Recorded at Sama Nete - the World of the Master Plant Diet - Miguel Ochavano's deep jungle retreat center (outside of Paoyhan, Lower Ucayali River, Peru. Sunday Sept 25/ 2016).
During this trip, I spent seven months living in the jungle with Miguel & sons, practicing the traditional Master Plant Diet and celebrating Ayahuasca ceremonies.
This ceremony opens with Avigael Rony (Miguel's son). Miguel comes in around 5min 30. Ismael Romero, another one of Miguel's sons, appears later on. The slideshow goes on for about twenty minutes, then simply features my book cover artwork.
Amazon Jungle Spirit is the story of my introduction to plant spirit shamanism, in 2005. The book describes my first Ayahuasca ceremonies in Santa Teresita, a peaceful Shipibo community on Cashibococha, then to the Upper Ucayali River for more ceremonies and a month-long diet with Ajo Sacha, living on a shaman's isolated jungle property on the edge of the Ucayali River.
