Really nothing other than reliable HPI 1/10 scales from this period are driveable these days. There were so many of these made, that parts are still available in some cases.

hey bro! YEs, I also agree. BTW, this T3.0 is identical in specs to the G3.0. The only difference here is this model has the Standard Shaft like all the older nitro engines did at this time period. Also the engine case has integrated engine mounts, so it bolts directly to the chassis without any other engine mounts. Otherwise it's 100% the same specs. Great engines for the money, can't be beat.

Hi I just picked up the hpi t 3.0 engine for my hpi rs4 after watching your video my rs4 I single speed will it fit with no mods to flywheel and clutch your help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for checking out this video. the Answer is YES< the new T3.0 is a 100% direct fit, including the flywheel and everything stock it came with, you won't need to adjust anything (not even gear mesh) because the motor screws into the same slot as th stock one. SOmehitng to be aware of though, since the carb has a much larger opening you will need to carefully adjust your throttle trim endpoints to make sure the carb opens all the way and closes.

whats up bro! Those are basic traxxas fuel lines. I did not mean to keep them permanently because I actually prefer clear fuel line lately. But the traxxas bluish color ones are cheap and do a good enough job, and are highly dependable over time.

hey dude! I Sure hope so!! It seems like they are re-releasing some of their last generation kits before they went bankrupt. Considering this I highly doubt that the 1990-2010 models will ever be made. We do need a nice super nitro though, I can stand behind that lol.
hey dude! im here to help you out man, lets make another nitro great again. First thing you gotta do is clean the fuel system and check if engine is seized. I've got several videos where I disassemble engines that are seized. they almost always run after.

I have that exact same HPI Porsche 911 GT3 Supercup but mine has the optional 12v halogen gardening light upgrade with the 9v battery Velcro’s to the roof hahahahah and an on off switch in the rear bumper. Somebody went to some serious effort to murder that 911. Obviously the glove did fit !!

hey bro! I've been meaning to respond to your previous comments, have not have time, will do it now. anyway you really can drift any car with the right low friction tires. These are the original tires from who it was new, the rubber is pretty terrible in terms of softness as this point. But the wheels seem to run just fine for now. This wasn't a top speed style video, just checking the fit and drivetrain after the engine swap, you know.
I’m so temped on a rs4 on eBay it’s £100 and has an os engine in it no body tho the cooling heads got a chip out of it tho car seems a bit messy tho all screws seemed to be good an all the parts where there comes with manual too

You are lucky w/ that Nitro Star T3.0. I got two of them, which both crapped out like Chinese garabe that they are IMHO. I'm still looking for a much more reliable than the "plug n play" newer cheap ass engine. ;(

T3.0... A very ungrateful engine. Had plenty of power (literally, it was tearing apart a 2nd gear on my buggy lol) but the pull starter often bounced backward when the engine died, which peeled the skin off my fingers :) I have 8 nitro engines in my collection and I love them, but this one is a true "pain in the ass" when I need to work with it (start-up, adjusting, and fun). As much as I love my F3.5 PRO, I really hate the T3.0.

Just got this engine for my nitro mt which fitted perfectly. also installed a rotostart backplate so no hurting mi fingers..
