Yes, acceptance when it happens, with the knowledge that it is part of one's makeup, and that life will be on the upswing again.

48:06 for me, tofu is something that feels really special so i end up "saving it". been trying really hard to stop doing that so started buying loads so it doesn't feel like that one block in the fridge should be used for a special meal haha

I disagree! I’ve talked about this a lot on my channel and I believe buying secondhand leather to be the most sustainable and ethical choice. My bag was also vegan leather!

I relate sooooo much to what you said about being a person who lives their life with anxiety, OCD, depressive tendencies, etc. I'm 27, and I have also had a decent bit of therapy, and I have spent a lot of time on mindfulness and working on my mental health more broadly. I have come so far and know how to manage these things now. And I know what NOT to do when I'm feeling in those places.
When you mentioned OCD my stomach flipped - I'm going through CBT for OCD at the minute and it's so difficult but we know it's for the best and you've made me realise I need to look at my progress! Thank you for sharing Maddie🤍 Also what kitchen knifes do you use?

That first dress and the red one were beautiful on you. The peachy one was lovely too but very close to your skin tone so doesn't stand out as much as the others. I hate shopping for jeans, and trousers in general because of my body shape. The ones you got looked great. I'm a big fan of M&S boots (and footwear), I have several pairs in their vegan leather. Of course all women go through both, but we aksonhave bowel movements, and don't need to go on about those also. There is PLENTY you can touch on, discuss going on in your life. Comparing periods to bowel movements really infuriates me because it shows how in our society women's bodies are still considered dirty and taboo.. she's not even talking about the details of it, Madeleine focuses on the effects on her mental health more than anything...I wish i had people talking about it when i was young and clueless ❤ go Maddie
