him immortality so most likely he has been alive since the golden age of amphoreus, or perhaps he may even be the nameless that is show with the golden blood in the simulated universe
Fuli is my favorite Aeon. I'm really hoping they're getting more lore. I can't help but wonder if Finality is a mixture of Remembrance and Destruction Remembrance because the Finality keeps talking about records of the "past" and who else would be better for creating such a thing than the Garden of Recollection. Finality and Destruction have what seems like overlap as noted by Herta.
15:47 - An interesing that I found the name Kemnos is that means "overhanging the edge of a river" which is not a coincidence because Castorice is connected with one of the rivers of Underworld. Also there's huge speculation that there's a unknown Lord Ravager which whole motiff is chess and calculated planning that is taking advantage of the whole situation and is possible that this Lord Ravager, the black pieces is what caused Phainon to MESS everything up.
Personally, I think Elysia expy and the 12th figure shown in the big photo scroll are two different individuals, mainly because I know how to count. The photo scroll has 12 pictures depicting 12 different characters, which probably are the equivalent to the 12 flame chasers of Honkai Impact 3rd, with the Elysia expy being the 13th of the flamechasers.
I do think Hyacine is of Beauty, tho I have no evidence beyond vibes, and the bits of the irl greek Hyacinthus i know. Also. Anaxas being a god doubting Fool feels more Pierro to me.
21:05 From the Elysian Realm we know Kevin's power has something to do with deliverance so the fact that this part of the trailor mentions "to embark on a mission of deliverance" feels like a nodge to Kevin. 23:22 also with the ending of the 1st part, before the herta appearance, it shows the ending with the effects like shutting down an old tv, which can be interpreted as amphorius is in a simulation maybe like a memory bubble since balck swan mentions amphorius first or maybe its just a nodge to the herta watching over amphorius.
So what I think is that maybe Elysia was kind of split into several parts of herself, like what happened to tingyun in the dreamscape from that pepeshi's "try not to laugh". march was one of these, somehow just breaking the limits of amphoreus and being found by the express. Likewise the little pet (i forgot its name) could be one of these, like a minor one. See how the eyes look like the flowers in march's design, but with an extra petal in? it could mean something but maybe im just grasping at nothing
Great video lalo! I legit think the last 3 figures aren't exactly the hidden Heirs. These two 18:24 for instance look considerably different. The hidden one reminds me a fusion of Mobius and Klein from hi3, while the water lady reminds me a bit a valkyrie (from myth) due to her hair ornament. Edit: the surprise Elysia edit got me in the kokkoro.
Tribbie might be a reference to "Trivia", the roman goddess of crossroads (particulary three-branched crossroads). Trivia is considered an older name for Diane. And Diane (Artemis) is often considered one aspect of a "Triple Goddess", together with Hecate and Luna (Selene). ... Also, if my theory of Amphoreus = Teyvat (pre-Archon War) is correct, then Tribbie could be a younger Alice (who can also travel to hundreds of worlds, despite Teyvat being isolated from the outside universe).
I doubt that Teyvat is Amphoreus. I just feel, it would be underwhelming. Like The Teyvat was a planet that we have never heard of. Nah I think if hoyo would make a planet with Teyvat. It would be something more major.
7:24 i traced castorice's name to the myth of Castor and Pollux, the twins of gemini. Basically the story goes that they are twins from different father, castor being mortal and pollux being the divine son of zues. when they died pollux was given the choice to be a god but refused unless castor could also be a god. zues agreed but to appease the fates they had to be separated. Pollux lived in the sky, helping travelers and Castor was in the underworld soothing dead travelers. If i'm right about Hoyo having just made a female version of the name Castor then there has to be a pollux and i think it might be march (the story has no meaning without a second half and if they wanted castorice to be solo they could've just used the story of persephone without the marriage). my reasoning for march is that pollux is essentially a trailblazer if you want to put it that way. if march was cast out of amphoreous somehow like you said then that would be her 'ascending' to the sky and away from castorice to appease fate. March spends her time helping people out on the trailblaze and to live while castorice watches over the dead/styx the thing about these two is that it was pollux's love for his brother that convinced zues to give him immortality (they were also fighting on zues's side in the trojan war but i doubt that's important here) so what if it's the opposite here? castorice casted march out of amphoreous somehow to save her from death so castorice couldn't grant it. that's why there is an opinion for death to be denied. she denied march the right to die because of her love for her (sisterly or whatever you want to think) and that denial cast her out of the time loop fun idea
also fun fact, the goddess styx does have a draconic daughter named echida. as in the echidna sky wall that qlipoth is building to keep out the leviathan so maybe that dragon is a leviathan
22:05 The fact that Aglaea has her Coreflame in the drip marketing will probably make more sense after 3.0 comes out, because the first TB mission will show how she claims her Coreflame. Or it's us helping her do it which would make up the bulk of the 3.0 story line.
Amphoreus reminds me a lot of Khaenri'ah, especially since both lands use a 'sun' as a symbol of order and justice. The eye symbol also reminds me about Gosoythoth's (Yog-sothoth) sudden appearance in Natlan.
After playing the first mission part, the first thing i though after seeing the little effects after you catch those bugs things (the nymphs), what if this world is somehow a sort of simulated universe? Maybe Herta wanted to see what happens when multiple Aeons cross paths, and that's why the world is in an infinity loop, just Herta seeing the infinity possibilites. Or maybe even an artificial creation made with Rupert scepters.Kind wild teory but that's what i though, not sure if i missed any explanation for those little "robotic effects". Love the videos!
IX is the black hole/whirlpool in the sea of space/quanta, so it's another visual representation that the tide that consumed Amphoreus should be in the nihility somewhere.
Kinda just thought dumping but I find it unusual that the infinity figure we see of amphoreus has a clear line breaking the loop. A lot of people are speculating a time loop but I feel like that break in the loop is intentional (design wise) and that the astral express have come at exactly the right time... the right time being right before the time loop curse breaks.
im fully expecting for sunday to see the other side of order and replace the sun in amphoreus, as his previous incarnation did in SD after reuniting with the surviving prince in oroboros’s koolaid ocean. too many enaballs, and the SD samsara must continue..
Aglaea's Puppets are those of Hephaestus. In the Iliada, Hephaestus is described as creating automata or self-operating machines to assist him in his forgeworks. Maidens made of gold who can think, move, and speak. They are described as having "intelligence" and being crafted with such skill and detail that they seem life-like. Additionally, Tibbie resembles a Genius. The wings in her back are also reminiscent of depictions of Eros in the Hellenistic period. A type that carried on in the Roman era. The Genii, in Rome, they were guardian spirits or pure manifestations of things. Each place has a Genius. Gardens, mountains, forests and so on. Lastly, Hyacine is associated with The Oracle of Dodona. Dedicated to Zeus. A black dove was said to have flied from Egypt to Dodona nesting on top of an Oak tree there. Peleiades are the names of the Oracles meaning Doves in the Hellenic language. They were a line of women with divine prophecies in Dodona. Pel- is also believed to mean "dark". The Dove is believed, by Herodotus, to have been a dark-skin woman, hence the black dove, captured in Egypt and sold by Phoenicians to the aristocrats in Dodona. Divinely inspired however, after a point, she established a shrine to Zeus' name and became his Oracle.
Holy crap i just remembered the ratio showing up randomly in amphoreus bug Then you mention that hes a stand in for prometheus What if it really was intentional… either because he is going to play a role in the story and was loaded in as an asset or at the very least an inside joke from the devs In general i feel like amphoreus is somewhat of a microcosm, mirroring the galaxy of hsr but on a planetary scale, implying of course that we ourselves in universe are possibly stuck in a similar loop
I wonder : is Aglaea secretly the villain ? She looks like an older Lumine (canonically the evil twin in Genshin Impact), and Lumine's main plan is to use the Loom of Fate to RE-WEAVE the Leylines, which more or less equates to re-weaving the Fate of Teyvat. I wonder if Aglaea also possesses a device similar to the Loom of Fate ?
The wilder the prediction the more fun it is. A Samsara storyline would be funny, though. We're getting a new path in v3.0 like Genshin did with dendro. History really does rhyme. If March turns out to be Cyrene's clone, made as a way to solve the problems on Amphoreus, I'll lose my mind. Maybe we're the ones trapped in endless cycles.
Hyacine reminds me of Genshin. If Amphoreus is some sort of bubble world or isolated world under a curse or or law, perhaps Hyacine plays a similar role to Dainsleif the boughkeeper in monitoring the greater truth of the world. Motives still unknown.
Cyrene is either related to Beauty or Rememberance. My crack theory is that Mem IS Cyrene. But in a weaker form.... Elysia's nickname in HI3 is "Miss Pink Elf". This makes sense since there is an ELF Elysia in the game and She also has elf ears. HOWEVER, it is only Elf in the english translation. In Chinese and Japanese the word they use is Yōsei (妖精) . While this can mean Elf, it is more used for fairies, as in the small guides that fly around you. So technically her name should be "Miss Pink Fairy". A good example for Yōsei is Paimon in Genshin. And we just so happen to receive a pink paimon upon arriving to Amphoreus.... The Cyrene we see appears in a field of elysium indicated that she is "dead" or at least not an active player at the moment. So Mem could be her way to still interact with the story. So if she ends up being Rememberance (instead of Beauty), she could be a memokeeper that got "stuck" in Amphoreus and we are sent in as her replacement/companion. Since our job seems to be to literally write down the story of Amphoreus.
16:22 Probably a really basic answer but given her name, isn’t Enigmata possible? 22:27 Maybe I’m just crazy but that hairstyle reminds me of March. But maybe that’s just because it also looks like Elysia
Y’know, if Elysia is like HI3 Elysia, I guess we’re getting Jesus 2.0 again boiis. (I do wonder tho what her deal will be in 3.0, I just hope that it’s not dying again.)
Like a force of chaos that's trying to destroy the world? In HI3 it's THE Honkai aka The Finality. In HSR I think it's the destruction path / nanook or some other entity that has something to do with Stellaron.
as i said at the comment on your previous video, really love on how u explain this thing... #req but may i suggest something, can u add background music? i think it can improve the atmosphere when listening to your hearttrembling story as well... THANKS😁😁🔥🔥
I wonder if they are gonna make the woman wielding water "dr mei" so to speak, though not directly like with Elysia and Kevin. More so a reference like Cipher sharing some visual similarities. Having two Mei's who both partially or fully reference Elysian Realm, PE or whatever is kinda lame. Atleast Silver Wolf and Bronya Rand are vastly different in concept.
FYI Subtitles aren't working atm but hopefully they will be fixed soon!

@connorradcliffe1769 Genshin isn't HI3

Herta is the closest to beauty with how mirror is part of her power and there's idrila faction called mirror holders
Surprisingly accurate seeing this was before you played 3.0!
ooh another amphoreus video and by you no less! just what i needed to fuel my obsession even more :D
He's gone too far.. We cant save him :(
7:24 i traced castorice's name to the myth of Castor and Pollux, the twins of gemini.
March spends her time helping people out on the trailblaze and to live while castorice watches over the dead/styx
the thing about these two is that it was pollux's love for his brother that convinced zues to give him immortality (they were also fighting on zues's side in the trojan war but i doubt that's important here)
so what if it's the opposite here? castorice casted march out of amphoreous somehow to save her from death so castorice couldn't grant it. that's why there is an opinion for death to be denied. she denied march the right to die because of her love for her (sisterly or whatever you want to think) and that denial cast her out of the time loop
fun idea
also fun fact, the goddess styx does have a draconic daughter named echida. as in the echidna sky wall that qlipoth is building to keep out the leviathan so maybe that dragon is a leviathan
Whooo new video from my fav lore tuber 😁
The way you just casually predicted Anaxa and Tribbie’s paths.
@LalodysLore 23:07 ... the drawing reminds me of Gustave Dore's Divine Comedy... the first thing went in my mind haha
Can't wait for all those cool locking characters to be offscreen or turn into a relic set.
The part of outlanders visiting under the veil of gloom and the the shadow of a train being visible makes perfect sense with the most recent update
22:05
The fact that Aglaea has her Coreflame in the drip marketing will probably make more sense after 3.0 comes out, because the first TB mission will show how she claims her Coreflame. Or it's us helping her do it which would make up the bulk of the 3.0 story line.
Hey Lalody's Lore, thanks for the shout out 😀
Amphoreus reminds me a lot of Khaenri'ah, especially since both lands use a 'sun' as a symbol of order and justice.
18:50 That is not Sunday, that silhouette does not have the thorn halo behind his head, that's probably March
Interesting how Mem looks a lot like Hyacine
23:48 in one of THE herta picture frame, there is a picture of IX, what are THEY doing there
IX is the black hole/whirlpool in the sea of space/quanta, so it's another visual representation that the tide that consumed Amphoreus should be in the nihility somewhere.
25:15 i immediately thought of the "faded miss pink elf" skin from hi3
Wait, what if our mission here is to witness the "birth" of Nanook? Maybe Midei becomes THEM?
Not a new March alt being leaked while you connect March in the trailer holding a white chess piece..
Tribbie’s drip marketing came out! She’s a quantum harmony character!
im fully expecting for sunday to see the other side of order and replace the sun in amphoreus, as his previous incarnation did in SD after reuniting with the surviving prince in oroboros’s koolaid ocean. too many enaballs, and the SD samsara must continue..
Amphoreus is such a mess, in a good way.
Holy crap i just remembered the ratio showing up randomly in amphoreus bug
Then you mention that hes a stand in for prometheus
What if it really was intentional… either because he is going to play a role in the story and was loaded in as an asset or at the very least an inside joke from the devs
In general i feel like amphoreus is somewhat of a microcosm, mirroring the galaxy of hsr but on a planetary scale, implying of course that we ourselves in universe are possibly stuck in a similar loop
20:00 wtf 😭 first, the theory that march is elysia, and now this
I wonder : is Aglaea secretly the villain ?
She looks like an older Lumine (canonically the evil twin in Genshin Impact), and Lumine's main plan is to use the Loom of Fate to RE-WEAVE the Leylines, which more or less equates to re-weaving the Fate of Teyvat.
I wonder if Aglaea also possesses a device similar to the Loom of Fate ?
So technically 12 "flame chase" are just proto Aeons/factions
The wilder the prediction the more fun it is. A Samsara storyline would be funny, though. We're getting a new path in v3.0 like Genshin did with dendro. History really does rhyme. If March turns out to be Cyrene's clone, made as a way to solve the problems on Amphoreus, I'll lose my mind. Maybe we're the ones trapped in endless cycles.
IM SO EXCITED OH MY GOOOD
16:46 maybe its referencing ladon, or a drakon, or one of the parents of the greek monsters? i doubt its a hydra given the wings and void-yness
I'm guessing the gold blood is related to the stellaron. On that part about the 100 worlds isn't that something someone said about xipe at some point
16:22 Probably a really basic answer but given her name, isn’t Enigmata possible?
22:27 Maybe I’m just crazy but that hairstyle reminds me of March. But maybe that’s just because it also looks like Elysia
18:31 NEUVILLETTE IS THAT YOU!?
Y’know, if Elysia is like HI3 Elysia, I guess we’re getting Jesus 2.0 again boiis. (I do wonder tho what her deal will be in 3.0, I just hope that it’s not dying again.)
Amazing vid btw aglaea inspiration is the Moires which is pronounced "mooar" haha
Does something similar to the Genshin Abyss exist in Star Rail?
Antimatter legion seems like similar to genshin abyss troops but more enhanced
Like a force of chaos that's trying to destroy the world? In HI3 it's THE Honkai aka The Finality. In HSR I think it's the destruction path / nanook or some other entity that has something to do with Stellaron.
Have you researched Herta connections with mirror holders from idrila faction, she has lot in common and their motive to revive idrila
Nihility drawing Acheron to return, what is stronger the pull of nothingness or the memories of the past?
14:34 that is pink barbara and im hearing otherwise
mmm ratio crumbs mmm
I believe two of them are inspired from castor and pollux
as i said at the comment on your previous video,
really love on how u explain this thing...
#req but may i suggest something, can u add background music? i think it can improve the atmosphere when listening to your hearttrembling story as well... THANKS😁😁🔥🔥
another video so soon WTF christmas came early!
Mydia - Karna (Fate) look alike
Hello i think it would be really cool if you made a discord server for all of us lore nerds to chat :D
Y'all Amphoreus just Loona's universe y'all should take a look at Loona's lore
How abr rhe Rogues
All I know is that Mydei makes my womb twitch (I'm a guy)
Hiii
I wonder if they are gonna make the woman wielding water "dr mei" so to speak, though not directly like with Elysia and Kevin. More so a reference like Cipher sharing some visual similarities. Having two Mei's who both partially or fully reference Elysian Realm, PE or whatever is kinda lame. Atleast Silver Wolf and Bronya Rand are vastly different in concept.
Just saying, isn’t the water lady looks like Saphire or Pearl ? Just saying, we always get an IPC executive 👨🏻💼
