Yes mate, I watched it and found it very helpful that’s why I hope you do more, I’m always looking to learn, I hope a lot of your viewers think the same and want to see your rig making tutorials, best wishes mate.
Hi Darren, fantastic video as always, I love watching all your adventures, I’m a bit of a dinosaur as regards to fishing and just recently trying to get back into it (buying equipment), I’m disabled and all I ever used for my traces where 3 way swivels, I would love it if you have the time to do tutorial videos on how you make your rigs, I understand you are a busy man and it may not be possible, thanks and tight lines my chum!
Hi, firstly, thank you so very much for watching. If you look back a little I have one video on the 2 hook loop rig. However, I am always more than happy to show more rigs. Leaving with me 🙂. All the best my chum.
Hi Ray, they are Super Hard to get your hands on. If you Contact Anglesey Bait Centre. The rod is an Omen Quantum 20 to 80gm . They also do a beastie up to 120 gms. Thanks for watching.
we all have days like that darren, the odd time I fish SSP thats the spot I tend to go just a short walk from the car park, any way another down to earth video as usual keep doing them 👍curry and chips look canny 👌
Been going on the end of South Shield's pier this summer before they started the security. Always went in the morning like 4am. 5, 10, 18, 10, 6 Mackerel per session once per week. Good times at the end. I would actually enjoy fishing off the beach or at the start of the pier using light gear but I have had little to no success this year at the bottom! Enjoy your trip away, let us know how it goes! 🎣👍
I was fishing there 2 weeks ago, and the surface was boiling, a 15-20ft flick was all that was needed. Some people were collecting sprats that jumped onto the slope.
We had a cracking session 2 weeks ago. 30 out in just over 2 hours filled the freezer. Went again last friday and managed only 2. Hoping for a better night this week. High tide at dusk Friday night 🤞
Same for me, used to catch 4 or 5 at a time every cast on daylights when I used to fish at South Shields every weekend. Had one each at Dunstanburgh when I took my son but it was still a nice morning out and had the whole place to ourselves!

Well done 👏. Glad your getting amongst them.
@@northeastangling was great for my 2nd time sea fishing 🤣
did one trip with Kelsy leigh out of South Shields and filled the bait freezer.
Aye, plenty offshore, so I hear. 👍
Last season was more rubbish from the tinsel tossers too,one good thing to come out of the poor season is the tramps staying away
It definitely didn't look as messy if I'm honest.
i tried the north gare , Seaton Carew last weekend and had 21 in about 2 hours there. only problem were the 4 seals you had to fight with to get them
Well done Max. Yes, the seals hammered me up north, too. Little monkeys .
Yeah it’s been really poor the mackerel this year I’ve only caught one and that was Dunstanburgh
It's been tough Chris .

I see myself in this one haha.
I only had 1 that day.
You had one more than me. I should have filmed you instead! 🤣. All the best, mate, and thank you for watching.
I've struggled getting mackerel from the shore in North East Scotland. Those I have managed were pinched by the seals on the way in ☹
I feel your pain buddy. Dunstanburgh was the same. Managed to get enough for bait, so I'm happy 😊. Tight lines
@@northeastangling Hopefully back out on boat next week away from the seals hopefully🤞
@@anotherangleUK you lucky man ! 😅

Thanks Kevin.
Went twice this week only caught 6 Everyone at the top at the gate was pulling them in all the time. Suppose I got some I guess
Definitely mate. It's been tide dependent. Normal loads of the bottom of the pier.
Far too long an intro
Sorry David. Thanks for the feedback though. 👍
