What matters least versus what matters most. The relationship with the Savior and God is what matters most. Anything that is contrary to that relationship is contrary to Their ultimate goal for us to have immortality and eternal life.

In the political and societal circumstances in which we find ourselves this message is extremely important. If we as a people spent more time think about what we have in common and less on our differences we would all have a more peaceful world.

I could listen to this man talk for hours. I totally love him and his tenderness of feelings towards the children of God. Both gay and non-gay. He would make a great grand father and I do hope I get the opportunity to go up to him on either side of the veil to thank him for telling me. Bless you Brother Ballard. xx

Elder Ballard, your devotional was much needed this week. You were definitely inspired to give this message, because so many people have needed it every day since. Thank you for your love and service.

We are all children of God in desperate need of a savior. That's why He became flesh and paid the price for our sins. That's how much He loves us.

Due to a Lady running a Stop sign Christmas Eve totalling a CSV I was driving it will take me 12 hours instead of 6 hours. I Pray someday I will walk to One Mahalo my ancestors helped settle Saint George Snowflake Washington County Utah Bless Your 💓 and Family 🤗

I also love the reminder that we belong to a larger group than a political party or a country. That larger group/society/world should unify us and remind us to serve the greater good.

These thoughts so closely mirror things I have been concerned about and seeing that it has been nice to hear it here. We would be better off seeing each other as children of God first letting love lead and guide us rather than fear, anger, hate or putting people into groups in order to persecute them.

I find it extremely prophetic that this discourse was given only 2 months before the killing of George Floyd.

As someone who recently had a faith crisis, I miss believing that we are children of God. It really is a wonderful doctrine, but I just can't believe it anymore.

I promise it’s a true doctrine and that you can know it. Continue to pray and ask God about it. The answer will come. It may take some struggle in prayer but your personal witness from the Lord will come as it did for me when I was least expecting it. Put yourself in places that will feed your spirit with His Spirit. Be patient and persistent. I promise it is worth it!
