I learnt alot from Jimmy but disagree on one action, withdrawing funds from the 3 named banks.
First of all, being the latest locally by assets and likely holding largest customer deposits means each of us has someone or money in one or all of these banks even if its a shilling. That means, more than 70% of the population would be affected directly and indirectly. Meanwhile, it's not as though you will move money from one bank to another by sacks across streets. It doesn't work like that. Maybe too afew others he has not named would also be culpable but maybe to a lesser level, who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️
Secondly, as soon as these banks detect a run (massive withdrawals) a 'lockdown' is enforced to control things. Means, you have now limited withdrawals of your own money per day or week or month. Or, you have zero access depending on how bad the situation is. This will immediately cause civil unrest; refer to Lebanon, Venezuela. Just refer anywhere on what happens when a bank 'runs' etc.
Lastly, whilst all these is suggested, wealthy people, Jimmy included most likely don't have large monies in the said banks or have none at all as they prefer more ambient banks, likely multinationals and further likely have offshore accounts, and, they most likely will have moved their own money anyway. Meaning, if only the 3 banks are affected, their lives continue as if nothing happened and worse case, fly out and continue to live elsehwere as usual. After all they can access their monies anywhere else and have assets outside the country.
Best approach as he has always proposed is a debt audit and all guilty parties faced with consequences.

Can someone.produce an animated series explaining the origins of Kenya's debt crisis complete wirh facts and figures. There are too many loose ends in this narrative that is a bit confusing to the average lay person.
