dude saamee 😭😭. Tbh he's one of the most underrated content creators i've ever watched. He has some of the best commentary, voice impressions to top it off, iconic friends that make his videos exciting, and interesting original content. Like, if he can make me watch a 2 hour video where Pokemon Red's sprites are H's, and make it genuinely entertaining and engaging, than he deserves way beyond 1mil subscribers.

Ah man, this ending with both openings at the same time not only was really well edited, but got me really emotional. I've never think that a pokémon nuzlocke roleplay would make me feel so invested and emotional than any kind of media in a long time. Salty and their friends are absolute great!
Most of the comment is about the friendlocke, but the last part I can also say about the general content of the channel. Probably one of the funniest and amusing content on TH-cam!

We do obviously want Friendlocke Season 4, but we also have to realize, what makes the Friendlocke so funny is the fact that Salty's friends are all there with him, Salty always does his best when he has a bunch of people to play off of, and that's literally ALL of his content. Seeing Tracey and Chrissy and the people who aren't normally in the foreground (to my knowledge) is what makes it special.
TL;DR: Derek should totally make more videos with the extended catalogue of friends

I'm honestly stunned at this particular compilation's ability to string together certain jokes in certain sequences (Prime example being Gerber asking about the pufferfish, followed by the entire pufferfish bit). It reframes jokes to make them even more entertaining somehow. Wonderful work, and cheers to another year of wonderful adventures (and a long, well deserved break before S3).
As much as I've enjoyed the Friendlocke (very good, very funny), I have rewatched the Have You Heard About and random gameplay videos so many times
honestly dude I don't mind you doing the pokemon stuff if it is what you like doing, my main problem was it felt like it was the ONLY thing you did in 2021. still enjoy watching your videos and will continue watching them so far i think my favorite of the 2022 videos was the Chuck E Cheese training videos. I'm glad the fundraiser met it's goal and your friend is doing better.

This video does a really good job at encompassing the Saltydkdan 2021 experience, even if most of it was friendlocke related. The funny moments specifically handpicked to show the funniest bits, the fact after Collin's doom the video went to season 2 to show you encountering Bradydood, it really shows the parallels between the two seasons. And the stuff outside of the friendlocke is great too, Garfeldi and Trevor the Hedgehog (and probably something else idk i watched this all in one sitting kinda late at night and the most i can remember were those two, the minecraft pokemon mod thing (incredibly annoying sobble), and more than three fourths of the video being friendlocke) are very funny haha i enjoy. Hopefully this year will be less about the friendlocke (aside from the april fools season 3 that was really funny) cause honestly you deserve a break from that.
Although on another note, I love how the ending was a combination of both of the friendlocke season's anime intros, that's such a nice touch.
I found you from your Mike and Melissa video a while back and have fell in love with the channel since then, genuinely one of, if not my favorite creator on the platform.
