Most helpful video on TH-cam. Them other videos just told me put the pitch down then use fast distortion finish...
One told me to loop a part of the kick then just snap it to zero-crossing then one has a kick with 808 but mine would sound like fucking drills. THIS is perfect, especially because I am a demo user (still contemplating whether to get it or not... also I'm broke af).

give FL mobile a try. Its like $15, runs on a phone or iPad and you can make some nice beats on there. People are up on soundcloud making some fire beats.

Mazok21 i know i’m a whole month late so sorry if you’ve figured it out, but: you actually gotta open up the preset menu and choose the one named ”default”. i’m guessing you just opened up sytrus, and it defaults on some synth with effects and everything.

I've been waiting on a video like this
could you do a tutorial on sound selection? For example i noticed when i was following along for the metro boomin tutorial i used a different clap/808 and even thought they were in the same place it completely changed the grove based on just those two. I think one of the biggest struggles is sound selection in omnisphere(what pads/ leads to use/ sound good together) as well as picking perfect drums for the groove you are trying to make.
Listen to more music and you'll naturally start to know what sounds good together. Also good music should be based on experimentation, so play around with sounds until you find what works for you.
I jumped into sytrus and after every setting like you it still sounds like the some heavy metal chord

I've been making my own 808s since I seen this .. I just realized though that some 808s have kicks mixed into them.. like I was going through an old zaytoven kit and one of the kicks said mix with any 808 for delayed zaytoven 808.. I started looking closer at 808s that hit hard and it definitely seems like there's a kick mixed in because the Beginning wav form of the 808 looks different than the rest of it.. do you have a video showing how to mix a kick into the 808? A lot of times when I try it, i hear a click or pop and I'm not sure if it's a phasing issue or an Eq thing or what
he said it in the video when your making the 808 if you want it to have bit of a kick it it make in into a thump
the zay 808 has a delayed kick in it
look up something called "sidechain" or "sidechaining kicks with your 808" keyword, if you are trying to make your samples from scratch

if any one knows how to mess with the envelope pitch in omnisphere to do the same thing that would be a great help. i can make an 808 but cant pitch drop the 808
u don't need to pitch drop an 808 just make a sub record it and with automation shape it however u want, if u pitch drop it it'll always be off tune
@@fastkash2x131 like i said i was asking how to do this same thing in omnisphere alone... i know how to use automation to achieve the same thing but looking for a faster work flow...having to automated then rerecord takes time... and pitch dropping your 808 will not make it out of pitch if you pitch it to the drop... thank for answering things i didnt ask about and already knew.. any one else know how to pitch dro in omnishpere? or if it seven popssible
@@kingdomofkushproductions recording is better you don't need a synth wich takes cpu and ram of yo computer for an 808 it just not practical that's why u never see niggas pulling up serum or omni instances to lay a simple 808 pattern
