The best ingredient was all the love poured into making this cake. The only change I would make would be to match the frosting to the color of the dress, but most dads don't think of those things. It is beautiful as it is!

So amazing! The doll cakes I’ve seen before are usually made with smaller Barbie-sized dolls. You did a great job! The important part is that your daughter loves it which I’m sure she does as it was made with love.
The only two suggestions I might have are (1) use a good butter creme icing recipe. Butter creme is SO much better than the canned stuff and is super easy to make. And (2) ice between the layers to help “cement” the structure so they don’t start sliding and getting wonky. Btw, you can do this on a smaller scale with Barbie dolls and simple round cake pans (however I love your use of the bundt cake pans!). Excellent job dad!!
He did a great job decorating. It's always interesting to me when people make cakes and don't ice between the layers. They've surely eaten cake before, so know it's there. How would you even serve a cake with no icing between the layers.
He probably used her favorite doll. No icing in between won’t be an issue either. Daddy made her a princess cake!! That’s all her heart will remember. Nice job daddy 🩷🩷🎁
I wonder if there are others like me who watch his videos more than once at a time?? I am always so amazed by whatever he shares that I watch it 2-3 times just to take in everything. He is one very creative man and always has such fun things to share. Now, I want the video with his family’s reaction to the cake!
I not only watch his clips 3 to 4 times, but I save my favorites to watch at another time. His talents are endless. I wonder what he does for a living? My all-time favorite, to date, is the Aladdin flying carpet clips he did for Halloween. For some reason, they made me cry.
The Aladdin video is definitely worth watching again, @@kahetiger It demonstrates his creativity as well as the good relationship he has with his family. I like the family activities and the dates he still has with his wife. (Just because a couple is married is no excuse to stop dating!)

She never shared any information with me, and I didn't really care to know.
This dad is "the real deal"! Makes a genuine "doll" cake using a real doll! The skirt is the cake, and, the doll is her gift along with the cake! A single dad here, with 6 girls of my own! Doug
Dang fine job. The love that went into that cake was the most important ingredient. And there was no way a bakery was going to be able to do a big doll cake for a reasonable price.

Great job dad! Very clever use of the bundt pans! I agree with what others said, frost between the layers for stability but also whip the canned frosting to make it fluffy and it will spread a whole lot easier for you for the next cake! Cheers!
