“my trick“ to make my essence eyeliner pen last longer is to just get the tip out with some tweezers and turn it around! On the other side the applicator is the exact same and it's like new ✨💕
Tati! for the essence liners, if you find the felt tip drying out you can take a pair of tweezers and pull the felt tip out. you'll see another brand new felt tip on the other side which you can reuse instead!

You totally persuaded me last year to get the Tom Ford eyeliner when you used it in almost every video! It was honestly such a good purchase, I love it! It’s totally my go-to when I want to wear a liner. I bought it almost exactly a year ago, and it is still inkier than any other liner I own. So good!

I remember in middle school I would place my cheap wet n wild eyeliner (the long 99 cent ones) over a flame for 2 seconds, and it would go on so dark and pigmented
I used to do that too with a covergirl liner in brown. It was s way to always get the richest color for me because with true pencil liners, after you use them the first time the color gets dull or it doesn't apply as well. Just remember to wait until the product is cool before you put it on your eyes.
They shut down the bathroom at my middle school one day because some girls did that and it smelled and the staff thought someone did drugs in the bathroom

glassyAnya She did a video where she used the Coppertone face sunscreen, but I personally cannot use it. I've had good luck with the Shisedo sunscreen under foundation and it does break me out. Keep in me, I live in South Florida with sensitive af oily/combo skin, so I need bullet proof sunscreen that's not going to anger the skin gods. I also really love the IT Cosmetics CC cream with spf 50. That was my go-to all summer. I loved it.
glassyAnya Japanese sunscreen is the way to go. Western spf just doesn't compare. You can get Biore, Canmake, Nivea (has to be Japanese Nivea like the sun Protect water gel in white pump bottle), and Hada Labo
definitely NYX tattoo liner. it looks like a felt tip, but its actually bristles shaped to look like a felt tip. it's there newest formula. it's so black. so Matt. so good. :)
My constant repurchase is the rimmel scandaleyes for my black liner! Also i love the ulta brand of gel pencil liners for black or blue liners. I like to wear blue as my small pop of color at work
at ulta and target, nyx has something called the “epic ink eyeliner” - if you like liquid eyeliner, this is a holy grail product. it’s $8, and i would say it’s equivalent to the tattoo liner by kat von d. it’s really great and affordable!! 👍 it’s the best eyeliner i’ve ever used!

Nyx's waterproof eyeshadow primer is literally swim proof and brilliant for oily eyelids but for the life of me I can't get it off at the end of the day 😂

you really should try the physicians formula eye booster it's so amazing I couldn't even believe it when I first got it plus I always store my felt tips upside down so that the product is always towards the applicator might help the essence one from drying out so fast good tip for any pen really!
Hey Tati, have you ever tried the physicians formula felt tip liner in very black? That stuff stays even longer than the Tom Ford on me (which I also have) and I swear it is crazy long lasting and the liner also lasts a long time. It’s the only drugstore felt tip I have found that rivals the Tom Ford : )

If I had to choose ONE liner to use forever it would HANDS DOWN be the NYX Epic Ink Liner. If you haven’t tried it you should! Insanely black, very matte, the felt tip has just the right stiffness yet mobility to create a perfect wing, and it NEVER runs out! 😘
Jessica Davis Mine are the like that and it worked pretty well for me. Even better if you set it with black eyeshadow. I think it lasts better than most liquid liners I've tried but it does fade after a while.
Ahh you left out my drug store holy grail! Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Eye Liner is awesome!!! I used to love stila's marker one but this one is my jam!! Definitely one to look into.

I know she has mentioned one of her favorite drug store concealers is the one from catrice, and one of her favorite drug store bronzers is the butter bronzer from physicians formula! Hope that helps a little!

I tried them because Tati recommended them and they're great for about one week and then they dry out. I mean, for the price it's fine but I still prefer other products.
Julie Nguyen same, I used to use Kat's before her brand went vegan, after that the formula wasn't the same and wasn't that great anymore, also I hate felt tip do I didn't like the ink liner. I was struggling to find a better eyeliner and someone recommended nyx and I am hooked on it.
Where did you find it? I live in the US and I have Walmart, Walgreens, Target, & CVS near me. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen Essence sold in those stores :/

Believe it or not my go to is ELF's $2 liquid liner lol I've tried others but sometimes application is complicated ... And elf for the most part is on point and for $2 can't go wrong
My very favorite is NYX Professional Makeup Matte Liquid Liner! The best I've ever used. So easy to apply and doesn't dry instantly so I can clean up any mistakes quickly with a q-tip. Stranded on a deserted island pick!
Does anyone else love the Revlon colorstay liquid liner?! I feel like I’m the only one who uses it lol, I never hear anyone talk about it on TH-cam. But it’s my holy grail!! I get the best wing with this liner, and I’ve tried many kinds!

I was using the tarte one (well I still am because) I was stupid and was doing something and broke the tip off ... so now I am waiting for Christmas because I asked for a new makeup pencil sharpener . (I know my other half splurged and got the urban decay sharper so I am interested to see if t actually performs like the price tag) I love their lip liners.
Yes it’s a brush tip! You can see the bristles if you look closely. There’s also a shaker inside and the brush hasn’t dried out and I’ve had it since summer!

I have -no joke- been in the ocean with it and it stayed sharp and pigmented. I have worn it for 48hrs straight with no fading, smudging, or bleeding. The sharp paintbrush tip applicator allows the product to glide beautifully, every single time. One pen will last me for months. Sephora recently had the minis for 100 points so I stocked up. I get compliments on it all the time. I will love it forever.
Great video! Very informative and helpful 💖 You should do a video on brown drugstore eyeliners too, especially pencils. I personally cannot justify splurging on an Urban Decay or Marc Jacobs eye pencil, and knowing a good drugstore alternative would be so appreciated.

If anybody doesn't know yet you can take almost every tip of a felt eyeliner out, turn it around, put it back in and get alot more uses out of it :)

you really should try the physicians formula eye booster it's so amazing I couldn't even believe it when I first got it plus I always store my felt tips upside down so that the product is always towards the applicator might help the essence one from drying out so fast good tip for any pen really!

Hey Tati, have you ever tried the physicians formula felt tip liner in very black? That stuff stays even longer than the Tom Ford on me (which I also have) and I swear it is crazy long lasting and the liner also lasts a long time. It’s the only drugstore felt tip I have found that rivals the Tom Ford : )

If I had to choose ONE liner to use forever it would HANDS DOWN be the NYX Epic Ink Liner. If you haven’t tried it you should! Insanely black, very matte, the felt tip has just the right stiffness yet mobility to create a perfect wing, and it NEVER runs out! 😘
How is it for people with watery or greasy eyes? A lot of eyeliners transfer to the top of my lid or won’t stay put cause my eyes water a lot
Jessica Davis Mine are the like that and it worked pretty well for me. Even better if you set it with black eyeshadow. I think it lasts better than most liquid liners I've tried but it does fade after a while.

Julie Nguyen same, I used to use Kat's before her brand went vegan, after that the formula wasn't the same and wasn't that great anymore, also I hate felt tip do I didn't like the ink liner. I was struggling to find a better eyeliner and someone recommended nyx and I am hooked on it.

Where did you find it? I live in the US and I have Walmart, Walgreens, Target, & CVS near me. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen Essence sold in those stores :/

Idk how easy it is to get GOSH in other countries but the GOSH Velvet Touch eyeliner in Black Ink is literally the best one I've ever used, I love it so much.

I was using the tarte one (well I still am because) I was stupid and was doing something and broke the tip off ... so now I am waiting for Christmas because I asked for a new makeup pencil sharpener . (I know my other half splurged and got the urban decay sharper so I am interested to see if t actually performs like the price tag) I love their lip liners.

Yes it’s a brush tip! You can see the bristles if you look closely. There’s also a shaker inside and the brush hasn’t dried out and I’ve had it since summer!

Kat Von D waterproof liquid liner in the shade Trooper. I've been using it every single day for years now, always with eyeshadow primer, with or without eyeshadow. I have -no joke- been in the ocean with it and it stayed sharp and pigmented. I have worn it for 48hrs straight with no fading, smudging, or bleeding. The sharp paintbrush tip applicator allows the product to glide beautifully, every single time. One pen will last me for months. Sephora recently had the minis for 100 points so I stocked up. I get compliments on it all the time. I will love it forever.
Great video! Very informative and helpful 💖 You should do a video on brown drugstore eyeliners too, especially pencils. I personally cannot justify splurging on an Urban Decay or Marc Jacobs eye pencil, and knowing a good drugstore alternative would be so appreciated.
