The beanie pattern is lovely! I love seeing the progress on your field cardigan. That green is just divine! I think the lighter buttons would be really pretty.
I also have a hard time telling the difference between fisherman's rib and brioche. I love watching and hearing your cats run around. 😹 It's hilarious! I really like your hat designs. 🧶
Please don’t worry about the cats playing in the background. They are a joy to watch and don’t take from the podcast. Your hats are beautiful. Another awesome podcast. Looking forward to the holiday patterns.
What a great pallet, wonderful colours on you. You seem to have picked a great consultant to work with you, giving great recommendations. Glad your palette reflects your stash so well. Just continue to build on your intuition! Thought though, that your Ankers tee was a derivate of your skin cokour and not so much a pastel cokour and thereby it might actually work on you for that reason. Thank you for charing your experience.
And if you don’t have stitch markers that fit a particular size needle you can make stitch markers with scrap yarn or crochet cotton. Make a loop knot with tails. It works great.
I like both depending on what you’re going for. I think the lighter buttons would give it a more casual feel. The darker, more classic and a bit less casual.
So looking forward to the beanie pattern. I’ve never done stranded colorwork but I’m going to try this. I vote for the lighter buttons. The black is a little too high contrast for the green.
I think the light buttons you have are lovely and classic- if you wanted to look at something colorful Tabitha Sewer buttons came to mind, there's a local shop Wyldwood Creative near Seattle that carries some
I really liked the lighter buttons as well. What is the sweater on the mannequin? Also, when do you think the Ivy cowl pattern will be released? I think I may have to make it :)
If you still have the 23 inch pattern, i would gladly testknit that one! I have a 24 inch head and a lot of hair so I like my beanies to not be so tight.
I think the lighter buttons look better. I think the black just has too much with the black and the white in it on the green so yes, I like the lighter buttons. I see it like you see it.
I like the darker button that mimics the black bits in the sweater. Don’t worry about the kitties playing. They’re so cute to watch and I love cats!
I think I agree after seeing it on screen. Thanks so much!

Right? They're pretty interchangeable! Hehe thanks, they're pretty silly.

Thank you so much!
black buttons.😀
Same!
I agree now! It wasn't until I took the photo that I realized the same thing.
I much prefer the darker buttons on your green cardigan. I think it pulls out a dark colour in the yarn.

I thought about doing that! It's a great tip if you don't have any available.
Loving your episdoes, thank you very much!
I really appreciate it, thanks for watching!
I like the lighter buttons 😀
Darker buttons give you a more elegant feel. Lighter ones look more relaxed. It always depends on what you plan the sweater to be worn at
I think I prefer the darker buttons after seeing them on screen. Thanks for your input!!
I like the darker buttons, I think they would go better with the green.
I think I agree after seeing them on screen!
thanks for another nice video :)
I really like the darker buttons, but I think the lighter ones work better for the cardigan.
Thanks so much!

I'm leaning toward the black now that I've seen them on screen. Isn't it funny how much it helps to take a step away and look again?

Oh thank you, I need to go check them out!
You could try some natural wood buttons. The white ones do look nice.
That's a great idea too.
I prefer the lighter buttons for your Field Day.
It's such a tough call!
I like the dark buttons more, the light ones feel too high contrast for me personally. Both look good with the cardigan though 🙂
I actually agree with you now after seeing them on screen!
Darker looks better to me but you get to be the boss of you 😂
Haha I think I agree now that I've seen them on screen
were they pigeon wishes buttons? they are a UK based button company with fun speckled button
That sounds SO familiar! I'm going to look those up now, thank you!
I really liked the lighter buttons as well. What is the sweater on the mannequin? Also, when do you think the Ivy cowl pattern will be released? I think I may have to make it :)
Thanks so much! That's the Debonnaire Sweater by Renate Dziedataja. My Under the Ivy Cowl pattern should be available the first week of October!
Love that cowl! Love the beanie!
Does anyone have a 25” head?
*runs for a tape measure to measure head*
Haha I honestly don't know! This was the first time I really thought about a maximum size for heads 🤷🏻♀️
If you still have the 23 inch pattern, i would gladly testknit that one! I have a 24 inch head and a lot of hair so I like my beanies to not be so tight.
Oh that's so good to know, maybe I'll add it back in!
I am pretty sure it’s pronounced M-ah-s. Love your kitties in the background!
Oh good to know, thank you!

What yarn is that green that you used? It looks really pretty.
It's Hazel Knits Lively DK in the colorway Shanny Pants 😊
I have a 23” head (lots of hair!) and I am very petite…120lbs, 5’2”. I’m thinking that someone will need a 25” hat.
That's good to know, thank you! I've added the large size back in for testing, so I'm curious to see how it works out.
