Wow, I would have loved it as a kid. Everyone that ever worked on a serious pop-up, knows that the composition, the angles and features make this pop-up near impossible. Sure, it's a bit crude at some angles compared to simpler pop-ups, but it feels like magic nonetheless.

Harry Potter Pop-up took my breath away with the smooth intricate nesting of movable paper and the many hidden features-especially the map-so reminiscent of things magical. He uses every mechanical trick in the book and none are gratuitous. A triumph of paper engineering!

I've always loved pop up books, but they are such fragile materials. Unfortunately, most of the libraries I know only carry a handful of them because children end up destroying these lovely works of art. It's such a shame. В Питере уже на прилавках продают.
Цену узнала только сейчас. И знаете, мне кажется это еще дешево за такой кропотливый труд. Вы только представьте, сколько людей работало над этим созданием. Не только нарисовать и написать текст, но еще и сделать так чтобы все это смотрелось как полноценная идея. Много мелких деталей, и интересных фишек. Обычная книга в принципе от 500 руб и выше стоит. Но ведь платим мы именно за эстетику и идею. Ведь прочитать можно и в интернете, а за прикосновение и наслаждение от самого товара нужно платить. И по мне он весьма оправдан. Не видела, чтоб каждый второй предоставлял свои услуги бесплатно.
