This video has the same energy as talking with your best friend at a sleepover at 2am :) I've watched so many people talk about why "that" girl is toxic, but its nice to hear that you can still do these things and be working on ourselves instead of striving for an unrealistic idea and image.

"It's about making decisions that allow ourselves to improve every single day." YES. Doing this means customizing your actions to yourself! Not to become "THAT girl." Your mindset speaks similar ideas to my video about how people should switch gears to focus on becoming their own "THIS girl." It's awesome that you're making genuine, inspirational content for more people to get this message.

I just agree with everything you just said, It is crazy how we feel less of a human just because we don't do like everybody else. I just feel like it is really unrealistic and maybe something that can work for me might not work for you. I just love the content and I cannot wait for more !!!

I've been through all of that in my twenties, even though apps like instagram, facebook and tiktok were not around yet, we had magazines and tv which also promoted similar stuff. That all falls apart when you reach late 20's or early 30's, you realize that way of life is simply not sustainable on the long run.
Yes there are people who live like that and more power to them, but there's nothing wrong in living a quiet life, one that suits you and makes you happy. When you become happy you stop caring about how others perceive you. Your life is your own, live it however you want it and however it suits you. It is okay to try this way or that way, at the end, things will clear up and you will know what you want and how you want it.

Good point this is what "that girl " should be about your self not to empress others. Our happiness is in our hands not others.

I had to stop with the idea of productivity. The idea of being productive every day and every second literally caused a relapse in my mental health. The that girl trend is aesthetic and that's really all that it is. I think there is this weird obsession with finding the "perfect lifestyle" without realizing that perfection is subjective and should never be a global standard. I am finally going back to a healthy mindset and lifestyle but it literally took me months to realize the toxic thoughts I developed due to consuming videos that were saying things that turned out to be harmful (to me personally).

Here’s my thoughts about the trend! I think you should sleep enough! ( it’s very important and and affects ur health dramatically if u don’t sleep enough) next part of the trend is to take care of ur self definitely do this! Next part eat healthy uh about this part YOU DONT NEED TO GO VEGAN VEGETARIAN KETO IF THAT JUST DOSENT MAKE U FEEL GOOD You should balance it out! Healthy food & junk! Eat for pleasure and for health DONT be to strict on ur food or ur self next journaling this part is very calming i& u want a hobby or luv writing I recommend this! This isn’t a very
Necessary thing but I recommend! Reading: if ur lacking this DO THIS IT CHANGED ME IN A GOOD WAY DRAMATICALLY I feel way less stress when I read* if u rlly DONT wanna that’s ok! Aesthetic: it’s pretty but we understand why it’s toxic but also NO-ONE wants to post them self to the entire world looking crusty having a lazy day or not having an Pinterest life! YOU DONT NEED TO HAVE AN AESTHETIC LIFE TO BE HAPPY! Don’t change ur self be WHO U are

They all promote to be the best version of yourself. And you need to eat healthy, eat balanced, sleep normal hours to be healthy. This trend is simply promote to take care of yourself.

I used to beat myself up every day for not being 'that girl' but 'that girl' wasn't someone on tik tok. They were people like Cristina Yang from Grey's anatomy, Jennifer Aniston from friends. Which is worse because they were literally reading from a script. But for some reason, i couldn't stop it, even though i knew perfectly well how irrational of me. Anyone else go through this same problem?

I totally understand. It is hard to decipher between truth and reality, and social media only blurs those lines more. You are not alone in comparing yourself to characters you see on TV. They are supposed to be a reflection of reality, and we often internalize that to mean, "if I am not like them, I am unworthy." You are so worthy. you have to remember that people only share what they chose to share. It is only part of the story. Don't be comparing your moments of insecurity to their moments of peak confidence. We are all going through this, you got this!
