Klavis Quadigy. Tutorial and 10 Great Patch Examples

- Klavis Quadigy is a 4-channel envelope generator, but in reality it’s so much more. It can be a clock, clock-divider, create LFOs and all of these can be modulated under CV control. With so much power it can be an intimidating module to get to grips with, so in this video I break down how Quadigy works, and give patch examples and recipes for many different ways you can use it in your patches.
Quadigy is available from all good modular store. If you'd like to buy any Klavis modules consider using these affiliate links to help support the channel:

At its heart Klavis Quadigy is a classic 4-channel envelope generator. Each envelope can have up to 7 segments defined, with curve-shaping and Hold/Punch on the stages as well. But the real power of Quadigy comes in when you combine different modes for the envelopes; looping, clocked or individual. This turns the module in a flexible function generator that can do everything from clocking other modules, to dividing down an external clock, to making slow moving LFOs to add movement to your patches all under CV control.

Still an incredible tutorial/overview, explaining a very deep module in a very intuitive manner and much simplicity. You really helped me a bunch!
Glad I could help out!
Excellent video. Your timing for this is perfect for me. I am getting a bit short of rack space and need more envelopes. This looks excellent for my application. From one synth dad to another , thanks. Subscribed.
You are so welcome!🙏
This is the best tutorial of the quadigy so far. I've always missed some deep dive into that moduel. Thanx
Glad it was helpful!
Liked & subscribed. I loved the deep dive. And as I’ve said before, you make the kind of music I strive to. With inspiration from you and others I’ve built a little system and started a channel to chronicle my patches. So thank you!!!
I'm so pleased to hear that I'm helping you along - best of luck on your musical explorations!
I love my Quadigy but yet another module where I don't squeeze too much wild juice out of it. I have a hunch I'm going to get a lot of great ideas from this vid. Thanks synthdad!
finally understand this module i've had for years! thanks so much )
Glad it helped!
Super awesome tutorial. Quadigy is pretty easy to use, but this video just made even easier and better!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for this good Tutorial, it helps me as a beginner.
