ipsagelboy it's *Trypophobia, and no it''s not that, those pictures encircling the net (the ones with the parasites protruding from underneath the skin through many holes) are still tolerable for me, not phobia inducing but rather just gross and disturbing, real phobias tend to have permanent mental damages when really encountered.
I am afraid of underwater creatures, pictures etc. I even have nightmares about it sometimes, so I'm for example dreaming that in school we're watching a whole series of pictures of freaky, cruel creatures that live underwater and I just can't close my eyes and have to see all of them. Only by writing this I have so many pictures inside my head that I'm almost crying. And now guess, which video was recommended for me under this. Right. BEAUTIFUL UNDERWATER POP-UP BOOK. For example, someone passes out during a test. Now, every single test I take, I have a panic attack because I'm afraid of passing out. And no matter how hard I try to convince myself that I won't, and that statistics say I won't, the lightheadedness and almost hyperventilation don't go away. So.... if you just don't like something or are scared of something it IS NOT a phobia. This is a common misconception and it annoys me half to death.
This is so true. I have a combination of acrophobia and claustrophobia. I have missed job interviews or important appointments time and time again simply because I have to try hard not to get a panic attack stepping into an elevator. Short buildings are fine, I take the stairs. But those that take place in really tall ones? i have to show up hours early. My whole day is spent in one building.
Carolyn Jeung i always love seeing or meeting people who have the same phobia of me (the vomit one). sometimes i feel as though i’m the only one who has this fear and it makes me even more anxious.

I didn’t realise how bad my phobia of spiders was until I couldn’t look at a DRAWING of a spider Edit* To everyone who's replied, I relate on a spiritual level lol
I found this book as a kid and it freaked me out so bad, but now as an adult I’m just in awe of how well made and creative it is, the detail of claustrophobia not letting you open the book open fully is so brilliant.
I'm sorry, but I feel like a lot of people claiming they have trypophobia (or any trendy phobia for that matter) are either making it up for a trend or are completely mistaken on what a phobia is. It's one thing to be scared or feel disgusted by something, but a phobia is something that stops you from living your life. Let's say you don't like vomit. You think it's gross and you hate the feeling and smell of it, and you might even be a little scared when you throw up. That's fine and it's completely normal. Vomiting isn't pleasant. Emetophobia (the fear of vomit) is completely different. It consumes your thoughts and it's the only thing you can think about. You constantly check the expiration dates on food, and throw it out if it's a month from expiring. Every noise your stomach makes sends shocks of worry through your system. It's all you can think about, and that worrying makes you check everything you did in the last few days. Did you eat expired food? Did you run too much? When was the last time you threw up? You think of all the bad outcomes and everything that could cause you to vomit. You start to panic, and get anxious. Night falls. You usually vomit at night. Your breathing gets heavier and you try to distract yourself. You watch a TH-cam video of something happy, but the anxiety doesn't stop. You watch something scary to take your mind off the current horror, but that doesn't work either. Your mind is filling with what if's and you're double checking and triple checking everything bad that you might have done. You go into a full blown panic attack, with cold sweats and hard breathing. You're shaking with fear and you feel more and more nauseas. You pray to a God that you might not even believe in to make you fine. To stop you from throwing up. You hope you die or faint. Even waking up in a pool of vomit is better than experiencing it. You tell yourself it'll be over soon and it'll be just a bad memory, but you really, really don't want any more bad memories. You start salivating, and you spit it out, because you read that this will delay vomiting since your mouth doesn't have enough saliva to protect you from injuries due to the acid rising into your mouth. It only reminds you of the act of vomiting and makes you feel worse. You try swallowing, but you wonder if you're just speeding up the process. You pray and pray for death to take you. You start crying and consider killing yourself quickly before you can experience the horror. Your only option is to wait it out. If it happens, it happens. Hours pass in this agony, but you can feel yourself come down from the panic attack. You're shaken, but fine. Relief floods your system. You put on something funny to watch to distract yourself from what just happened, and when you're too tired to move, you fall asleep. That is what it's like to have a phobia. It's not fun. It's not quirky. Being grossed out by holes or vomit or urine or whatever you find gross is normal. It's okay to feel that way and that feeling is validated, but it's a punch in the gut to people who suffer every waking moment in fear to claim you have a phobia and that you're so "weird and quirky lol XD". It takes away the true horror of having a phobia. This goes for mental illness too, like depression, anorexia, social anxiety, ocd. People suffer, and it's not your place to impersonate that to try and be a quirky individual. There are many other ways to be unique and claim your individuality in this society other than completely undermining the struggle and pain and torture that is phobias and mental illnesses. Of course, if you actually do suffer from a phobia or mental illness, you can disregard this, and I wish you luck on your path to overcoming your troubles.
Aliea Raymon Wow, I actually have emetophobia (fear of vomit) and this is seriously accurate. I don't go out to eat because I'm scared I might bet food poisoned. I don't go on amusement rides. The second I even get slightly nauseous, I have to control my brain from taking it too far. In fact, most of the times i feel nauseous are because my brain is making it so. Thanks for raising awareness, people who don't understand and just think being afraid of something is a phobia annoy me lmao
I totally agree to this!! I have a phobia of fair ground rides and water slides and stuff like that!! I can go near them just not directly under or next to them in feat of them breaking and stuff like that! I went on one when I went on holiday but cried after and stayed in the wave pool away from them! I once almost threw up from going on the tea cups!
Leo The Lion123 aw when I was younger and my siblings were supposed to watch me, they would lock me into a room, and leave me in there, no noise or anything. So I've always been afraid of places that are too quiet. It brings back alot ot horrifying memories.
I had a friend with the same phobia, she's afraid of butterflies and moths but not other insects (including even spiders, cockroaches, hairy caterpillars, huge centipedes, etc). It started (she says) when a huge owl-like butterfly followed her and scared her since then.
Thank goodness there is no Entomophobia! I hate bugs! I mean I can stand looking at bug pictures or thinking if them but when it comes to real life...NO! I cannot stand ants near me! I cannot stand any living insects near me! If I accidentally kill an ant, I gotta at least wash my hands 10 times. I cannot stand insects on me or any of my belongings! Is that counted ats having Entomophobia though? I mean it doesn’t really affect my life and all but I am just straight up afraid of insects when I am near them!
Carolyn Jeung The washing my hands part 10 times isn’t very literate. Just maybe, never dared to kill an ant yet. But of course it’s not too serious. Thanks though.
The last one is my biggest fear and my heart started beating really fast when it came up. Some people just don’t understand what it’s like to have a phobia.
candy canes nope, acrophobia is the _fear_ of heights and vertigo is a common form of _dizziness_ that can cause the sense of distortion, losing balance, vomiting, etc.
Maddipie RBLX ugh, I have the same thing, I can’t be awake for IVs because the vein pops out, and I hate it when dudes have their veins out, it started to me as just thinking they were gross but now I just can’t take it
I’m insanely insecure because of this phobia. I don’t have it - most of my friends do. I can’t gain weight easily no matter how hard I try so my arms are like lanky disproportionate twigs. I wear long sleeved shirts or jumpers whenever I go out because I made someone vomit when they saw my arms. I get that it’s not their fault they have a phobia of it but it really hurts.
My mom is an assistant to a children's psychiatrist (a very well known one in the field) and I used to go with my mom to her office. While my mom did a bunch of filing, I would play a game on her computer or look through her kid's books on things like OCD, phobias, and etc. This was there, and I thought it was just so cool. It's awesome to see it on TH-cam years later!
I had an elevator phobia when I was little, mostly because at my old Elementary school the elevator which I had to use since I'm in a wheelchair was old so it shook like mad and had a light that would always flicker and sometimes even go out completely thus leaving me in pitch darkness.
Me too! Once I was stuck in an elevator, and it was one of the scariest things in my life! I've never trusted elevators since, even though the odds of dying in one are very slim.

heights make me dizzy. I don't express fear that much.
The most frightening thing about this is the fact that they show the samn scene thrice from different angles.
Imagine they put the spongebob song thing over that scary music instead 😂😂
I didn’t realise how bad my phobia of spiders was until I couldn’t look at a DRAWING of a spider
Edit* To everyone who's replied, I relate on a spiritual level lol
Alyssa R I once cried looking at a picture book with spiders
@@Cheryskul Oh my God that sounds like me 😂😂
SAME HERE I LOOKED AWAY AT THE SPIDER PAGE I JUST CANT SEE IT
IT GAVE ME ANXIETY
I hate ants man! So fricc arachnophobia sucks
@@ashlyntrask503 You have Myrmecophobia (fear of ants) not arachnophobia (fear of spiders/scorpions)
That was freaking awesome!
I found this book as a kid and it freaked me out so bad, but now as an adult I’m just in awe of how well made and creative it is, the detail of claustrophobia not letting you open the book open fully is so brilliant.
Hipopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia
LuisFrom Philippines what an ironical name too
Yes
Fear of big words I hate that they chose that name for it but I don’t have it anyways
+Nina Vermoesen
Ironical? Come on.
The person who gave the name to that phobia surely is a passive-aggressive one lol
Carolyn Jeung ikr. I hope you can overcome your emetophobia. I know it's hell.
Aliea Raymon thanks for saying this because people are ignorant
Miss Pepsi xx no problem. I like to educate people about this, especially since it's something that hits close to home.

Fluffy Fox Nugget he'd be an idiot for clicking on the video, lol
the amount of detail put into this book is beautiful.
When I was younger I was forced to do rock climbing. I cried because I am acrophobic.
Leo The Lion123 aw when I was younger and my siblings were supposed to watch me, they would lock me into a room, and leave me in there, no noise or anything. So I've always been afraid of places that are too quiet. It brings back alot ot horrifying memories.
I can’t even stand on a chair and look down. People don’t understand. It’s not a quirk!
My class did and when it was my turn i turned around and said no and my teacher gave me a failing grade
Like
I am acrophobic too. I am afraid of everything that includes heights, except flying.
Sorry for my bad english btw
I left the room at Arachnophobia😂
Shaggy this isn't weed
I’m only scared at butterflies. I’m not scared at other flying insects.
Anyone else? Or just me .-.
AAliz same,i also have glossophobia.
im scared of moths
I had a friend with the same phobia, she's afraid of butterflies and moths but not other insects (including even spiders, cockroaches, hairy caterpillars, huge centipedes, etc). It started (she says) when a huge owl-like butterfly followed her and scared her since then.
P A U L P A U L while im pooping a huge ass moth flied near me and i literally ran out of the toilet and cried
I first read that as one complete phrase "pooping a huge ass moth"
damn, how could you poop out a live huge ass moth, hahahahaha
This is a well made pop up book; the illustrations and pop up designs are really nailing the point home.
Taehyung's belly fats I also have Entomophobia
Oh hi army lol. I also hate bugs.
YES me too I thought I was the only one
That sounds like Entomophobia mixed with a bit of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) Have you seen a doctor?
Carolyn Jeung The washing my hands part 10 times isn’t very literate. Just maybe, never dared to kill an ant yet. But of course it’s not too serious. Thanks though.
The last one is my biggest fear and my heart started beating really fast when it came up. Some people just don’t understand what it’s like to have a phobia.
The last one scared me so much. This is why i never attend funerals.
Ikr

I just can't stand on a tall building
But, thank god that trypophobia wasn't there
I thought it was called vertigo
candy canes nope, acrophobia is the _fear_ of heights and vertigo is a common form of _dizziness_ that can cause the sense of distortion, losing balance, vomiting, etc.
Yuriゆり same
I also hate snakes. They ate literally Satanic creations that have no right by God himself to exist
Wifiphobia fear of no Wi-Fi
skeleton productions no such phobia joke
skeleton productions genius
DatEly :P thanks
Thats my top fear 😂 howd y know 😂
Should make it more like "NYCTOPHOBIA instead of DARKPHOBIA"
Im glad Trypophobia wasn't here ( fear of holes)
Correction: Some studies imply that trypophobia isn't necessarily a real phobia (we're talking about small clusters of holes/circles here).
Then how do you have sex?
not real
Is SCP-106 chasing me?
Ayyye also better look out for 096
I acctually have a weird phobia I'm afraid of being in a high place and then looking up I feel like I'm going to fall. Just try it and see what I mean
Yeah Ikr. It's like, even if you don't move and look up, I feel like I will fall......

Me: Oh shi-
I have carpophobia, so the only thing scary in this was your wrists and that vein that pops out. Eeee, PUT IT BACK.
I didn't know that counts as a phobia but same
Maddipie RBLX ugh, I have the same thing, I can’t be awake for IVs because the vein pops out, and I hate it when dudes have their veins out, it started to me as just thinking they were gross but now I just can’t take it
I’m insanely insecure because of this phobia.
Same
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
Good thing TRYPHOPHOBIA ISN'T THERE..
trypophobia you mean
That's because it's not a real phobia.
SweetIvory 1203 😂😂ikr

Good thing there is no TRYPOPHOBIA
Yea.
That's because that's not a real phobia. It was a meme
Good thing there's no Formatobia.
Fear of Formating my Phone😂😂
👏👏👏
I'm scared of spiders and bugs.....but also dolls, germs, and big crowds.
I'm afraid at elavators... (I feel like it will fall) is this counted.. I'm not afraid in other small places . Just elevators😶
I had an elevator phobia when I was little, mostly because at my old Elementary school the elevator which I had to use since I'm in a wheelchair was old so it shook like mad and had a light that would always flicker and sometimes even go out completely thus leaving me in pitch darkness.
Elevatrophobia :v just kidding
Still Stalking You...😈
Me too! Once I was stuck in an elevator, and it was one of the scariest things in my life! I've never trusted elevators since, even though the odds of dying in one are very slim.
Can you call elavator fobia elophobia
