I must confess I did not know he was the son of Muddy Waters while watching this, but I was thinking - "Man! This guy looks and sounds like Muddy!" How fantastic to discover the joy that is Mud. (Beautiful drumming by the way, Mike).
I like this... It's the only interview I know of with Little Richard that focuses on his considerable technical proficiencies instead of his outlandish stage presence even though he never plays outside of the key of 'G'. It's also the only interview with him where he doesn't mention Macan Georgia...!
Awesome and his dad would certainly be proud. Damn, I really wish that the upright was produced better in live sessions. The guy is obviously talented but it always sounds like a tennis racket with no low end. All the money invested in instruments and sound on that stage and that bass should really be shaking the walls. It is a life long struggle and pain of the slapper to chase that Billy Hailey click and full bottom sound.

And what an amazing band, especially Steve West Weston on Harp.

Carbon copy of one of the Great ones! Muddy Mississippi Waters. Would have been something to see him and Big Bill Morganfield perform with their dad.
Eric Ranzoni should not being singing backup ......too strong of an accent. Other than that, it sounds fantastic.
Now that the truth.
True. Doesn’t sound right
Working WAY TOO HARD to sound like his father. Too funny
