Great video my friend. I am a Veteran in Hitman (1-2-3) and what you talks about in this Video is something every one should watch before buy the game. The mess is insane and I, that wants every part of this incredible good game has often ended up buying stuff I already own. And at the release of Hitman 3 it were only available on "Epic Game". (Epic Game and Steam are PC Game platforms) This forced me to abandon my Hitman 3 on "Steam" and move it to "Epic Game" Later Hitman 3 became available on "Steam" also. I then decided to buy full version of the Game on "Steam" also. Oboy were that a mess! Luckily I knew what I wanted since I Played the game for a long time. So I manage to get it straight after a while. But I can only imagine how messy this would be if you are a new player. So once again great and very well needed video.
Thanks for this video was a bit short on cash, nearly bought part one thinking it'd be the basic edition of Hitman 3 - dodged a bullet thanks to this video, good thing I checked around before wasting my money. I see my options are now Hitman WOA or Hitman WOA Deluxe Edition. Also, is there a difference when getting Hitman WOA and then getting the Hitman WOA Deluxe "PACK" with those three dlc items on the store page? Hi, thank you for the comment, I'm glad I could help. For your first question, I would say just get HITMAN WoA Standard Edition, as it provides hours of content already. It's the one I got and it's more than enough for me. And your second question, which may answer your first one too. The Deluxe Edition will mainly include 'The Sarajevo Six' and 'Seven Deadly Sins' DLC, which are new targets on the same maps from the HITMAN trilogy main story. The other third DLC on the store page you mentioned, (I believe it is the 'HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion Pass') will come with HITMAN WoA Standard Edition, as it appears in my library, and I didn't buy the Deluxe Edition. Purchasing the Deluxe Edition will give you access to all of HITMAN WoA's content. I hope this helps :)

The answer is yes, but I would say those two missing levels are not crucial to the story. I believe they take place after the HITMAN 2 story but the plot still functions without them.
As someone who bought part one, im actually pretty satisfied with my purchase. I got exactly what was advertised to me (even if it did take weeks to find out what exactly that was) and i got it on sale for $5.00USD, which is a pretty good deal for those of us who are financially challenged, especially because now the full trilogy is only like $50 total. I wouldnt recommend the free trial though. Its exactly 3 levels, 2 of which are mostly the same thing. It just isnt a great representation of the main game. If they included paris i think it would be good though, even if they removed ica facility to add paris
Yes, part one is not necessarily a bad purchase by any means. it can be a great purchase for people new to the series or for people in situations exactly like you mentioned. The way it's advertised initially can be confusing, but all the information required to understand exactly what it is is all in the description. I just made this simple video because there are a lot of steam users who don't read and comprehend what they're actually buying, which can probably be attributed to a core problem unrelated to the product. My aim was to reduce the number of people writing bad reviews on the steam page because they didn't get what they thought they would. Sorry, can I just ask, when they say "best of 1 and 2", does that mean they put the entire first two games into this one? Only parts of it? Reason I ask is because I got the first 2 games from long ago through Humble Bundle, but if I were to get the full World of Assassination or Deluxe Edition version of Hitman 3, would there be any reason to play through the other 2 games from their own download in Steam library, or would I play everything through this World of Assassination launcher?
They put all of the HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 levels into HITMAN 3. There is no need to even have the previous games installed. You can play any level using HITMAN 3 (World of Assassination.)

1. No worries, I hope it helped. 2. as of April 13 2024 - I believe you must purchase HITMAN World of Assassination in order to play HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 levels through it. You can not get it for free. Your previous HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 purchases do not carry over, instead HITMAN WoA acts as a new game that includes HITMAN 3 levels, with the previous (HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2) levels integrated into it. HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 are no longer purchasable on Steam, however you can still play them if they are in your library. 3. If you want to play the HITMAN 3 missions, you must purchase either HITMAN World of Assassination (Standard Edition) or HITMAN World of Assassination Deluxe Edition. HITMAN 3 is technically only playable inside World of Assassination. Buying either of these versions will also grant you access to HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 levels.

I recently started absolution and I’m having quite some fun so I want to get WoA (or whatever it is called). There is still confusion though: there is the standard edition which costs around 30€ right now in summer sale , there’s deluxe edition for 45€ and deluxe bundle pack for 20€ . It's so fkn confusing. The stuff I actually wanted cost me as DLC. Other crap DLC's are actually just cosmetic changes. Base pack of WOA gives you very, very little.
I would argue the opposite and say that the base standard edition of HITMAN WOA easily gives you more than 100 hours of content. If you don't wanna waste your time with cosmetics, getting the HITMAN 2 expansion pass gives you NEW YORK and MALDIVES, two extra maps. That's the only DLC I've bought.
I bought Part One for 3€ (90% discount) today. I think this the only fair price to test this game out in 6 Missions. For the original price this would be a complete costumer ripoff

Yes, that's how it works. Same reason why you would pay full price for Halo 3 even if you already own Halo 1 and Halo 2. You are paying for HITMAN 3 levels, and as a bonus, you get to also launch your previously purchased HITMANs from the same launcher.

Steam or io needs to make an update to this game because I am not the only one that this has happened to, I even tried to contact steam support they said to verify integrity of the game files, uninstall and reinstall the game and it’s dlcs and I did all of that and still nothing, I get the same results over and over then they said to contact io support which I get the feeling that they will just say the same thing, to anyone thinking of doing what I just did your gonna get ripped off just buy the game on console. Thanks for this video was a bit short on cash, nearly bought part one thinking it'd be the basic edition of Hitman 3 - dodged a bullet thanks to this video, good thing I checked around before wasting my money. I'll just have to wait to get the full thing. Hi, thank you for the comment, I'm glad I could help. For your first question, I would say just get HITMAN WoA Standard Edition, as it provides hours of content already. It's the one I got and it's more than enough for me.
And your second question, which may answer your first one too.
The Deluxe Edition will mainly include 'The Sarajevo Six' and 'Seven Deadly Sins' DLC, which are new targets on the same maps from the HITMAN trilogy main story. The other third DLC on the store page you mentioned, (I believe it is the 'HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion Pass') will come with HITMAN WoA Standard Edition, as it appears in my library, and I didn't buy the Deluxe Edition. Purchasing the Deluxe Edition will give you access to all of HITMAN WoA's content.

The answer is yes, but I would say those two missing levels are not crucial to the story. I believe they take place after the HITMAN 2 story but the plot still functions without them.

As someone who bought part one, im actually pretty satisfied with my purchase. I got exactly what was advertised to me (even if it did take weeks to find out what exactly that was) and i got it on sale for $5.00USD, which is a pretty good deal for those of us who are financially challenged, especially because now the full trilogy is only like $50 total. I wouldnt recommend the free trial though. Its exactly 3 levels, 2 of which are mostly the same thing. It just isnt a great representation of the main game. If they included paris i think it would be good though, even if they removed ica facility to add paris
Yes, part one is not necessarily a bad purchase by any means. it can be a great purchase for people new to the series or for people in situations exactly like you mentioned. The way it's advertised initially can be confusing, but all the information required to understand exactly what it is is all in the description. I just made this simple video because there are a lot of steam users who don't read and comprehend what they're actually buying, which can probably be attributed to a core problem unrelated to the product. My aim was to reduce the number of people writing bad reviews on the steam page because they didn't get what they thought they would.
I also agree and think they should add Paris to the demo because Paris was available for free when HITMAN 1 first released in 2016.

Sorry, can I just ask, when they say "best of 1 and 2", does that mean they put the entire first two games into this one? Only parts of it?
Reason I ask is because I got the first 2 games from long ago through Humble Bundle, but if I were to get the full World of Assassination or Deluxe Edition version of Hitman 3, would there be any reason to play through the other 2 games from their own download in Steam library, or would I play everything through this World of Assassination launcher?
They put all of the HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 levels into HITMAN 3. There is no need to even have the previous games installed. You can play any level using HITMAN 3 (World of Assassination.)

2. as of April 13 2024 - I believe you must purchase HITMAN World of Assassination in order to play HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 levels through it. You can not get it for free. Your previous HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 purchases do not carry over, instead HITMAN WoA acts as a new game that includes HITMAN 3 levels, with the previous (HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2) levels integrated into it. HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 are no longer purchasable on Steam, however you can still play them if they are in your library.
3. If you want to play the HITMAN 3 missions, you must purchase either HITMAN World of Assassination (Standard Edition) or HITMAN World of Assassination Deluxe Edition. HITMAN 3 is technically only playable inside World of Assassination. Buying either of these versions will also grant you access to HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 levels.

I recently started absolution and I’m having quite some fun so I want to get WoA (or whatever it is called). There is still confusion though: there is the standard edition which costs around 30€ right now in summer sale , there’s deluxe edition for 45€ and deluxe bundle pack for 20€ . It's so fkn confusing. The stuff I actually wanted cost me as DLC. Other crap DLC's are actually just cosmetic changes. Base pack of WOA gives you very, very little.
I would argue the opposite and say that the base standard edition of HITMAN WOA easily gives you more than 100 hours of content.
If you don't wanna waste your time with cosmetics, getting the HITMAN 2 expansion pass gives you NEW YORK and MALDIVES, two extra maps. That's the only DLC I've bought.
I bought Part One for 3€ (90% discount) today.
I think this the only fair price to test this game out in 6 Missions.
For the original price this would be a complete costumer ripoff

Yes, that's how it works. Same reason why you would pay full price for Halo 3 even if you already own Halo 1 and Halo 2. You are paying for HITMAN 3 levels, and as a bonus, you get to also launch your previously purchased HITMANs from the same launcher.

Steam or io needs to make an update to this game because I am not the only one that this has happened to, I even tried to contact steam support they said to verify integrity of the game files, uninstall and reinstall the game and it’s dlcs and I did all of that and still nothing, I get the same results over and over then they said to contact io support which I get the feeling that they will just say the same thing, to anyone thinking of doing what I just did your gonna get ripped off just buy the game on console. I even tried to get a refund and basically story short they said no of course they did what did I expect
