A brand new beast of the ocean, does anyone plan to ride this? 🔥
I’ll be on the 2nd sailing, Feb. 3 2024! 🎉
Yep 1st sailing can't wait
April 2024!!!
August 2024🎉🎉
@@sheenamarie9924I'll see you there, I'm on the first sailing also
What a nightmare! 10,000 on a ship at sea. I would rather have teeth pulled

How many of the 10 g will be overly intoxicated....
Sounds like a party to me,if your antisocial stay home and drink 🥤
Imagine thé stink! All thé overweight people over feeding themselves liké walruses
can you imagine should norovirus break out? Is there a refrigerated morgue on board or will they offer burial at sea?
I live less than 10km from this shipyard and i can tell you that this ship is MASSIVE! Amazingly skilled workers
So you live in Turku, Finland😎 Beautiful city❤
must be amazing; be sure not to exhale any CO2, just breathe hydrogen, we must save the planet from carbon ha ha
I would never go on that infectious tub.. You’ll be sick for sure. That’s tighter than down town Hong Kong. Good luck.
rather have my private beach at Turtle Bay Resort , Oahu North Shore
Just stay home and live in perpetual fear

I am all into extravagance, but this ship only sails to the Caribbean. Would love to see this kind of ship sail to Europe.
probably due to all the robberies to travel to Europe (only they don't call it robbery, they have a benign word for it, begins with a T and ends with an X and has an A in the middle
it does sail US to UK. Not all the time tho. Symphony of seas does too.
it will eventually, all new RC cruises start out going to the Bahamas and Mexico, then they start going to other ports, the issue is because of its size, not all ports will permit it to dock, which makes certain countries impossible to cruise to on this ship.
I get too depressed, when I take a Royal Caribbean cruise. They ALWAYS make me get off when its over!
Amazing
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Amazed what a strong team of talented people can accomplish in such a short time.Given the size and complexity of this giant it's truly a marvel. Makes you wonder why it takes our government and their never ending inefficiency a decade to build a war ship. Maybe we should hire this ship yard to build our aircraft carriers. Looks like they would do a much better job. That's because business works and government doesn't.
"Why pay $10 for a hammer when you can pay $1000 for one?" is the general motto of these corrupt government bureaucrats that line their own pockets at the expense of the public at every chance. They're basically opportunistic thieves and it's a culture not an individualistic thing, so it doesn't change the outcome by ousting the people, the "culture and institutions" have to change.
because it isn't "our" government. They rule, you obey. it is called modern day slavery. Oh, BTW, don't breathe out any CO2, the planet is burning up from your exhaust
Large cruise ships such as this are overcrowding many ports.
So what
just crashed the other small boats
The welding alone is an environmental catastrophe, and running on LNG isn't going to save much in CO2 emissions, when you take into account the extra weight
Do you live in a mud hut? If not you should
Yes but probably to costly for me
I don't know if I should like this in the world of travel or not. I am an old fashion traveler. I am afraid that time has passed me by! I travel cheap. I travel solo & I travel on my own schedule. I am afraid this is not for me!! It is however an ichon to man's imagination & achievement!! One cannot deny that!!!!
Agreed - No desire whatsoever to sail on this Ship - All the cruise Guru’s will tell you to avoid the Mega Ships, Cheaper, but such a diminished cruise experience, especially for those who cruise for the experience and destination - I certainly would not go on a cruise ship, that has a water park 😂😂😂 seems like this ship is more oriented to families with young children, so No Thanks !!!
First sailing is January 27th, not 24th
Already Booked baby!!
Although my wife & I are platinum-level cruisers and love to cruise, I’ll take a hard pass on this ship, and any ship that accommodates more than 3K guests.
remember the cruise is bigger so u dont have problem with all that people
@@joesipr The guest capacity is 3X bigger but the ship is less than 2X larger. And the cruise terminal, port of call terminals and port destinations all remain the same size. A hard pass for me.
@@slapdat.byteme dont know until try!!i go in august let u know😂
Basically you don't like cruise ships.... 3k is a riverboat!
@@mikatu Been on more than 25 cruises in the US, Singapore and Australia, so I think I’m reasonably qualified to judge ship capacity. On the other hand, basically you don’t understand the capacity of most passenger ships (riverboats - approx 500 max) and the majority of Carnival / Royal Caribbean / Celebrity / Holland America / Norwegian fleets have capacity below 3K passengers. You can now consider yourself incrementally more educated.
It looks ugly and overcrowded, even without people on it. And, as many (many) many other cruise ships, the bigger they are, when there is a problem (disease, fire, storm, etc.) the more are trapped into a gigantic mouse trap.
welcome to the Titanic
It looks somewhat flat by which I mean that higher air draft might make it look more proportionate. Not higher than by a few percent, of course, it still has to float upright lol.
@@ReynaldoAbasr what does a tiny ocean liner from 111 years ago have to do with a modern cruise ship?
haha .."green hydrogen".. plants don't need hyrdrogen they need Co2 to live and stay green.. if anything hydrogen is brown or black because that's the color of all plants atter you remove their Co2
We submit for your approval. A behemoth deigned to separate self centered hedonists from their money. A symbol of humanities inhumanity.

So I'm ruining the planet if I drive a car but the sky's the limit of you have a credit card.this this burns more fuel in one hour than I would in a lifetime.
The whole environmental thing doesn’t apply if you have a lot of money
Yep. It is worse than that, you're ruining the planet if you exhale CO2. When they say they want "green" hydrogen, it is laughable.. plants need CO2 to stay green. Being "carbon neutral" means they want to get rid of all carbon based life forms, which is all life on Earth.
Man I have saved up all year to take me and my son here next year. I’m so excited I feel guilty , like it’s my first time flying anywhere and going on a cruise, I feel like I’m about to experience years of missed fun in just 7 days
Is it your first cruise. If it is your about have the time of your life. I cruise a lot with Royal Caribbean they are awesome. Have a fab time my friend 😊
One small correction. This will not be the first cruise ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). That would be Carnival Corporation's AIDAnova. And not even the first one based in the US, that would be Carnival's Mardi Gras. It will however be Royal Caribbean's first LNG powered ship I believe. 😊
Yup
I agree
And a larger correction calling LNG "environmentally friendly".

The ship is an abomination.
No thanks, way too many people. Doesn't even look like a ship.
Desalinization is common on many ships; 20 decks as well.
I find it extremely hard to believe something this large and extravagant cost only 2 billion to build. Its absolutely colossal.

@@mikatu weak trolling
@@mikatu Can you tag me in your next "Troll" I would hit the follow button if I could.
Why do we always feel the need to get bigger and bigger? When is it TOO BIG? I think THIS is too big! 7500 passengers and 2500 crew... way too many people for my liking. Yes.. I love to cruise, but it doesn't sound too relaxing with that many people. Just my own humble opinion.
Double the price of cruising and I'll go p it will keep the riffraff off the ships and then if they double the price they can cut the amount of passengers
good setting for a horror movie
Haha
...lmao!😅😅
I’ll stick to medium sized ships !
More enjoyable to me.
This looks cool but the crowds wouldn’t be !
Frankly, this just scares me. Seems like too many firsts , and you can’t test everything prior to actually doing it. I hope I’m wrong but I just think it’s too much.
10k on a ship All at Once .NO WAY . Give Me a Smaller Ship Like Tui Marella .and Where Does the FOOD Come from .and The WASTE of it ?
A truly remarkable feat of design and engineering BUT I would not venture out to sea on it. A cruise is an enjoyable experience and generally cruise liners of comfort do not carry 10,000 people. I have been cruising for decades and have observed these vessels become larger and equipped with entertainment more befitting land based enterprises.
There will be two of these monsters and no doubt competitors will seek to make bigger ones.
Truly major feats of engineering excellence. So was the Titanic in its short lived life.
Foreboding final sentence there!
My nightmare!
Desalination is definitely not new.
Welcome to Phloston Paradise
I'm not much of a cruise guy, but I will definitely ride it if it is not as ensanely expensive as it is insanely amazing!!
"Family Friendly" is a nicer way to say "nightmare"!
It's a beautiful ship but I would never cruise on her. It's way too big and way too many people. I will stick to the smaller ships.
What the hell is happening to cruise ships could go on this Trainwreck and be packed in like sardines and by the way being powered by liquefied natural gas it's no better for the environment
This would be like stuck in Disney World after you crammed it to a fraction of its size but kept all the tourists and screaming kids.
Looks very tacky - I don't know what kind of people it will attract !
I don't think I'd want to spend my holidays with 10,000 other people ...
next FUTURE PROJECT- the ROYAL CARRIBBEAN FLOATING CRUISE SHIP ABOVE THE EARTH
This is ridiculous who needs a ship this large. It would take hours to get off the ship for the excursions. Also way top many people. Not for me
Quote from the original Jurassic Park; "Just because they could, doesn't mean they should".
Awesome ship. As for myself, however, I prefer Windjammer (sailing ship) cruises.
Well then you will be jealous of me because I was first officer on a Tallship ship for 9 years
Who is going to make repairs to this ship while sailing for the $2 an hour they pay for labor?
Yes, I plan on sailing on this floating city!!

10.000 passengers, how many lifeboats will this need?
each one holds 450 people s you do the math
Reminds me of the starship Axiom on the movie Wall-E. If everyone walks around with their cellphones on this ship then the human race in trouble.
You lost me at 10,000 passengers.
10,000 passengers and CREW* so 7,500 passengers
Wali ? Good for tying up in New York to house all those homeless millionaires😂
It is not the first cruise ship with LNG … AIDA cruises AIDAprima launched in 2014, is already powered by LNG … Royal carribean is far far away from being environmentally friendly….
Good grief! It’s an amazing feat of engineering, which is commendable in terms of enterprise and innovation, but I wouldn’t sail on her. I’ll stay with the Star Breeze size, thank you.
Would this still qualify as a Panamax vessel, or would she have to use the new locks when transiting the Panama Canal?
With all this fuss about going green, and evs and solar panels. Why do you keep building stuff like this? What is the carbon footprint? Stop pushing you green energy till you do something about flights and big cruise ships. Greed begets greed.
Do American's who book get a steep discount for bailing out with our tax dollars the cruise ship industry?
Does it have fast wifi?
Yet another ship that combines the condo look with awful pre-Dreadnaught bow.
i am already booked....cant wait!
It is an impressive ship. Desalination is something all ships have, even all cargo ships have that.
But would I go on vacation on a ship like that, never in my life NO NO NO 😂 😂😂
It's a complete eyesore and would only be enjoyable if all land flooded and we had no other option. Also did I mention indentured slavery? I.e. cruise ship employment.
Awesome go on vacation with 10,000 people! sounds fun!
10,000 people & I Never saw ONE Lifeboat? And just imagine the Covid Outbreak! BIGGER is NOT Better!
imagine being scared of covid weeks away from 2024 and not knowing basic maritime LAWS
@@tyler93539 Did you realize that the meme of saying "Imagine" this or that, is actually even older than Covid-19?
Also, why is it surprising to you that the average person doesn't understand maritime laws? That really isn't common knowledge in a country where we struggle to correctly place all 50 states on a map.
When it sinks in relatively shallow water it will make the most EPIC recreational dive site in history. However, it's so tall that you'll definitely have to live by your compression diving tables if you plan to explore more than a few decks of it.
The damned thing looks like it's top heavy in the extreme and seeing all that surface area above the waterline, all I can think of is "sail area" and "what happens if it takes a heavy gust of wind abeam? Probably it falls over."
I would party on this cool ship going one way for 3 or 4 days (drop me off), with 10, 000 of my closest and newest friends plus temporary families I may forget. Worth it.😀
We are leaving on this ship 2 March from Miami 2024
that thing is ridiculous. it is not a ship that is sea worthy in a bad storm.if that tub took a big wave midships it would roll over with all that steel above the water line. it is nothing more then a people barge . it is the last place i would ever go for a good peaceful quite vacation. if you like to be jammed onto a barge with 7000 hot sweaty sun screened up slobs in speedo's , nasty loud obnoxious people looking at you all the time its the way to go. if you want to be packed in with thousands of people go to New York or any other big city or Vagus and blow your money. i don't care how glitzy they make it or what they jam on to it, its still a big floating turd people barge not a ship. they will be running that tub up on the beach in india to be scrapped in five years if it don't sink first in a storm. its a 250,000 ton scam to get your money.

I love ships, but this thing is ridiculous ugly 🤮
