    Hey! I know this video is about tips for us, but I wanted to give you some tips to make things easier. :)
    When you stack your dough on your pan and you’re ready to put them in the fridge, instead of using plastic wrap, you can use half sheet pan covers. They’re reusable and save me time and money. I use the covers from Winco since they had the best reviews and they really
    work well.
    1 more tip would be to get a kitchen aid pro series 7 quart. You can make a double batch of cookie dough using just 1 mixer. Thus reducing the amount of dishes to clean.
    Anyways, hope these tips help!

    Im starting to make and eventually decorate cookies. I’m watching lots of your videos, and it’s very informative. If I used the one in freezer I just let it thaw for how long?thank you

      That’s so exciting! Normally when I freeze dough, I will allow it to stay in the freezer for around 20 minutes before cutting if I’m making cookies right away. However, sometimes I need to store it for awhile, so when I pin it out after a day or two in the freezer and it’s rock solid, I like to give it 10-15 minutes on the counter to thaw a bit. I hope that helps! 🥰

    I'm getting geared up for Christmas cookie baking so this video really helps! Also, where are you from, if you don't mind me asking. I noticed the accent lol. I'm from Alabama.

      Awesome! That’s so funny! I’m right on the line between TN and AL. I live near Collinwood, TN but went to college and worked in Florence for awhile 🥰

    Thank you, I have a question since I have such a large family if I make ahead the cookie dough then bake then freeze then I want to take out thaw decorate and then freeze again, then to ship ..is this possible with good taste ?

    • @SarahGraceCookieCo
      @SarahGraceCookieCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would probably decorate them and then heat seal them in cellophane bags. Heat sealed cookies will taste fresh for 4-6 weeks and you wouldn’t have to worry about freezing🥰

    Approximately how long did this whole process take you?

    • @SarahGraceCookieCo
      @SarahGraceCookieCo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it was around 4 hours. This was a Saturday when my husband was home to keep my kids entertained so I got some uninterrupted time, but it saved me a ton of time in the long run 🥰

    Oh wow! I’ve never heard of anyone sifting their flour for sugar cookies. macarons, yes. But not sugar cookies. What is the difference between sifting and not sifting? :)

    • @SarahGraceCookieCo
      @SarahGraceCookieCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it helps keep them flat, but you can absolutely do it without the sift. I picked up the habit when I bought flour in bulk and the larger bags can have some lumps 🥰

      I live in the South and it’s hot here. Sometimes we get flies in the Summer, but they won’t hurt you, Sharifa, I promise! I could edit out every fly in my kitchen and crumb on my counter, but I’ve promised to be real with y’all and that’s what I do. Thank you for your comment 🥰
