The beauty of fishing, Pick your spot and pick a time. No 18 hole commitment, stay as long as you want or leave when you are sick. Any leftover bait throw in the freezer. For those who don't fish, you cannot underestimate the pleasure you get from catching nowt, a fish is a bonus. I love the NE coast rock marks, but for the older guys out there there are plenty marks where you can park the car and fish from the car. Good video NEA. Keep inspiring
Very kind of you. Also, I could not agree more. Fishing is fishing and all you make of it. Would not be happier doing anything else. All the very best to you.
Thanks for the mention, very kind of you Darren. Really enjoy watching your videos and listening to your chatter. Do take a rod on holiday, it's nice using minimal tackle and just having fun catching whatever is about. Keep the videos coming. Phil.
Thanks very much for the shout out Darren it’s very much appreciated ma freen, I already have a video scheduled for next week but will return the complement on the next one after that bud. Another great video at a nice spot there and a sign of a codling 👌🏻 great stuff pal keep them comming 🎣🐟🐟🐟🦀
Always welcome to post your video's in my group M8 northeast fishermans locker like u have done previously darren like I said anything that's fishing related apart from bonus balls is always welcome and a few of your video's is showing a few marks which I haven't tried and can get car too which is a added bonus keep those videos rolling M8 and tight lines and enjoy your Hols...
Nice peaceful session mate, good to see Friars looking clean and tidy too. As soon as I heard the “aw noo” I literally turned to my partner and said watch it be an Eel; called it! Have a feeling the best bite of the day was that Greggs stottie, sausage and tomatoes haha! Great viewing again mate, got me itching to be back out soon
nice little session bud carnt beat a bit of peace and quiet ,nice to see what a cod looks like lol well done buddy lets hope its start of things to come ,cheers buddy stay safe hope you enjoyed your sausage sandwich
Ah bud, I had the biggest breakfast sandwich. Even got the sausage on the reduced section, what a win 🤣🤣..better things to come I am sure. I hope you're well. All the best 👍
I now know why you quit early... Greggs on ya mind LOL. Another great vid, a snottie, Stottie comes to mind. Have you tried laying the Eel on the deck upside down and smooth out straight? for unhooking, definately works, they go to sleep!
Hi Bob. Greegs is always on my mind...or food in general. Over the years I have tried all the methods of unhooking snottiness. The best by far is a small section of plumbing pipe with a slit cut down the length. These days I just try to avoid the buggers 🤣. I hope you well Bob, thank you for watching.
@@northeastangling I'm well, Darren. I'll be even better once I have had my Egg, Bacon & Mushroom cob for my breakfast.... and yes I do look like a Weeble! LOL
Anyone remember the Friars Goose Open? Used to be fished on Boxing Day or as close to as they could. Way back in the 1980s, I think. Whatever happened to that?
Hi Nick. No affiliation with Century but I can tell you from using the rod for a while it is an excellent rod for the money. Very light, casts extremely well over head or pendulum. Fantastic bite detection. Clean to medium rough ground in my opinion. Actually looking at another for the pair. Tight lines 👍
Hi Peter, thanks for watching. Sea Fishing is not what it was that's for sure. Still have good days. I, too, coarse fish and fly fish. To mix things up. Tight lines whichever fish you target my chum 🫡
Hi mate Name kevin of Sunderland sèe.you on Tube Fish good day mate looking fish Ho a good day in the Sun Mate We you back home From a coffee cup of tea Mate From kevin 😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🍻
@PaulRandolph-b2j I love it . Suits me very well, overhead thump , or pendulum. I am a big fan of glass tips on a fishing rod. Personally I find you lose a little feel if your casting any style where you're winding the rod up compared to full carbon. Still one of my lightest rods I own. Thinking of buying another. The Komp SS is a beautiful rod. Thinking of selling my T900 for one. Tight lines and thank you for the watch 👍
Great clip my friend, first codling iv seen this year.
Chris.
Thank you very much for watching. It will improve. Already better codling near the river mouth. Tight lines.

Thanks for watching Robert. Maybe you can educate me. Why is this area called Friars Goose ?
Hello - Nice venue, used to fish well in the past for codling. What are your thoughts on the Fireblade GT 14?

Shame about the crab after all the problems you had getting them.
They will be great in a month or so. Those fish will eat what I tell em! 🤣
Nothing worse than a slimey bugger mate atleast it was through the lip and didn’t destroy the rig
Thought I had seen the last of those satanic Snakes.
@@northeastangling horrid things mate hopefully in the coming weeks they go back to the hell they came from haha
