They are not outdoor music festivals. She is just busking :) But of course you can call it outdoor music festivals. And I believe it is cause its spontaneous. She just comes on the street, starts singing and who ever is passing stops and listens if he or she wants. Its way more natural than anything you can produce on purpose. Thats why the vibe is better, cause its real. Thats just how I feel it.

Holy cow - I knew only the Rolling Stones version all my lifetime, but this young lady shows that this song can be something completly different and truely amazing, incredible to turn this epic tune into a melancholic melodic ballad without leaving the blue notes

This might be the best recording of a solo busking performance ever. Sounds almost like a studio version. Alice has such a great feel for aranging solo tracks that sound as full and complete as if they came from an entire band. What a treasure. Thank you for putting in the effort. Crazy how millions of people can whitness a legend in the making, kicking off her career busking the streets of Berlin.

That "clichéd" Stones song was the first, the original, the one that started it all -- and anything BUT a cliché at the time it broke. Can't blame the originators for all the imitators that came along to ride the trail that they'd blazed.

Back in the late post war/post food rationing 1950s things were pretty grim and the Beatles & Rolling Stones were a burst of fresh air and sunshine I'm sure. The Beatles She Loves You came out a year before was equally groundbreaking, both way before my time! Fast forward 60 years to this age of over hyped, over sexualised and commercial music, my subjective opinion, listening to APL's existential version really gave me a new appreciation of this song. PJ Harvey & Bjork also did a great version of it for the 1994 Brit awards.

I agree with all the other comments on just how stunning raw and impact-full her performance is, , but don't miss the way the video lends to the mood. The way the individual strands of her hair are back-lit by the sun and move in the wind really add something to this incredible song..
She's so exceptional outdoors with just her voice and a guitar. I listened to her studio produced videos and they were just like everyone else's. Whomever is advising her needs to go. She needs to record her original songs and soulful covers to other songs like this, "Take a Walk on the Wild Side" and "Bang Bang" - just with her fabulous voice and a guitar.

I was just thinking that if I was in a city where she was performing I would stop almost in my tracks to hear her. Some people are too busy or increasingly coldly indifferent, lacking in attention span, etc.
