The trilogy got shoved under the carpet by alot of fans back in the day, these albums were great and were so under appreciated, how can you not get noatalgic vibes from these?

I always quite liked ¡Uno! I thought it was good, kind of similar to 21st century breakdown with a little bit of dookie thrown into some of the songs, but I don't really like ¡Dos! much, it does have a couple of good songs though. And I haven't really listened to ¡Tré! that much so no judgement/comment.

I know people are saying Green Day aren't as good as they used to be, but I think that's bullshit! They have evolved, sure, but they are still awesome! If you look at them and the rest of the 'artists' around now, there is no comparison whatsoever, they are far superior!

Sophie, I totally agree. Green Day proved a punk song can be complex , and still great. I give them credit also for keeping punk alive in the 90s. I took those days for granted. With them and the VANS WARPED TOUR, I thought it we be thriving forever, but today sadly the scene is scarce. That said, I did catch TSOL, and The Casualties perform, and I'm gonna see Agent Orange soon! I'm 49 and having a blast ! (I just sprayed my mohawk blue!!)

I think that this vid and the whole uni dos trilogy deserves more attention and love, it's not bad work it's actually pretty good, it was just a different direction. I'm a post dookie era fan, and I'm in love with their early work but I love their modern work too, too many ppl don't give their latest work a chance.

As great as this song is and modern Green Day are, they haven't really been punk since Nimrod. Granted, they're still awesome (I think American Idiot is their best album), but it's more alt rock or pop-punk than straight punk anymore.
As true as your statement is, I also think that change is important. As they grow and mature as people, their music is always going to be changing and evolving with them. In my opinion, that's a good thing.

Dont care what anyone says. One of the grestest bands of all time. Tre Cool with the tempo and power on the drum set. Mike Dirnt , what else do you want out of a bassist, i mean really,,, he is a stud on the 4 string. Billy Joe's song writing ability,,,,, insane. His vocals ,style, creatvity...... Mind blowing... Jason White fills in any void with his accoustic and color sound.. Great sound, its just so close to perfect.

I have listened to many bands over the years from Mick asking to "spend some time together" on the Ed Sullivan Show, The Who with the Smothers Brothers, Jon Landau's prophetic vision of Springsteen, and then a few years in the U2 Camp. I honestly cannot state that I was a follower of Green Day, but over the last year I have found myself researching your musical history and filling in all the blanks. I haven't quite caught up to your entire history, and I hope that you continue to find inspiration and motivation to continually grow. Hope that the fame and fortune don't distract you to much. Loved the mud fight and was happy to see you on the ice in St. Louis.

Uno dos and tre are definitely underrated albums of green day for how great they are, these people are my idols and cant call yourself a die hard fan of green day if you don't understand how underrated and awesome these albums are as well as the rest of their albums, not to mention they are in their 40s and they are still going on, they're still making music and they're still a great band.
