Adult CPR is performed by checking for patient responsiveness, abnormal breathing, and contacting emergency services. Next, check for a pulse for 10 seconds max, and begin CPR if the patient has no pulse. Perform 30 compressions at a rate of 100-120 per minute and a depth of 2-2.4 inches in the center of the chest. These 30 compressions should be followed by two rescue breaths, and repeat the cycle until an AED or emergency services arrives.

How do we do that rescue breath? Do we taking a deep breath or release our breath to the person?

yep.. when families make their elderly loved ones a "full code" status at the hospital, this means we do CPR/ chest compressions/ everything. the chest compressions alone can break ribs and is not comfortable for those patients
