sawtooths are awesome. also have those three. recently mounted a boogie and r.o.f. to moss poles, (have vids) soon to be followed by my croc. if that wasn't a sentence about plants, i could get arrested for saying that, in some countries! ;-p . nice vid :)

    Cool plants!
I have 2 golden crocodiles. They can take a good amount of morning light and like water right as they get dry. I’d say temperature like 68-90 would be fine. Just be careful with super bright/hot afternoon sun

Thanks, I have a golden crocodile and really love this variegated, sawtooth philodendron style. I just bought something called a P. Pluto Narrow which has the same shape and some variegation. The immature leaves are very similar to a golden crocodile but darker and more variegated. One of them is a little iridescent and I hope the iridescence remains. Really enjoyed this video.

Anthony, first of all thanks for sharing your practical knowledge! Deeply appreciated.
Do you subscribe to the idea that all these "serratum" types are wendlandii X tortum?
Do you see flowering on any of the varieties?
Is the form of any one clone stable or is there mutation (especially under TC)?
I'm trying to use serratum types in breeding... hence the silly questions.

I've seen several different parent plants proposed with confidence, so I subscribe to no one knowing. No, I have not personally ever seen one flower. Anecdotally, I feel like this recent round of tissue cultured ring of fire are a bit different from the classic ring of fire. Lots more variegation, imo.

@@planttalkwiththebasementre1374 Thanks for your informed reply. I'm working with an unvariegated, much less "toothy", extremely narrow 'Narrow Escape' that seems to be a somaclonal variation out of TC.
I begged one tiny pup from the original nursery.
This particular Narrow lineage has short internodes and doesn't climb. It's seemingly unstable and it is very floriferous.
I'm trying to eventually get a range of hybrids between this and Philodendron campii (lynnette); mexicanum; a narrow leaved P.quinquenervium that I collected in the forest here; and a nice narrowish leaves Red Emerald type that I've had for decades.
I'm glad to see that you're a hobbyist who looks at these cool things.
There's a lot of misinformation aloft on TH-cam. I appreciate your quality output.
Hope your channel finds favour and grows. I for one will be always looking for new aroid stuff from you. I'll also check out your aquarium channel. I'm a neotropical freshwater fish nut. Too bad I'm not in the USA. LoLoLoLoLZ.
      Thanks again, Anthony!

Thanks for showing the plant as you talk about it. The videos where the person talks and the video is constantly on the person is irritating.
