Thanks for taking the time to do the demonstration. Judging by the groupings it’s clear that the size of pellets are not suitable for the barrel but by sizing them down to what the barrel likes works. It’s a laborious task and I would only consider doing that if my preferred size was not available. The tighter group is no more better then a correctly matched pellet. If it was stacking up pellets in a hole no bigger the 5.5 that would be a noticeable improvement. Just my 2 pence worth.
My HH110 will hit a small bottle top (Coke Bottle) at 50m using biz mags in any size 4.50-4.51 or 4.52 with 2.1mill dot holdover. Unsized. . . . I have noticed more and more JSB Heavys have damaged skirts. Still very accurate although I do have more flyers than before, so I might try a sizer. I can still hit a 5p at 50m with 2.25mill dot hold over. But those flyers miss prey. . . so not good. (I only shoot prey up to 40m)
Great Video and Tutorial thanks, I found this video very helpful. I'm from the U.S. and I bought a 5.5 mm Pellet Sizer just like yours. I'm in need of an accurate pellet scale, the cheap one I have is really not that accurate. Do you have any recommendations?

Hi you should check what pellet skirt your pellet like best e.g 4.51 or a 4.52 ect. Then buy one accordingly If it like 4.51 for example buy a 4.51 pellet sizer for a .177 pellet. Hope that helps

Sean Lawrence it’s best if you can buy the whole sizer range and then test to see which size is best for your own particular barrel as every barrel is different, the whole kit can be had off eBay for 28 quid. I know from using various pellets that the 4.53mm jsb was what my barrel favoured, but I still got the sizer kit because for that price versus 16 each I know other shooters who would like to try them out, I keep it in my range bag. Look on eBay for a set of jewelers diamond scales.

Yes 5.53 pellets and 5.52 sizer should bring pellet to right diameter.

You need to try 4.50 up to 4 53 and see what suits your gun.

Think that it is taking energy away from the shot to size the larger pellets. So it sucking fps out and that gives you the flyers
It doesn't size the skirt of the pellet an I think the sizer does 🤔

Waste of time clean and weigh is enough if you out shooting rabbits,birds or any other small prey this is a waste of time
