This documentary aims is to give back the speech to first people of Peru and to present their culture, their ancestral medicine; the Shipibo-Conibo.
A 47-minute documentary translated in English by Wexa Metsa.
With interviews of Maestro “Ricardo Amaringo”.
Visionary Art with the works of two world-renowned painters such as “Anderson Debernardi” and “Juan Carlos Taminchi”.
From the “Icaros” (ancestral shamanic songs) of the great Maestra “Olivia Arevalo” her son “Julian” and also “Ricardo Amaringo”.
It was a real challenge to be able to offer you these translations of Icaros because Olivia and Julian Arevalo practice a very old Shipibo, we needed 5 years to make these translations which we hope will be most useful for you and the most accurate to understand their ancestral culture !!!

I just arrived from an 8 week retreat working with Ayahuasca and Noya Rao and the Shapibo people took me in as family. The Amazon/Shapibo people are now part of my DNA. I can never go back to who I was.

This is the most beautiful, mesmerising, meditative film I've ever seen on the subject. Truly does justice to what is essentially an ineffable experience, with the same depth and delicacy as the plants, and the healers trained to work with them. Bravo for such beautiful filmaking.
I believe Maestra Olivia was the Shipibo Maestra who was murdered for her indigenous/forest leadership activism. Strange synchronicities and circumstances brought that news to me the day after her passing. I received the clear message and loving reassurance that all would be well, both with her and with our world. May she rest both in power and in peace, in the space where both of these are powerfully twined together.
I just watched this again...for I don't know which time.....and every time I'm deeply touched and bring the energy from this this into my own ceremonies celebrating these beautiful people and their wonderful tradition (in which I myself have been trained) Irake, irake, irake 🙏
OUTSTANDING PRESENTATION! The Divine Spark is strong here. Mostly the Feminine aspect of the Divine Archetype. Spiritually speaking..and this will be ackward for most religions, but spiritually speaking...the indigenas tribes are the most advanced "philosophy" on Earth´s surface. Not the people...but the philosophy!. This is a game changer because it represent the Feminine aspect of the Divinity...coming strongly at this time, because IT´S TIME! It is opening strongly the EMOTIONAL SIDE and NATURAL DIVINE SENSATIONS AND FREQUENCIES! The Ayahuasca is a Divinely Certified Plant for connecting humans with Mother Earth CONSCIOUSNESS.
Excellent film. I will be sharing this great work. I loved that he mentions the phase about meeting your own darkness. Usually, people like to think it comes from the outside, but the medicine will eventually teach you these are monsters you bring with you.

Hi we would love to share it but the maestro when we recorded him asked us to not share those written Icaros he allow us for translating them in the documentary only.
My father is of Andean region, Peru. He passed away, how can I go about finding what tribe he was from? Anyone?
