Katamari Damacy REROLL - Guide: Unlocking All Eternal Levels (By Request)

This video shows how to unlock all 3 Eternal levels. As the name suggests, there is no time limit in Eternals. They are essential to completing the item collection since there are unique items (including Cousins) in the Eternals. Also, the video is beginner friendly with no skips or edits.
First, beat the game (by finishing Make the Moon). Then unlock each level as follows:
Eternal 1: 1m30cm in Make a Star 4 - 0:00
Eternal 2: 25m in Make a Star 8 - 6:10
Eternal 3: 800m in Make the Moon - 15:30
It's possible to unlock the Eternals before beating the game, but you can't actually play them until after you beat the game.
Angels will circle your katamari when you reach the required size.
I made stardust with my katamaris to show that stars vs. stardust doesn't matter for unlocking Eternals.
You can safely quit any Make a Star level (including Make the Moon) after you reach the goal size.
If this is your first experience with Eternals, keep in mind that quitting at any point will overwrite your previous score. Load your game or quit without saving to retain the old score.
Remember to save your game after every session unless you don't value what you just did. Also, you do have 3 save files so use them wisely.
The gameplay is a bit sloppy, but hopefully it does the job.

sweet 1 and 3 done... I had 3 on PS2 and got it today but this helped with 1... next up 2 (is there not a way to go from house to town to world in one run? Seems that would be a not too hard addition,
Unfortunately not. They're all distinct levels/areas.
@@ThumbsOfSteel74 yeah that was what I thought...I did get all three eternals. (are they easier now in Reroll?) I have not had time to play them! (I also need to collect all the stuff)
@@JohnAnderson42 I don't think they made anything easier (unlocking or otherwise) regarding Eternals in Reroll. Several levels are easier to complete or do better in since they increased time limits.
You may have seen it already, but check out the pinned comment when you're ready to clean up your last few items, Presents, etc.
These endless modes feel empty. The world only gets so big in each one and doesn't feel like a proper endless mode. Not tried endless 1 but endless 2 keeps you stuck inside the crater that the entire town is set in so you're stuck at roughly 25m 40+cm give or take. Endless 3 is similar but stuck t that one section of the world so you can't really get any bigger than 83 to 880m give or take. I want to be able to get so g that I can start rolling up the continents before moving into space and rolling up the stardusts and planets etc just like we did before in other Katamari games.
The game is a remake/remaster of the original from 2004. They either hadn't thought as big back then (as they later would in Beautiful Katamari and Katamari Forever), or perhaps they were limited by the (PS2) hardware at the time.
That said, I get where you're coming from. Playing these levels after BK/KF can seem like a bit of a letdown.

If you play it maybe you can give me a tutorial on how to find all the presents and cousins if you can't do it thats completely fine
