I LOVED watching this! Harks back to the beginning when I started watching your channel when you did lots of de-cluttering😊 - We pretty much followed your lead and emptied all our wardrobes onto our beds and got rid of most of our clothes and belongings! Of course all these years later with 2 little ones the stuff has crept back (I would still say mostly kids)..😅 but I actually get a lot of comfort, and it feels really familiar now after watching your channel for years, from watching your 'sort outs' and the focus on 2nd hand, sustainable fashion is fab. I think its so positive that you speak about body issues, that we all can have, with such honesty and openess. We are also a semi-travelling family and we stayed not to far from Truro/Falmouth area for a month a while back and loved it, such a beautiful part of the country! Just thought after all these years I would finally comment (I sound like a secret stalker!) but really do love your channel and all the home renovations and vintage hauls etc. 🥰
Every time you do one of these closet change overs I am blown away by your beautiful collection of dresses. I struggle mightily finding dresses I love so I’m dazzled by it 🥹. The shirt dresses with the open collars suit you so well. As do all the jewel tones and the whites. I think the jury is in: you’re definitely a winter. You look stunning with the red lips and nails. Love the jumpsuit you put on first. Wow. Perfect for you. It makes sense that you love your overalls because they, like your dresses, suit you so well. I think, personally, that it’s FABULOUS that you have so many dresses. You adore them and they suit you. They’re like a signature style. You have the perfect figure for them. You look regal and stunning in them. That sleeveless black jumpsuit you were uncertain of but decided to keep because it is comfy has a neckline that I thought looked fantastic as well. A bit more dramatic. Ok this felt like a running commentary … sorry to blather on 😂❤

Maddie, have you ever considered scarves? I feel like they could be an easy way to add colour and print to your more subdued pieces and there are a million ways to tie them! You also look so good in more vibrant/saturated hues, it would be lovely having them close to your face.
Love all the floaty patterned and vintage dresses. I agree to sell the linen dress at 22:44, and the way the split in the front gets wider to the sides makes it seem like it's not cut for wider curvy hips and you have so many other gorgeous dresses that suit your body type so well
You don’t need excuses to have a big or small wardrobe 🤗 what’s matter is it makes you happy 🤍 I have a big collection of linen dresses and want to add a white one from son de flor new collection ! This bold for me I only have colors 😆.
i've also always had a lot of dark body hair and it intensified with pcos, too. i've reached a point now where i'm embracing it in certain areas and using ipl in others and i love it. for anyone doing ipl in the face/chin area where it's tempting to pluck or wax, you can pluck/wax the day before you use the ipl but after using it you need to wait at least 10 days before you can pluck or wax again. shaving is fine in the meantime but the root needs to stay in for some time, otherwise it won't work properly :)
Oh Maddie you are far too hard on yourself. You are a beautiful young woman with a normal body. Even skinny people don't look good in everything they wear, no matter how much society tries to make us think otherwise. Keep doing what you're doing. xxx
organic basics were sold to delta galil two years ago, which (used to) operate in the west bank area on illegally occupied land (according to the UN human rights council). not actually sure what happened since the war started but they're not a brand i feel ok supporting anymore :(

I agree, definitely a winter. High contrast colours look best- red, black, deep green, all look amazing on her. For lighter colours I think the cool tones are best even if they are a bit low contrast eg. The light pink jumper. But ultimately everyone should wear what they like! I’m cool toned but my makeup and hair makes me more neutral and so I do love some warmer tones sometimes.
First I think you are gorgeous in everything. I agree about what you say about body image. The ones you thought were too small, particularly the one your friend gave you that you gave to a charity shop I personally thought it was so flattering on you. My personal opinion is that the ones you really like sometimes seem a little big to me. They still look amazing but I can see the type that you feel a bit more comfortable in. I love when you do these types of videos. ❤
I agree with you completely!!! They were not too small at all!! I always gravitate to clothes a size or so too big and I am always told by the store clerks or person with me…. It took me until about 3 yrs ago to actually try on my correct size (I’m in my 40’s!!!)…. Lo and behold, they all looked sooooo much better! But took ALOT to get used to how different all the clothes felt on my body and still often times I have those bad body image days where I feel whatever article of clothing I have on is too small and I can’t wear it…. Then 2 days later, it feels fine!!!
I've been watching your videos for several years now and you've mentioned many times that you struggle with weight fluctuations and difficulty staying motivated to exercise. and I have to write to you that you are worrying unnecessarily because you are so beautiful. you have beautiful feminine curves and a healthy body, love it for how it serves you and what you can experience thanks to it. body hair, curves, it's all you and you're a goddess. ❤

The concept of a perfect body has changed 1000 times throughout history. It’s a marketing ploy to sell clothes, cosmetics, etc. If there really was a perfect body, it would always be the same type, and yet we have had the bodies of Marilyn Monroe, Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian and now many fitness models worshipped, all within a single generation. Every body is beautiful x

You looked amazing in everything you tried on, but what I didn’t understand was how you said “you’ve seen me in this all the time, or I wear this all the time in my vlogs”…..when I’ve literally seen you wear it once or twice. I’ve watched every video of yours for many year and I disagree. I don’t think you wear those clothes on camera as much as you think. I’m actually blown away by the amount of clothes you own. There aren’t enough days in the year to wear each item once, let alone multiple times. We all get comfortable in a few different items and wear them most of the time. I’m not sure you were realistic with your declutter, but of course it’s up to you. You have soooooo many clothes!!!!!

I always thought it wasn't for me or not 'trendy' but colour makes me so happy! I need to get myself some colourful trainers and bags as well.

Hi Maddie, I’m a decade older and have almost identical coloring and can say that I get away with winter colors and spring summer depending on how tan I am. Don’t worry about it to be honest, if you love how you look in it who cares! ❤

And don’t be worried about the number of dresses you possess, I have at least as many ( all second hand) and I love them 😊
